  1. 🌌 Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End – Time, Memory, and the Quiet Weight of Immortality@zeruxanime171d

Most fantasy stories begin with a journey.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End begins after it ends.

Released in 2023 and based on the manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, this anime offers a rare and gentle perspective on heroism, time, and what it truly means to live. It’s calm, thoughtful, and deeply moving—without ever raising its voice.

When I watched Frieren, I felt a quiet sadness mixed with peace. It’s the kind of story that doesn’t rush you, but stays with you long after the episode ends.

🧙‍♀️ A Hero Who Lives Too Long

Frieren is an elf mage who once journeyed alongside legendary heroes. Together, they defeated a great evil and brought peace to the world. But while human lives pass quickly, Frieren’s lifespan stretches far beyond theirs.

As time moves forward, Frieren begins to realize something she didn’t understand during the adventure: the true value of the moments she shared—and the people she took for granted.

⏳ Time as the True Protagonist

This anime treats time not as an enemy, but as a lens. Through small encounters, memories, and everyday moments, Frieren explores how relationships gain meaning only when we slow down enough to feel them.

There are no loud twists here—just quiet realizations that hit harder than any battle.

    🌿 A World That Breathes

Visually, Frieren is serene and elegant. Soft colors, gentle landscapes, and careful animation give the world a sense of calm realism. The soundtrack complements this perfectly—subtle, emotional, and never intrusive.

Every town, every conversation, every pause feels intentional, inviting the viewer to reflect rather than react.

💫 A Story About Learning Too Late—and Still Choosing to Care

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is about regret, growth, and emotional maturity. It asks a simple but powerful question:
What if you only understood love, friendship, and loss after it was too late?

Yet the story isn’t hopeless. It’s about choosing to care now, even when the past can’t be changed.

If you’re looking for an anime that is introspective, beautiful, and quietly profound, Frieren is one of the most meaningful fantasy stories in recent years.

    frieren.jpg

When I was a child, I really liked stories about battles, and now that I'm an adult, I like that they have feelings.

I recently saw the trailer for Frieren: Beyond Journeys End and immediately realized that this story is on another level. In anime, it's much easier to find stories that take the easy route, developing around the characters' powers and power-ups, but in the case of Frieren, I was surprised not to see this. It's a very different trailer, full of emotion, dialogue, and a certain sadness.

My feeling about the trailer is that Frieren won me over with her dialogue of inner nostalgia for all that she will see live and die over the centuries. As human beings, we would like to live for many centuries, but in that process, we also forget that what surrounds us will perish. Many of us love pets such as cats and dogs, and seeing them perish because they live less than us is never pleasant and fills us with sadness when it happens.

With Frieren, the protagonist of this story, I felt the sadness of losing those she loves and who have been a part of her adventure.

    image.png

    frie 1.jpg

I'm sharing the trailer with you so that you'll be encouraged to watch it and add this story to your list of anime to watch, because it's clear that the story it tells wants to go further.

For example, Dan Dan is good, but it's still a story that revolves around the testicles of one of its protagonists. What stands out most to me about Frieren in its trailer is that it blows other stories out of the water, bringing us seriousness and narrative quality.

I want to point out that elves aren't my favorite, for example in fantasy stories like The Lord of the Rings, because everyone loves them, haha, but in this case, I think I could fall in love with Frieren as a character if the anime continues to give me dialogue as melancholic as what I saw in the trailer.

I dedicate each and every one of my posts and videos to my little dog named princess, we called her chiquito, she is no longer with us but from heaven she will see that her existence was valuable and the most beautiful thing that will exist in my heart and soul.

  3. Sôsô no Furîren: un viaje de autonocimiento con la ayuda de amigos / Sôsô no Furîren: a journey of self-discovery with the help of friends@mamaemigrante276d

    Screenshot from Imdb pictures gallery

    Screenshot from Imdb pictures gallery

    Screenshot from Imdb pictures gallery

    Screenshot from Imdb pictures gallery

    Screenshot from Imdb pictures gallery

Since I started watching anime with my eldest son, my preferences have always been for action shows, adopting the word “tatakae” (fight or combat in Japanese) as a way of telling him to enjoy an episode of the series we are watching.

But once we finished watching, I was surprised by the story of Fieren, an elf who is many years old and does not age at the same rate as her human friends, whom she seeks to get to know better after one of them has passed away, while the others are quite old. It is a beautiful allegory that reminds us that we often live with people for a long time, but we do not give ourselves the opportunity to really get to know them.

