   Plot

   Of all the superhero movies I've seen in my short life, this is the one I've seen the most, after "Spider-Man", "Iron Man" and "Hulk". And yes, I also had a CD/DVD of this movie and it was what I watched the most when there was no TV signal. I admit that Chris Evans' performance as well as the rest of the cast, the story, the script, the battles, the special effects, the CGI and the soundtrack are all great. Despite not having a success comparable to that of the previous films mentioned, it is true that it tells the origin of the great Captain America very well.

Admito que tanto la actuación de Chris Evans como la del resto del elenco de actores, la historia, el guión, las batallas, los efectos especiales, el CGI y la banda sonora son geniales en su totalidad. A pesar de no haber tenido un éxito comparable al de las anteriores películas mencionadas, es cierto que cuenta muy bien el origen del gran Capitán América.

   Si bien es cierto que el personaje principal, Steve Rogers, el cual luego se convierte en el famoso “Capitán América” es muy típico y hasta cliché del clásico buen hombre que se convierte en un superhumano para luego terminar siendo un héroe; se puede sacar varios detalles y características de este personaje en particular, luego de conocer su historia. Habiendo crecido en una época muy fuerte, este decide enlistarse en el ejército para luchar contra la Alemania Nazi y así llevar a los Estados Unidos a la victoria y la libertad, una libertad que seguramente tanto él como su generación y posteriores han escuchado y visto desde pequeños.

It is a film that perfectly illustrates what the world was like during the time of World War II, which then left vestiges in later generations. But, beyond all of the above, it doesn't have a story or plot that we haven't seen or known before in other superhero movies. However, it is still a good choice for fans of action movies, heroes, wars, drama, romance and science fiction.

   Personally, I give it an 8/10 rating as far as the superhero genre is concerned.

Los sucesos que ocurren durante y después de la guerra cambió por completo la forma que tiene Steve de ver el mundo. Claro, esto sin mencionar el final que tiene en esta primera película (no daré Spoilers). Luego de ver todo esto, es indudable pensar que esta película nos muestra muy bien un lado de la guerra que ya muchos conocemos, pero también vemos el origen de un héroe que luego cambiará por completo el mundo.

   Por otro lado, los efectos especiales, las secuencias de peleas y batallas, los efectos visuales y el CGI que maneja esta película están muy bien hechos. También está la banda sonora, la cual está bien y pega perfectamente con la época en la que está ambientada la película. Es una cinta que ilustra perfectamente cómo era el mundo durante la época de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, la cual luego dejó vestigios en generaciones posteriores. Pero, más allá de todo lo anteriormente mencionado, no cuenta con una historia o una trama que no hayamos visto o conocido anteriormente en otras películas de superhéroes. Sin embargo, sigue siendo una buena opción para los amantes de las películas de acción, héroes, guerras, drama, romance y ciencia ficción.

   Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 8/10 en lo que respecta al género de superhéroes.

   Saludos amigos, el día de hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes otra de las increíbles películas del universo de Marvel, honestamente soy una novata en este mundo, ya que he visto pocos films basados en este universo cinematográfico.

   La película se llama Capitán América: El Primer Vengador, entra en los géneros de: Ciencia Ficción, Superhéroes, Acción y Aventura, Los actores que más me gustaron en esta película fueron: Cris Evans interpretando el papel de Steve y Capitán América, Hayley Atwell interpretando el papel de Peggy Carter, Sebastian Stan interpretando el papel de Bucky, Hugo Weaving interpretando el papel de Red Skull.

   Esta Película es una de las primeras de Universo Cinematográfico de Marvel.

   Les mostraré un pequeño resumen y mi opinión del porqué recomiendo esta serie. Este resumen no contendrá spoiler de la serie, es solo para darles un motivo para que la vean.

   Steve y Capitán América:

   Al estar en plena guerra en contra del ejército alemán, conocemos a un chico llamado Steve, al cual está desesperado por entrar en el ejército y ser útil en esta guerra, pero su condición física y sus problemas de salud no se los permite, ya que lo rechazan constantemente.

   Al ser rechazado tantas veces, nuestro amigo falsifica sus documentos para intentar entrar en el ejército a través de los demás estados del país, siendo esto ilegal.

