There is no doubt that, for the most part, Hollywood movies are made solely and exclusively for the purpose of entertaining viewers in the simplest way possible. Very few productions focus on exploring aspects that go beyond entertainment, since, obviously, the profit lies in ticket sales. The above observation is not necessarily a complaint on my part. In fact, I believe that Hollywood's job is to entertain above a…More
I just watched F1: The Movie, and honestly—it’s like I’m still buckled in, heart racing, adrenaline still humming in my veins.. What hit me first was the sheer sound—the roar of those engines rattling through the theater like they were inside my chest. But underneath all that speed and flash, what really stuck was the vulnerability they managed to carve out of a world that’s usually just “go faster, win harder.” The…More

After watching all the hype around Brad Pitt getting back into action movies and Jos…More

Can a Hollywood movie really capture the essence of Formula 1—the risks, the technology, and the drama? That's the question I asked myself before watching this new film starring Brad Pitt. As someone who has long enjoyed this sport, I had to share my thoughts on what I think is good, what's not so good, and some interesting facts I learned about its production. F1 🏎️ la película 🎬 ¿Un blockbuster para puristas o p…More
Source I had heard so much about F1 and seen the trailer that I had to see it, I knew it was about a veteran driver who comes out of retirement to help a rookie and well you've seen that story about five hundred times in sports movies, from Rocky to Top Gun Maverick and everything in between. What I must admit is that Joseph Kosinski knows how to make the action feel real and exciting, the racing scenes are filmed i…More

Top Gun: Maverick as Allegory, and F1: The Movie as a Spiritual Parallel At first glance, F1: The Movie appears to be a straightforward story. But when you look at the ‘starting grid’, director Joseph Kosinski, co-writer Ehren Kruger, cinematographer Claudio Miranda, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, all fresh off Top Gun: Maverick, it signals that the story might carry a deeper layer. In Top Gun: Maverick, Kosinski a…More