    Screenshot from Imdb pictures gallery

The story, created by Tsukasa Abe and Kanehito Yamada, begins at the end of a battle against the Demon King, whom she defeated along with her other teammates: Himmel, the paladin; Heiter, the priest; and Eisen, a dwarf warrior. They agreed to meet again 50 years later to watch a meteor shower, a cyclical phenomenon they were unable to appreciate at the time.

But as time passes, when they meet again, only Frieren remains the same, while all the others have aged significantly, which makes her begin to take an interest in something other than magic. As a sorceress, her greatest hobby was finding spell books.

    Screenshot from Imdb pictures gallery

However, among all the spells she has learned, there is something that is achieved more through action, and that is living with awareness of what we do, who we are, and sharing moments in which magic is produced by actions and not by spells.

With the death of one of them, Frieren's mind undergoes a change in priorities, as she questions how she could have spent so much time with someone without getting to know them, even in their daily actions, just as we surprise ourselves living on autopilot. So she decides to embark on a journey of recognition of her battle companions, guiding her steps backwards, returning to the places they visited together and rediscovering the magic of friendship in the little things.

    Screenshot from Imdb pictures gallery

I must admit that it is a story that at first seems slow and somewhat boring, but as the episodes go by, it emotionally hooks the viewer, as it makes us question many of our daily actions, and although it does not produce the adrenaline rush of action or shonen anime, it does have some scenes in which they must face some monsters.

    Screenshot from Imdb pictures gallery

This anime is not only entertaining, but also teaches many lessons if you really look beyond it being just an animated series. Although new seasons are still pending, it does not leave you with that extreme anxiety to know more, but neither does it fade into oblivion for its viewers.

    Story

During their decade-long quest to defeat the Demon King, the hero party—consisting of Himmel the hero, the priest Heiter, the dwarf warrior Eisen, and the elven mage Frieren—forms bonds through adventures and battles, creating unforgettable, precious memories. However, for Frieren, whose lifespan exceeds a thousand years, the time spent with her comrades is just a fraction of her life.

After their victory, when the party disbands, Frieren returns to her "usual" routine of collecting spells across the continent. Due to her different perception of time, she feels no strong attachment to these experiences. As years pass, Frieren gradually realizes how deeply her time with the Hero's Party affected her. After witnessing the deaths of two of her former companions, she begins to regret taking their presence lightly. She vows to understand humans better and forge genuine personal connections. Though the story of that memorable journey has long ended, a new story is about to begin.

    Animation

Incredible. Honestly, there’s not much more to say. The animation is exceptionally fluid—rarely seen at this level. The art style is also excellent. The fight scenes perfectly complement the animation and art style. The visual effects are crisp, and the choreography is highly entertaining.

    Music and Soundtrack

The opening song is decent, but the ending song is fantastic. Visually, both the opening and ending sequences are great. The soundtrack fits well with the fight scenes and other important moments but isn’t extraordinary or particularly memorable.

    Pacing

As an adventure anime, the pacing is a bit slow. This is typical for this type of anime, so you’ll need to adjust to it.

    1000055376.jpg

    Characters

The characters are one of the anime’s strongest points. Every character is likable. As the series progresses, we see their development and softer sides. Each character gets individual attention, and their distinct personalities contribute to the story in small or significant ways. In short, every character is well-developed and engaging.

    Watch Order

Watch the 28 episodes that have been released. There’s nothing else, no extras.

    Personal Opinion

In my view, Frieren is a breath of fresh air because it’s rare to see originality or uniqueness in new anime these days. Frieren delivers that, presenting common themes in its own distinct way.

At first glance, this anime might seem like a typical one, similar to many others, but its depth is entirely different. It offers a unique perspective on various themes and raises challenging questions, such as: What is the purpose of our existence? This isn’t just an adventure to defeat a boss, demon, god, or something else; it goes much deeper.

This anime isn’t for everyone due to its slow pacing and philosophical nature, which may not appeal to those who prefer fast-paced action/thriller genres. Still, I’d recommend giving it a try, as it teaches important lessons and can shift your perspective. If you have the time, give this anime a shot.

  5. I Finally Watched "Sousou no Frieren"...@tegoshei389d

Yes, I admit I'm late... but it's better late than never, right? *haha* When ***Sousou no Frieren*** was released in 2023, a lot of people got hooked, and I've been hearing and reading a lot about it. Of course, it got me curious, but as always, I try to avoid watching ongoing series and wait for it to be completed so I can binge-watch.
However, my to-watch list just kept on getting longer and longer, so it was pushed back along with other anime released in the same year. *hahaha* But finally, I decided to give it a shot.