   En vez de alegrarse, ya que muchos son obligados a ir y que tienen salud y buena condición física, nuestro amigo quiere entrar si o si, puesto que para él un hombre debe arriesgar su vida por sus seres queridos, llegado esto a los oídos de un señor al que lo entrevista y le pregunta por qué quiere entrar en el ejército, por el hecho de que una persona normal se alegraría por no ir a la guerra.

   Luego de que nuestro amigo le explica su manera de pensar, este señor lo admite en el ejército, pero no lo mandan a la guerra, sino a un grupo de soldados que tendrán un entrenamiento especial para un experimento al que el gobierno está trabajando en secreto y que este señor es el científico que estaría detrás de todo esto.

   Vemos como nuestro amigo odia a los abusivos, ya que en toda su vida ha sufrido de maltratos y abuso por parte de las personas.

   Lo que nuestro amigo no sabe, es que estaría destinado a convertirse en una de las personas más poderosas del mundo para esa época y que le cambiaría la vida completamente.

   

   The Characters that I Liked:

   Steve and Captain America:

   La frustración del Capitán América:

   Luego de un atentado sufrido en el transcurso del experimento del supersoldado, nuestro amigo es el primero y último con éxito de este lado del mundo, siendo la única arma especial de todos los aliados para combatir en esta guerra, pero sus altos mandos no lo permiten, ya que para ellos es un experimento fallido pese a que es todo lo contrario.

   Para ellos querían un ejército entero de supersoldados y solo lo tienen a él, usándolo solo para shows para reclutar más personas y vender más bonos de guerra, haciéndolo sentir como un mono de feria, ya que él siente que debería de estar ayudando a las personas que están en dicha guerra.

   Luego de enterarse de que su mejor amigo está en peligro, este decide desobedecer las órdenes e ir a rescatar a su amigo junto con la ayuda de Stark y Peggy, pero este encontraría a un enemigo al cual no será fácil derrotar, convirtiéndose en su único objetivo, acabar con él. ¿Pero lo logrará?

    ¿Capitán América logrará rescatar a su mejor amigo? ¿Lo tratarán como un traidor después de desobedecer las órdenes? ¿Podrá derrotar a su primer gran enemigo?

   Lo sabrán al ver la película.

   Conclusión

   Me gusto la película, la forma en la que narra la historia es buena, se toman su tiempo en explicar las cosas y los detalles que ocurren en ella tienen buenos efectos especiales y la banda sonora es buena.

   La actuación de cada uno de los actores es buena, cada uno aporta su personalidad a cada papel que se les fue encargado. Mi actor favorito de esta película es Capitán América, me gustó mucho este actor, hace que no me imagine a otro actor interpretando ese papel.

   La química que tienen los personajes principales es buena y la que más notoria son la de Bucky, Peggy y Stark con el Capitán América, cada interacción que tienen con él se nota la química que hay entre ellos.

   En esta historia vemos el origen de este increíble personaje que nunca olvidaremos.

   Para mí las películas del Capitán América son las mejores en el género de acción en los superhéroes, todas sus coreografías en las peleas son muy buenas y el ambiente que le dan también.

   El público al cual pueden ver esta película es para mayores de 13 años, es buena para verla en familia y disfrutar de ella.

   I liked the movie, the way it tells the story is good, they take their time explaining things and the details that happen in it have good special effects and the soundtrack is good.

   The acting of each of the actors is good, each one brings their personality to each role they were given. My favorite actor in this movie is Captain America, I really liked this actor, he makes me not imagine another actor playing that role.

   The chemistry that the main characters have is good and the most noticeable are Bucky, Peggy and Stark with Captain America, every interaction they have with him you can see the chemistry between them.

   In this story we see the origin of this incredible character that we will never forget.

   For me the Captain America movies are the best in the superhero action genre, all their choreographies in the fights are very good and the atmosphere they give as well.

   The audience to which you can see this movie is for over 13 years old, it is good to see it in family and enjoy it.

