Hoy les comentaré sobre mi experiencia al ver una película que me impactó por unas escenas bastante fuertes que en verdad no había observado en otros filmes pero que es una de las características de las sobresalientes obras del director Quentin Tarantino. Se trata de su película de acción y suspenso de 90 minutos de duración llamada Death Proof (a prueba de muerte) del año 2007 y que en mi opinión cuenta con una excelente selección de temas musicales que acompañan cada escena de acción, lo que se ha convertido en una de las marcas registradas del estilo de su escritor y director. De manera general sus filmes poseen esos detalles que los hacen diferentes a los demás del mismo género y es algo que le da ese sabor que engancha al espectador. Otra de las características de Tarantino, es que siempre se las arregla para contar con un reparto de lujo en cuanto a los actores que dan vida a sus personajes y que logran resaltar de manera notable el rol que realizan, logrando que el público automáticamente le siga la pista a cada miembro del reparto, a sabiendas de que en cualquier momento le dan un giro a la trama y a los acontecimientos.

Today I will tell you about my experience watching a movie that shocked me by some pretty strong scenes that I had not really seen in other films but that is one of the characteristics of the outstanding works of director Quentin Tarantino. It is his 90-minute action thriller Death Proof from 2007, which in my opinion has an excellent selection of musical themes that accompany each action scene, which has become one of the trademarks of the style of its writer and director. In general, his films have those details that make them different from others of the same genre and it is something that gives them that flavor that hooks the viewer. Another of Tarantino's characteristics is that he always manages to have a luxury cast in terms of the actors who give life to his characters and who manage to highlight in a remarkable way the role they play, making the audience automatically follow the track of each member of the cast, knowing that at any moment they give a twist to the plot and the events.

Los hechos transcurren Austin – Texas cuando Mike quien está siempre al acecho de chicas que viajan en grupo, observa a cinco amigas que están tomando en un bar y que hablan de hacer un viaje para celebrar el cumpleaños de una de ellas, Mike ofrece llevar a Pam (interpretada por la bella Rose McGowan) en su auto pero cuando ella sube a este se da cuenta de que tiene una estructura parecida a una jaula, sin embargo no puede salir a lo que Mike le dice que es un auto a prueba de muerte, pero solo para el conductor, seguidamente acelera su máquina letal a gran velocidad para posteriormente pisar el freno a fondo ocasionando que Pam golpee su cabeza contra la estructura quedando sin vida. Cumplido si primer objetivo, esta especie de psicópata va tras el grupo de chicas que se desplazan en la carretera de noche para luego embestirlas en un choque mortal, con su carro equipado para matar, en lo que se convierte en una de las escenas más impactantes que he visto, por la crudeza de los hechos, los que repite en varias ocasiones para captar la muerte de cada chica por separado.
La policía investiga el hecho pero las autopsias indican que las chicas se encontraban en estado de embriaguez por lo que no pudieron culpar al retorcido asesino.

hacen un acuerdo para conducirlo y dejan en garantía a una de sus bellas compañeras. Ya en carretera las mujeres muestran habilidad para en el manejo e incluso quieren hacer un viejo juego de acrobacia sobre el capó del auto ante la mirada de miedo de Abbie (Rosario Dawson) quien se muestra algo tímida. Mientras las chicas se divierten con su especie de juego extremo, reciben un choque del auto de Mike, quien se muestra excitado ante esta nueva presa a la cual tiene a su merced y comienza la verdadera acción en la película ya que Mike logra hacer chocar el auto de las chicas y Zoë sale disparada hacia unos arbustos, por lo que sus amigas creen que ha muerto. Mike satisfecho, baja de su vehículo a prueba de muerte y se burla de las mujeres, sin embargo para sorpresa de todos, Kim saca un arma, logra herir al Mike en uno de sus brazos y este logra huir.
Para alegría de los cinéfilos, la bella y audaz Zoë esta ilesa y se ríe de la cara de sus amigas jajaja, les pregunta que harán al respecto pero le dicen a Abbie que baje del auto porque ellas piensan vengarse de su atacante, pero resulta que Abbie olvida sus miedos y timidez y les dice que quiere ir con ellas para hacerle pagar.
Las chicas ubican el carro de Mike quien está tomando Whiskey para pasar el dolor del disparo recibido, cuando es embestido fuertemente por las heroínas de la película, Zoë baja y logra herir nuevamente a Mike en el brazo, esta vez con un tubo de metal, sin embargo este logra arrancar su vehículo y huir, ahora pasando de ser el asesino perseguidor al temeroso perseguido jajaja, en esta parte presenciamos esa magia del cine que logra que nuestras emociones cambien de un extremo a otro, ya que aupamos a las chicas que lo alcancen y le den su merecido. Al final de esa espectacular persecución, Mike creyéndose ganador por pensar que logró evadirlas, es embestido por última vez, volcando su auto y quedando mal herido, pero las valientes heroínas se muestran implacables y logran tomar su venganza de una manera impensada muy particular. Las chicas sacan al despiadado asesino de mujeres y literalmente de dan la golpiza de su vida, a puño limpio, alternándose en su justiciero y merecido castigo que se prolonga por algunos segundos y que nos hace emerger ese extraño sentimiento de satisfacción al ver que los malos reciben una reprensión acorde con sus malos actos.

