Esta cinta la vi hace muchos años y hace algún tiempo hice una reseña personal sobre ella, pero si tengo que evaluar lo que me gusta y lo que no, comenzaré por lo siguiente.

In "a simple plan" I saw snow-covered fields and roads, but I also saw the coldness of people who are driven by greed.
Sobre las actuaciones, no fue casualidad las múltiples nominaciones que tuvo Billy Bob Thorton, ya que su trabajo como Jacob es fenomenal. Es el personaje que nos hace sentir verdadera nostalgia, es quien encierra sentimientos de bondad e inocencia, con algo de falta de afecto también; de manera que muchos podríamos identificarnos con él. A su vez, Sarah la esposa de Hank es interpretada por la hermosa Bridget Fonda y esta chica fue uno de mis amores platónicos de los 90 ja,ja,ja. En "un plan sencillo" vi campos y carreteras cubiertas de nieve, pero también vi la frialdad de las personas que se dejan llevar por la codicia.