   My wife and I finished watching the series "Falcon and the winter soldier " a week ago, and the truth was spectacular, very well developed and with new characters that were very iconic, although the plot was more focused on promoting support for the protests for the deaths of African Americans, as in the series they talk about the injustices suffered by people because of their skin color. But that miniseries was really incredible, let's hope they continue it to see what happens with falcon, us agent, bucky and the mediator of power.

   Now back to the topic I was coming to, my wife and I decided to watch all the movies of the MCU faces to be able to understand them and get small references, since between the MCU movies there are many intertwined threads that lead to a better understanding of phase 3 and 4. So we started in historical and almost chronological order, the movies of phase 1 starting with the first installment of "Captain America: The First Avenger ".

   To begin with, we remembered absolutely nothing of what happened in the first images of the movie, since it came out 10 years ago, but it starts in Antarctica with a group of explorers searching in the ice and they find a gigantic ship where the capital of America is in the present. After this scene they go to the past, specifically in the year 1943, where we see a weak and weakling steve rogers, who constantly wants to be enlisted in the army because he feels bad for not participating but is rejected due to his multiple diseases, his friend bucky was accepted and went to london as a sergeant.

   After trying again at a technology fair, Steve meets Dr. Erskine, a scientist who seeing Steve's qualities decides to give him the gift of being a super soldier, because as he says, the serum of the supersoldier magnifies what is in everyone, and as Steve is a person with principles, he knows that he will not abuse his power.

   But the villain of this installment, Red Skull, sends an assassin to kill Dr. Erskine so that he will no longer create the serum and steal what he has already done. So the day of the experiment all the elders and secretaries meet to see if the serum will be successful or not, and if it goes well but Dr. Erskine dies, and the assassin of Hydra almost escapes with the formula, but Steve manages to stop him which gives him publicity and he is named Captain America to sell war bonor, which Steve does not like, since he expected to be sent to the ranks.

   After destroying a Hydra facility and taking a communication radio, they realize that Red Skull's right-hand man and star scientist Dr. Zola is traveling on a train, so Steve and his team decide to go after him, but not everything goes as expected, because when Bucky tries to defend Steve from death he falls off the train and dies.

   So Zola reveals what is the last stronghold of Red Skull and his master plan to weaken the United States and lose the war, so the whole army led by Captain America are launched once and for all to destroy what is left of Hydra. And they succeed but Red Skull escapes in the plane that had the bombs with energy from the Tesseract. So after an intense battle between Red Skull and Captain America, the villain takes the cube by accident and is teleported to Vomir to be the guardian of the Allah Gem (end game reference).

   But Steve has to sacrifice himself because he doesn't know how to stop the plane that is going too fast, so he rushes into the ice where he practically dies, and then we see scenes where the allies won the war and we see that the shield division starts with Peggy that after this movie you have to watch the Marvel agents of Shield: Peggy carter series.

   

   Now that I've told the short story of this great movie, let's talk about what I liked: For starters, the SGI effects they use to recreate scenes. For example the body of captain america before the serum is extremely cool and when red skull takes the tesseract are also extremely cool effects.

   Also the whole movie is the bridge to understand all the other faces of the MCU (these are theories that I concluded):

   • You can see that Red skull was the first test subject for the super soldier serum and the last one was Steve, and that as Dr Erskine died they tried to replicate the serum but it was not as powerful, and that's where Isea Bradly and his friends who almost all died while perfecting the serum.

   • The technology of the Stark reactor comes from the tesseract, since at the end of the movie you can see Howard stark picking it up from the seabed, and although tonny stark made it in another way, the original prototype was with the energy of the tesseract.

   • When Bucky was caught by Hydra the first time, you can see that they had already experimented with him to make him a perfect assassin, and when he fell from the train and they picked him up as you can see in the winter soldier, it was to finish the mission, I imagine that doctor zola tried to create a serum of the super soldier and that his research was continued.

   • If you look closely at what happens in avengers end game, you will realize that when captain america crashed the plane in antarctica until he arrived home with peggy, no time passed and that if he arrived on time to the appointment he had.

   

   What I didn't like: Something that I didn't like and that I find ridiculous was the fear that Red Skull had when he saw Captain America for the first time, since he told Zola that they had no chance and that's why he blew up the factory. Now, I think he had much more power since he could shoot hundreds of lightning bolts at the captain and annihilate him.