I know that a lot of anime fans here have already watched it, but for the sake of those who haven't, allow me to share what it is about.

The members of the hero's party, Himmel (hero), Heiter (priest), Eisen (dwarf warrior), and Frieren (elven mage), have formed a bond after going through battles and interesting adventures in their quest to defeat the Demon King. After a decade, they were able to achieve not only their goal, but also precious memories together.

However, due to the elf's long lifespan, this 10-year journey with her party was merely a fraction of her life. She has a different sense of time, and somehow didn't really hold strong feelings toward their experiences together while doing their quest. After the party disbanded, she returned to her regular life and routine of traveling around and collecting spells.

After witnessing the deaths of her two human companions decades later, she somehow realized how their time together truly impacted her. She began to regret not spending more time with them and taking their existence for granted.
Because of this, she vowed to try establishing genuine personal connections and better understanding the humans she meets along the way.
This is a story of Frieren's new journey while re-living the memories she once shared with her party.

After watching the anime, I could finally understand the hype. It's a feel-good anime which could be exciting at times. I love it when she reminisces about her past experiences with her previous party and applies what she has learned from her previous comrades to the new ones.
I also like the fact that she could be clumsy and awkward despite being a powerful elven mage. It's amusing how she worries about and finds joy in the most trivial things.

There are also a lot of funny and interesting characters in the series. But among them, I love this boy who reminds me so much of Zenitsu from Kimetsu no Yaiba. He's crazy, loud and seems unreliable, but he has a great heart... he's also an awesome warrior, although he's quite unaware of his own potential.
I also like how each flashback was presented. They might be just bits and pieces, but you can imagine how their journey must have been during that huge quest.

When it comes to the technical aspects, I also like it. The art style, animation style and effects were all amazing and enjoyable to watch. In addition, the soundtrack, including the OP and ED, was great, too.
It was indeed a full package, so it's no wonder it's rated so high.
Although this type of anime isn't really my thing, I enjoyed it. I like its flow. I can see myself rewatching this, but it won't really be that high on my to rewatch list. hahaha
So yeah, that's what I think... how about you? Have you watched this before? Tell me what you think. :)
I'll end this post here. See you around, and have a good one! (^^,)/

  6. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End | Review@soy-laloreto394d

Hello, everyone! Against all odds (mine, that is), I'm back with a new review of an anime that I managed to finish, not without a lot of effort. As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm back in this world and started watching one of the anime series that was recommended to me. Here's my review of Frieren: After the Journey Ends.

    Banner Movies.png

    image.png

Himmel, the paladin; Heitel, the corrupt priest; Eisen, the dwarf warrior; and Freiren, the elf sorceress, after 10 years of traveling together and facing great enemies, defeated the Mighty Demon King. Celebrations were held around the world, statues of the heroes were erected, and the companions said their goodbyes. And here the story begins. Very few stories begin at the end, and it is rare that we are told in detail what happens after great deeds: this story tells us.

After the hero Himmel dies 80 years after the victory, Frieren begins to question her thousand-year-long life as an elf and whether she really made the most of the moments she traveled in the 10 short years of her long and almost infinite life. She takes on a pupil, whom she trains as a mage as a last request from her friend Heitel, and later accepts Eisen's warrior apprentice to accompany them on their journey to the lands of the Demon King, where heaven is located.

    image.png

I must confess that I found it very difficult to keep up with this series. Although the first season is already over, I found it very tedious to continue watching. I watched about half an episode a day because, honestly, I had a hard time getting hooked. It was in episode 5 that I started to feel interested in the story, but just as I was getting interested, I lost interest again.

What I liked, and the reason I stayed until the end watching the anime, was the construction of each of the characters, their development, and the story behind them. Frieren is divine, a legendary magician who goes around collecting rare spells and trying to understand the way humans think. Fern, Frieren's apprentice, has a spectacular sense of loyalty and discipline. Stark is the soul of the group, with a good sense of humor but many doubts about his level as a warrior. The three of them charm us with their personalities until the very last episode.

    image.png

I know that the slow pace of the series is completely intentional, precisely so that we stop to think about those brief special moments that life brings us: eating a delicious dessert, watching a beautiful sunset, choosing a gift for a friend. Those details are what we treasure most at the end of our lives. The theme of this anime is the friends we make along the way. Each one of us has those little memories of people who once passed through our lives and whom we may never see again, or who have already passed away, but whom we treasure.