Esta sublime escena feminista, donde las mujeres toman ley propia termina con el trío de chicas alzando los brazos en señal de victoria y paradójicamente es Abbie quien dejando en el olvido sus miedos, acierta el golpe final que definitivamente da muerte a Mike en mitad del pavimento.
Una muy entretenida película de acción que destaca por encima de otras producciones del mismo género, por sus impresionantes escenas, su música acorde a cada una de estas y a al buen trabajo del elenco actoral.
Apreciación:
En mi criterio y por los puntos a favor que ya he mencionado le doy un 8 en la escala de 10 y como punto negativo debo acotar que el inicio de la película es algo flojo o falto de guía, no se descubre la verdadera trama hasta el comienzo de los asesinatos de Mike. Esto pudiese hacer que el espectador pierda en interés por tener que esperar mucho tiempo antes de la acción.

Having accomplished his first objective, this kind of psychopath goes after the group of girls who are traveling on the road at night to then ram them in a deadly crash, with his car equipped to kill, in what becomes one of the most shocking scenes I've seen, for the rawness of the facts, which he repeats several times to capture the death of each girl separately.
The police investigate the incident but autopsies indicate that the girls were intoxicated so they could not blame the twisted killer.
After a year, a group of beautiful women (Rosario Dawson, Tracie Thoms, Mary Winstead and the gorgeous Zoë Bell) head into town in search of a car that is for sale and while making a few stops they are observed by this kind of predator of women, who does not hesitate to go on the prowl. Upon arriving with the owner of the car for sale, they make an agreement to drive it and leave one of their beautiful companions as collateral. Already on the road, the women show their driving skills and even want to do an old game of acrobatics on the hood of the car before the look of fear of Abbie (Rosario Dawson) who is a little shy. While the girls are having fun with their kind of extreme game, they get a crash from Mike's car, who is excited about this new prey that he has at his mercy and the real action in the film begins as Mike manages to crash the girls' car and Zoë is shot into some bushes, so her friends think she is dead. Mike, satisfied, gets out of his death-proof vehicle and taunts the women, however, to everyone's surprise, Kim pulls out a gun, manages to wound Mike in one of his arms and he manages to flee.
To the joy of the moviegoers, the beautiful and daring Zoë is unharmed and laughs at the face of her friends hahaha, she asks them what they will do about it but they tell Abbie to get out of the car because they plan to take revenge on their attacker, but it turns out that Abbie forgets her fears and shyness and tells them that she wants to go with them to make him pay.
The girls locate Mike's car, who is drinking Whiskey to get over the pain of the gunshot, when he is rammed hard by the heroines of the movie, Zoë gets out and manages to wound Mike again in the arm, this time with a metal pipe, However, he manages to start his vehicle and flee, now going from being the murderer pursuer to the fearful pursued hahaha, in this part we witness that magic of cinema that makes our emotions change from one extreme to another, as we support the girls to catch up with him and give him what he deserves. At the end of this spectacular chase, Mike, believing himself the winner for thinking he managed to evade them, is rammed for the last time, overturning his car and getting badly injured, but the brave heroines are relentless and manage to take their revenge in a very particular and unthinkable way. The girls take out the ruthless killer of women and literally give him the beating of his life, with their bare fists, alternating in their just and deserved punishment that lasts for a few seconds and that makes us emerge that strange feeling of satisfaction to see that the bad guys receive a reprimand commensurate with their evil deeds. This sublime feminist scene, where women take their own law, ends with the trio of girls raising their arms in victory and paradoxically it is Abbie who, leaving her fears in oblivion, hits the final blow that definitely kills Mike in the middle of the pavement.
A very entertaining action movie that stands out above other productions of the same genre, for its impressive scenes, its music according to each of these and the good work of the cast.
Appreciation:
In my opinion and for the points in favor that I have already mentioned I give it an 8 on a scale of 10 and as a negative point I must point out that the beginning of the film is somewhat weak or lacking in guidance, the real plot is not discovered until the beginning of Mike's murders. This could make the viewer lose interest by having to wait a long time before the action.