   Captain America didn't have to die with the ship, since he could put it in orbit to space and destroy it outside the earth and escape from a certain altitude with the ships that were in the angar, but no, to add more drama and recycle the character in more movies they decided to kill him and freeze him.

   After these two things, the whole movie is extremely entertaining and great. And in this quarantine even though it came out 10 years ago it seems as new as if it was released yesterday, highly recommended.

   Mi esposa y yo hace una semana terminamos de ver la serie "Falcon and the winter soldier", y la verdad estuvo espectacular, muy bien desarrollada y con personajes nuevos que fueron muy iconicos, aunque la trama se enfocaba mas en promover apoyo a las protestas por las muertes de personas afroamericanas, ya que en la serie hablan de las injusticias que sufren las personas por su color de piel. Pero estuvo realmente increible esa miniserie, esperemos que la continuen para ver que sucede con falcon, us agent, bucky y el mediador de poder.

   Ahora volviendo al tema al cual venia, mi esposa y yo decidimos ver todas las peliculas de las faces de MCU para poder entenderlas y asi sacar pequeñas referencias, ya que entre las peliculas del MCU hay muchos hilos entrelazados que guian a tener un mayor entendimiento de la fase 3 y 4. Asi que empezamos en orden historico y casi cronologico, las peliculas de la fase 1 que comienzan con la primera entrega del "Capitan america: el primer vengador"

   Para empezar, no recordabamos absolutamente nada de lo que paso en las primeras imagenes de la pelicula, ya que salio hace 10 años, pero empieza en la antartida con un grupo de exploradores buscando en el hielo y que encuentran una nave gigantesca donde esta el capital america en el presente. Luego de esta escena van al pasado, especificamente en el año 1943, donde vemos a un debilucho y esclenque steve rogers, que constantemente quiere ser enlistado en el ejercito porque se siente mal por no participar pero es rechazado debido a sus multiples enfermedades, su amigo bucky fue aceptado y se fue a londres como un sargento.

   Luego de intentarlo de nuevo en una ferie de tecnologia, Steve se encuentra con el Dr Erskine, un cientifico que al ver las cualidades de Steve decide darle el don de ser un super soldado, ya que como el mismo dice, el suero del supers oldado magnifica lo que hay en cada uno, y como Steve es una persona con principios, sabe que no abusara de su poder.

   Pero el villano de esta entrega que es Red Skull, envia a un asesino a matar al doctor Erskine para que este no cree mas el suero y robar lo que ya haya hecho. Asi que el dia del experimento todos los mayores y secretarios se reunen para ver si el suero tendria exito o no, y si sale bien pero el Dr Erskine muere, y el asesino de Hydra casi escapa con la formula, pero Steve logra detenerlo lo cual le da publicidad y lo nombran el capitan america para vender bonor de guerra, lo cual no le gusta a Steve, ya que el esperaba ser enviado a las filas.

   Asi que mientras esta en italia haciendo un espectaculo para los soldados, se entera que el regimiento donde esta su amigo Bucky, ha sido capturado y muchos perdieron la vida, asi que como teme por la vida de su amigo, sale sin dudar para ayudarlo y Peggy con la ayuda del piloto Howard Stark llevan a Steve a las lineas enemigas. Donde aterriza con exito y con mucho sigilo logra llegar hasta donde estan los prisioneros y librarlos, luego al buscar a su amigo Bucky, se da cuenta de que han experimentao con el.

   Tambien en ese momento confronta por primera vez a Red Skull, donde este le dice a Steve que ambos son seres humanos superiores. Asi que luego de explotar toda la fabrica de Hydra, red skull huye a otra fortaleza. Asi que luego el capitan america junto con 400 hombres rescatados sanos y salvos para seguir luchando contra Hydra. Ahora el capitan america junto con un equipo tactico logran destruir todas las fabricas de Hydra, lo que pone a red skull muy furioso y desesperado por dar un golpe final para ganar la guerra.

   

   Luego de destruir una instalacion de Hydra y tomar un radio de comunicacion, se dan cuenta de que el mano derecha de red skull y cientifico estrella el Dr Zola, esta viajando en un tren, asi que Steve y su equipo deciden ir a por el, pero no todo sale como esperaban, ya que cuando bucky trata de defender a Steve de la muerte cae del tren y muere.