This is about making the most of our fleeting time on earth, remembering that no matter how much we want to achieve glory, many years from now, our presence may not even be remembered. No matter how remarkable we may become at some point, but that there are people around us who will remember us for the rest of their lives. That the most important legacy we can leave behind is the best version of ourselves.

I think in the end, it was all worth it because I thought it was quite beautiful. I hope you enjoyed my review, and let's keep reading!

  7. A Disappointing Fantasy Adventure: A Review of "Frieren"@fashtioluwa414d

Have you ever been recommended an anime that you believe will be fire but end up getting disappointed? Yep, that's me. Hello, anime community. It's another great week for us to share our experiences in the anime world.

I recently gave "Frieren" a try, after a friend suggested it to me, hoping it would capture my attention with its unique blend of fantasy and adventure. Unfortunately, after watching five episodes, I found myself struggling to stay engaged. I mean, there are so many things I just don't flow with in this anime. It was so hard to understand the storyline since they kept going back and forth.

I am not here to give criticism, but I am only sharing my opinion on what I felt while watching it; others may have a different opinion.

One of the things I noticed about the anime was that it was an adventure kind of anime, which always contains nice fight scenes, but the fight scenes in Frieren felt uninspired and is lacking in excitement. The action sequences didn't quite live up to my expectations, and I found myself yawning at the predictability of the battles.

Frieren, the main character, is an interesting concept - an immortal elf who sets out on an adventure after her human friend died. However, her personality and actions didn't resonate with me. She was too cool and lacked motivation to do anything; her view of life was more of nothing lasts so she has no interest in things that can't compete with her immortality. She often exhibits childlike behavior, which makes it challenging for me to take her seriously as a protagonist. I saw that she started changing in a way and started showing little feelings to other people around her.

I continued watching "Frieren" in hopes that the story would pick up and reveal something intriguing. But sorry to me, nothing interesting is yet to happen, and I think I will waste a lot of my time finishing this series. I wish someone could tell me I am wrong, so my hope for it can be renewed.

    A Boredom-Filled Watch

Currently, I only watch "Frieren" when I feel bored, and even then, it doesn't quite hold my attention. Should I continue or go for something else? Please tell me.

Thanks for reading. I hope someone tells me something that might intrigue me. My name is Fashtioluwa. ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmTsshQp77FH8jURaHYjqbc41jsKWNnEENTq89GAsvQJH4/the_big_fash_show_2_.gif)

  8. Fieren: Beyond Journey's End | Anime Review@josehany452d

I would like to share with you an anime recommendation, after many years of being inactive in what is the world of anime, I have started watching some and this seems to me one of the best.

    Fieren: Beyond Journey's End.

This is an anime quite different from the rest of the ones I had seen, it is of fantasy and magic but it has a fairly calm and emotional approach.

    Fieren: Beyond Journey’s End.

Here we continue the story of Fieren, she is a magical elf who one day was part of a group of travelers who ended up being the group of heroes who in their adventure managed to defeat the Demon King.

    IMG_5617.jpeg Source

Even though all this seems like the whole story, it really isn't. Although after this adventure that took the group 10 years, after this Fieren moves away from everyone, since she is an elf and lives many years, also because she had a goal of finding magic around the world, of course years later she meets again with her former companions, they are all older and as the years go by, Fieren sees them die.

But the story really begins to develop when Fieren after this embarks on another new journey and here she discovers and explores more than she would have liked to have done before, in addition to taking understanding humans more seriously.

Of course I'm not going to highlight more, in fact I just said something that appears in the first chapter. I liked this anime very much to recommend it, it is quite quiet, it has a really beautiful animation, it has beautiful and relaxing landscapes, each character has its own story and depth. I would really say that this is a jewel and it is worth watching because in addition to giving you very good messages about life, it always keeps you calm, it is as if the landscapes and music put you in a state of relaxation without being boring.

  10. Anime Review: Frieren: Beyond Journey's End | Exploring longevity in a different way [ENG-ESP]@jessuses1381780d

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing amazingly well today, The Anime Realm community, again I want to share with you a review of an anime that I loved. I want to talk to you with my opinions of the anime: Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. I didn't know this work, but I had seen that many people were waiting for its anime adaptation, so I sensed that its manga was quite popular, and had a good fan base. So when it was released, I added it to my list instantly, as I was sure that I would find a good product, and it was totally so. Many people have labeled it as “the anime of the year”, it has become very well known within the medium, and was one of the most popular until recently.

