Todo se configura en una doble vida, aunque de una soñadora. Una mujer como Alex trabaja en el día en una fábrica, pero de noche puede que haga una que otra travesura bailando con mucho ritmo. Ese sensual movimiento lujurioso es capaz de seducir a cada uno de los borrachos que visita ese club en donde todos van a disfrutar.
A pesar de ser huérfana vale la pena luchar por algo, ese algo significa un sueño. La realidad es que la protagonista es igual que cualquier ser humano: ¡está llena de dudas!

Critica al guion
“¿Cuál es el problema de esto?” Sencillo, el guion es poco creíble, Alex tiene 18 años de edad, ningún ingeniero contrataría a una mujer tan joven en 1983 en una obra de construcción o fabrica para soldar, más cuando el mundo evidentemente era tan cerrado y arcaico. ¿Por qué decidí volver a ver esta película?
Siempre me ha gustado la música y sobre todo las películas de bailarines, cuando estaba pequeño sentía que mis ojos brillaban cuando veía a las personas entrar a la tarima y demostrar sus talentos. Esta razón para mí es lo suficientemente fuerte para provocar que diera un nuevo vistazo. Además, lo más sorprendente de este film es como se teje ese deseo de alcanzar y lograr algo que es para ti.
Ver esto que vi hace tiempo me hace revivir momentos emotivos y aparte darme algo de diversión.
Artistic Scenes
Although the script has its shortcomings, it is impossible for me to forget this movie because of several scenes, the best thing was to watch them again. Who doesn't remember how Alex looks sensual with that torn nightgown? Yes, the one where she let her neck show, sensual, undeniably. A work of art that can be seen in few occasions, well, I'm not from that time, but maybe it made an impact.
Another part that I will always remember is that intense way in which Alex dances, some time ago I wrote my liking for the song Maniac by Michael Sembello, Flashdance is also one of the reasons why I like it. Alex feels free, free to dance in a way that only she and cinema has captured for eternity.
I can't stop liking that moment where Alex has that presentation after understanding that even though everything can go wrong, he dares to show who he is and what he wants, while Irene Cara's song "What A Feeling" is playing in the background. A truly powerful scene that shows that it is only us who are afraid to follow our dreams.
There is nothing impossible, the impossibility of achieving our dreams are only those thoughts that we engage in to limit ourselves.
Escenas Artísticas
Aunque el guion tenga su deficiencia, es imposible para mí olvidar esta película debido a varias escenas, lo mejor fue volverlas a ver. ¿Quién no recuerda como Alex se ve sensual con ese camisón roto? Sí, ese en donde dejo ver su cuello, sensual, indiscutiblemente. Una obra de arte que se puede ver en pocas ocasiones, bueno, no soy de esa época, pero quizás causó impacto.
Otra de las partes que siempre recordaré es esa manera intensa en la que Alex baila, hace un tiempo escribí mi gusto por la canción Maniac de Michael Sembello, Flashdance es también una de las razones por las que me gusta. Alex se siente libre, libre al bailar de una manera que solamente ella y el cine ha dejado capturado por la eternidad.
No puedo dejar tampoco mi gusto por ese momento en donde Alex tiene esa presentación después de entender que a pesar de que todo puede resultar mal, se atreve a mostrar quien es y lo que desea, mientras de fondo se escucha la canción de Irene Cara: What A Feeling. Una escena realmente impactante que demuestra que únicamente somos nosotros los que tenemos miedo a seguir nuestros sueños.
No existe nada imposible, la imposibilidad de alcanzar nuestros sueños son únicamente aquellos pensamientos que entablamos para limitarnos.
Shocking Messages

Aunque no lo crea, la película marca un mensaje con críticas que vienen dadas por la falta de integración social, es decir, sin títulos no puedes lograr un puesto o reconocimiento. Aunque en principio esto se establece como una imposición mental, y Alex vence esto, pero los títulos no son lo básico, las habilidades son más importantes.
Las cosas fáciles no son una opción, por ejemplo, la amiga de Alex, Jeanie papel que interpretó Sunny Johnson, tomó una decisión equivocada cuando no pudo alcanzar su sueño de ser bailarina a pesar de haber practicado por mucho tiempo.