   Asi que zola les revela cual es la ultima fortaleza de red skull y su plan maestro para debilitar a estados unidos y que pierdan la guerra, asi que todo el ejercito dirigido por el capitan america se lanzan de una vez y por todas a destruir a lo que queda de Hydra. Y lo logran pero red skull se escapa en el avion que tenia las bombas con energia del Teseracto. Asi que luego de una intensa batalla entre red skul y capitan america, el villano toma el cubo por accidente y es teletransportado a Vomir para ser el guardian de la gema del alama (referencia a end game).

   Pero Steve se tiene que sacrificar debido a que no sabe como detener el avion que va a mucha velocidad, asi que se avalanza hacia el hielo donde practicamente muere, y luego se ven escenas donde los aliados ganaron la guerra y se ve que la division de shield inicia con Peggy que luego de esta pelicula tienes que ver la serie Marvel agents of Shield: Peggy carter.

   

   Ahora que ya he contado la historia resumida de esta gran pelicula, hablemos de lo que me gusto: Para empezar, Los efectos SGI que usan para recrear escenas. Por ejemplo el cuerpo del capitan america antes del suero es sumamente genial y cuando red skull toma el teseracto tambien son efectos sumamente geniales.

   Tabien toda la pelicula es el puente para poder entender todo las otras faces del MCU (Son teorias que yo conclui):

   • Se puede ver que Red skull fue el primer sujeto de prueba para el suero del super soldado y que el ultimo fue Steve, y que como el Dr Erskine fallecio trataron de replicar el suero pero no era tan poderoso, y alli es donde entre Isea Bradly y sus amigos que casi todos murieron mientras perfeccionaron el suero.

   • La tecnologia del reactor Stark viene del teseracto, ya que al final de la pelicula se puede ver a Howard stark recogiendolo del fondo marino, y aunque tonny stark lo hizo de otra forma, el prototipo original fue con la energia del teseracto.

   • Cuando Bucky fue atrapado por Hydra la primera vez, se puede notar que ya habian experimentado con el para que fuera un asesino perfecto, y cuando cayo del tren y lo recogieron como se puede ver en el soldado de invierno, era para terminar la mision, imagino que el doctor zola trato de crear un suero del super soldado y que sus investigciones fueron continuadas.

   • Si te fijas bien en lo que pasa en avengers end game, te daras cuenta de que cuando el capitan america choco el avion en la antartida hasta que llego a casa con peggy, no paso nada de tiempo y que si llego a tiempo a la cita que tenia.

   

   Lo que no me gusto: Algo que no me gusto y que me parece algo ridiculo era el miedo que tenia Red skull cuando vio al capitan america por primera vez, ya que le dijo a zola que no tenian oportunidad y por eso exploto la fabrica. Ahora, yo pienso que el tenia mucho mas poder ya que podia disparar cientos de rayos hacia el capitan y aniquilarlo.

   El capitan america no tenia que morir con la nave, ya que podia ponerla en orbita para el espacio y que esta se destruyera afuera de la tierra y escapar desde cierta altitud con las naves que habia en el angar, pero no, para agregarle mas drama y reciclar al personaje en mas peliculas decidieron matarlo y congelarlo.

   Despues de estas dos cosas, toda la pelicula es sumamente entretenida y genial. Y en esta cuarentena a pesar de que ha salido hace 10 años parece tan nueva como si hubiera sido estrenada ayer, altamente recomendada.

   I decided to rewatch all Marvel movies starting with Captain America: The First Avenger. I know that Iron Man came out first, but in the order of events, Captain America is the first. The movie is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who wrote the screenplay for all three Captain America movies and Infinity War and Endgame. No wonder that there are so many references in Endgame to Captain America movies. Joe Johnston directed the movie and didn't continue on, like most phase one directors. Also careful for spoilers to all Marvel movies.