Talking about the series itself... I think that in the whole vast panorama of anime, or even within science fiction or fantasy in general, as movies, or series.. I had not seen a work that touched the weight of time like this, that managed to capture the essence of time, how it runs and how this affects the characters.. and this is the main attraction of this anime, usually the stories begin with a beginning, the classic group of protagonists have such a mission and we are told the story, until this mission is fulfilled, and that's it. Here in this anime, the story begins when the group of heroes have already defeated the big final boss, they already completed their long journey... they defeated all the main bad guys, and won... so, what's next? This great anime takes us into a world of magic and fantasy, with a specific focus on immortality... long longevity... and human frailty.

This anime introduces us to an elf girl, who has lived many, many years, and how she was part of the great group of heroes who defeated the demon king. But, although the end has “finished” for the rest of the adventurers, this journey does not mean the same for Frieren, since she has lived many years, and will live many years more than her companions... so her journey could not be considered “finished” yet. As time goes by, and her beloved companions eventually grow older... Frieren will have to face the reality of her own immortality, and begins to realize the transience of the human lives around her.

One of the things that makes “Frieren: Beyond Journey's End” stand out, is its incredible ability to convey such deep emotions, through moments that might seem insignificant or casual, every interaction, every look, every paused silence... is loaded with meaning for our protagonist, it shows us in a quite accurate way all the emotional distance that Frieren has felt, and how this separates her by far from the mortal world... Seeing how little by little she realizes that she has missed thousands of opportunities to take advantage of being close to her companions, makes you feel a lot of empathy with her.

The animation of this anime, beautifully accompanies all this narrative, this series was animated by Madhouse studio, a studio that has had a good reputation with their adaptations, and in this series does it again in a wonderful way, accurately captures all the subtleties, expressions, environments, places... I always applaud animation studios that give everything in beautifully animating a work, not because it is an apparently unimportant shot, means it has to be poorly animated, or half animated, things that many anime do nowadays. The effort of all the great team that works hard to give us a product with an incredible quality is greatly appreciated. It should be noted that this series is not just a depressive or melancholic reflection on immortality, and that's it.

This series knows perfectly how to celebrate friendship, and other important things for interpersonal relationships, it makes us see how fleeting we are, and how we should appreciate every moment we share with our loved ones, but... that does not mean that there is no story, with a very good animation, we will see incredible fights full of magic, since along the way Frieren will be accompanied by Fern, a young apprentice, who happens to be very good with magic, and Stark, a warrior. We will see how they embark on a new journey, and how their bonds will grow stronger, appreciating the evolution of our protagonist, and how she learns to value those connections that she previously overlooked.

This anime gives a lot of depth to its characters... each of them, from Frieren, to the secondary characters, are very carefully constructed, and have a very unique and captivating personality. Fern, Frieren's new apprentice, is a somewhat stubborn, good-hearted mage, and Stark, is a seemingly weak or fearful warrior, but when it comes down to it, he is quite good, and lethal... and not only them, there are many characters with well defined motivations, elaborate pasts, that fulfill their role in an excellent way within the story.

The soundtrack of this series is also incredible! It has an exquisite sensibility... the music knows how to perfectly carry different themes, and intertwines in a masterful way all the narrative, it is simply perfect in all the emotional and epic moments... Creating an atmosphere that surrounds you completely. The Openings and Ending are very good, both the visuals and the songs, transmit you that magic characteristic of this kind of fantasy worlds.

Although this series can feel a little slow at times, this leisurely pace also has its charm, if you come expecting to see fights and explosive magics everywhere... that's not what this is about, there is action, but when it is justly necessary. It is very nice to appreciate this slow tone, to see the details, and the adventures of our protagonists. It is easy to see life, time, with different eyes after watching this anime, as it reminds us how fleeting we are... how fleeting life can be, and how we should appreciate each other, as much as we can.

I consider this anime, indeed, as one of the best anime of the year... ¿The best? I can't tell you yet, but, without a doubt, I highly recommend you give it a chance, it's a work that transcends the limits of the fantasy genre, that shows us a perspective never seen before (at least by me). It is a profound exploration of human connections, friendship, and the irreparable passage of time. Each episode left me super satisfied, incredibly animated, and with a narrative that was entertaining to watch. I give it a well-deserved 9.5/10.

