I am not a huge fan of Nigerian movies because I feel like there script doesn't really make sense to me, more people will concur to this . I have a lot of friends who hate Nigerian movies with so much passion. But you see when it comes to Nigerian block boster movies I always turn up because I enjoy watching them . Especially Nigerian movies.

Colours of fire a Nigerian block boster movie released towards the ending of 2025, It is directed by NIyi Akinmolayan , the movie was shoot in Nigeria. This is a beautiful Nigerian movie /drama it is richly blended in mythology and African culture. With a romantic suspense. The action and visual effects in the movie is very good advanced. The colors of fire as mentioned in the movie is Red and blue. And they two tribes represented the colors beautifully.

Akinbode a warrior who was sent by his people the blues to hunt a hideous beast that has been believed to be the cause of the havoc in their land from the rival tribe the red lands . He has been well fortified for this journey to defeat the best.

Things suddenly take a different turn when he gets to the Redlands ,things didn't happen as expected he discovers that they have been lied to all the whole and he discovered that there is more story than he was told. A sudden spark of romance brings him and moremi together.

The plot twist in the starts when Akinbode begins to investigate more he realised that the two tribes has been built on lies, fear and manipulation. He was put in a tight corner turn between his loyalty to his people and venturing into the truth he just found out.

At some point after the celebration of Akinbode's victory. He decided to leave to visit his maternal home but he went to the red lands instead of going to his maternal home, because he clearly wanted to know the truth and also known about moremi the strange lady he fell in love with.

The unexpected romance between Akinbode and moremi is really complicated because choosing moremi will totally change the direction of his life. In the story we see that love can be sweet and dangerous at the same time. Which made them both decide to stand for each other at all cost. Moremi played her soul so well. The fire dance was magnificent was so beautiful and I really loved it her attire was so pretty. She is indeed a perfect match for Akinbode.

Most times the enemy is not who we think it is, it was never about the red lands ,it was about the enemies and fear that held the people captive. This part is really deep and made so much sense to me. Never judge people based on assumptions.

Let's not forget Baba Agba who is Akinbode's biological father who Kept protecting him from the shadows. Nothing beats a father's love and advice he always made sure to look out for his son. Knowing that he was actually the best came as a shock to me in his case love hurts and he couldn't protect his beloved.

Badero who is the son to the leader of the blues the Abifarin played a major role along side Akinbode and moremi. Towards the ending of the movie. The biggest lesson I took from the ending is that we should not allow fear or the opinions of others to make us hate people we have never taken the time to understand.