   The movie came out in 2011. So much has changed and so have I. It still bugs me that a movie about WWII doesn't even mention the Holocaust, but there was one interesting subject that it did touch on – Paganism. Hitler's paganism and his believes in the old faiths that existed before Judaism. This movie choses to reference the Norse Mythology for the sake of the movies and the comics, but if you listen to some neo-Nazi speeches and hear them talking about things like the children of the Sun, that's paganism and an old faith that is mentioned in the Old Testament. The totally crazy belief system was actually not that far from reality.

   Now let's move on to the fun stuff. As we all know the movie centers around Steve Rogers (played by Chris Evans). A man who wants to join the army to fight in the war for all the right reasons, but doesn't meet the physical criteria until he is enlisted by Dr. Abraham Erskine (played by Stanley Tucci) to the super-soldier possible team. During training under Colonel Chester Phillips (played by Tommy Lee Jones) and Agent Peggy Carter (played by Hayley Atwell), he is chosen to be the one who is injected with the serum. The results are impressive, but not everything goes as planned.

   Dr. Abraham Erskine who is formally a German scientist tried to create the serum in the past. He tried it on Johann Schmidt, the Red Skull (played by Hugo Weaving). As the Red Skull name implies, Schmidt was a failed experiment. Schmidt is the head of Hydra – a Nazi division that makes weapons and grows into something more. In order to fuel their weapons Schmidt gets him hands on the Tesseract that is from some reason on Earth and not in Odin's vault He thinks it will give him the powers of the gods. Well, in the end the stone just transported him to outer space. We saw where he ended up in Endgame.

   Schmidt finds out that Erskine will try to recreate the serum that was used on him for the Americans and has Erskine killed. But not before injecting Rogers with the serum. After that problem, the division gets shut down. Rogers is recruited for shows that asks Americans to buy bonds. During this show he punches a fake Hitler. A clear homage to the first issue of Captain America, which had Captain America punching Hitler on the cover. Because Rogers doesn't approve of such propaganda, I have a feeling that the Falcon and the Winter Soldier will not approve of Agent U.S. doing this propaganda during Falcon and the Winter Soldier .

   When Rogers is sent to do the show in Europe the soldiers are not impressed. But, when he finds out that his best friend James Buchanan 'Bucky' Barnes (played by Sebastian Stan) is being held hostage by the Hydra he goes behind enemy lines to save him. With the help of Carter and Howard Stark (played by Dominic Cooper). He manages to save him and a lot of other America soldiers and with a few of them and so the legend of Captain America beguns. They create a special division to fight hydra.

   In the end, in order to stop Hydra and the Red Skull, Rogers lands the plane full of bomb fueled by the Tesseract that are meant to destroy almost every major city in the U.S.A. in the water and freezes in the ice. Stark manages to find the Tesseract, but it is years before they find Rogers frozen in the ice. So this explains why the U.S. army has the Tesseract in Captain Marvel which takes place in the 90s. From some reason I thought that Tony Stark found it and it didn't make much sense. Also when Rogers promises Carter to take her dancing before landing in the ice and that they should choose a slow song because he doesn't know how to dance just brings tears to my eyes. That dance comes up a lot in the future.

   Other Marvel movies reference this movie so much, but mostly Endgame. The most obvious parts are the Carter ones. Rogers has the clock with the photo of Carter wherever he goes. The dance that Rogers finally get to have at the end of Endgame. It is sad in both movies. There is the obvious "I can do this all day" saying by Rogers that stays with him for all of the movies and gets made fun of in Endgame. There is also the "don't do anything stupid until I get back/how can I when you're taking all the stupid with you" saying that was saved for the end of Endgame between him and Bucky. *Endgame *is a full circle for Rogers. He can't move on. His right dancing partner is in the past. Also, I am pretty sure that some of the music from this movie survived all the way to Endgame. Rogers was chosen for the program because he is a good man that – makes him worthy in the end. So many references. I am sure I didn't even half of them.

   Also, when you remember that Rogers fought in WWII, his refusal to let go of old fashion values makes more sense, like freedom in an exchange for a suit of armor around the world.

   Rogers is just a good man that has been given a golden opportunity. Now he must learn how to live in the future. Alone. All of his friends and family are gone. He has nothing left but the fight.

   This movie holds up a lot better than I thought that it will. I really enjoyed it.