This series has earned a place in my heart, looking forward to its continuation... to know much more of these beautiful and charismatic characters. I hope you liked this review, I share with you the trailer of this amazing anime so you can watch it for a while, take care! See you in a future review!

  11. Sousou no Frieren [ES-EN]@eliudgnzlz863d

    Un Nigromante En LaRealidad (2).gif

    divi11.png

I must start by saying, I never imagined that a magic anime starring an Elf and that was not entirely romantic, was going to become one of my favorite stories.

    untitled.gif

Hi guys and girls, with the cover and my short introduction, you know what anime I'm going to talk about, besides, it has become very popular with the passing of the chapters. Not to throw flowers at it, but it has that something that doesn't make it, a more adventure anime, where the protagonist is the most powerful and can annihilate the human species in the blink of an eye. Here there is indeed an intriguing story, that goes through the past, the present and in a way the future.

    divi22.png

    sousou-no-frieren-drinking-tea.gif

Before I go on and get into some of the plot and story, avoiding spoilers, I'm going to talk about the basic facts. Sōsō no Frieren is an anime that came out last year on September 23, so far it has a total of 24 chapters and is still on air, as far as I know, it is a faithful adaptation to the manga, with some changes (nothing big deal, things that in the anime are better). I think its animation is very good, the effects, the calm moments, where nature is present, is a 10/10. The musical part, I have no complaints, I'm not very fond of listening to the opening or ending in anime and in this series, I don't skip them.

    eat-cake.gif

Let's start with the story, it's a bit slow, but that doesn't mean it's boring (although, I'm a lover of stories with good backgrounds), there is so much to understand about our protagonist, that the rhythm it has is ideal. There are many memories, but they are not those typical ones where the protagonist is in a great moment of tension (it's not filler), but quite the opposite; the memories appear, to make her see our Elf, everything she didn't know how to take advantage of with her former travel companions.

    divi11.png

    stark-sousou-no-frieren.gif

Something that very few see and understand, is the reason why she takes her days as if her life would never end, the harsh reality is that elves last thousands of years, the average age of a human is 75 years. You could say that Frieren is a teenager and she is over 1000 years old, in that fantasy world.

Every week that goes by, I feel that even though it is fantasy, this anime has something to teach me, something that I have been aware of for a long time, is to realize the value of the people that are still with us, this is something that we don't usually give so much importance to, until... you know.

    frieren-fern.gif

As I already told you, it's not an ordinary anime, with a repetitive story full of filler, it's like they're reinventing the way of telling an adventure. They're breaking the mold, which I bet a lot of writers were afraid to do. With the simple fact that Frieren, doesn't flaunt her immense magical power, accumulated over her abundant life, speaks volumes.

Talking about the protagonist of the series, I'm excited, I just can't count spoilers hahahahahahaha. Giving it a space to the co-stars, Fern and Stark, I must say that they are like teachers for Frieren, as she is for these guys. There's a certain romance between them, which... at some point we hope something will come up, unless the writer doesn't want it to (I don't trust it to happen, but the last thing you lose is faith).

    divi22.png

    frieren-sousou.gif

So many things to tell about the humility and kindness of our protagonist, that simply by saying that it is an anime to detail and not watch it because it is in trend, I say it all.

Tell me what you think of this anime, and if you are watching it every week, or if you are waiting for it all to come out, to give you a marathon.

    /// ESPAÑOL /// ESPAÑOL ///

    divi11.png

  12. OPINIÓN Y BREVE RESEÑA DE SOUSOU NO FRIEREN/OPINION AND BRIEF REVIEW OF SOUSOU NO FRIEREN [ESP/ENG]@yasmarit874d

Hello friends of AnimeRealm, a pleasure and happy day! For this week I have as a post to talk about an anime that has been highlighted a lot in the comments, at first by the image I did not understand why, I thought it was normal elves, magic and adventure, but when I saw it I understood the reason for the anime and its good review and not only for the good animation that presents but by the theme it handles, it really has a little bit of everything, fun, friendship, the reason for life, sorcery, comedy and appreciation for the family that is formed.

It is Sousou No Frieren, Beyond the end of the journey, is an anime based on an elf named Frieren who was orphaned by a slaughter of monsters in her village a human who takes care of her teaches her more about magic and the stability of caring and keep in mind the good things in life, that she must continue forward and remember the things she does for the greater good, after a few years she meets those who will become more than her friends, they will be her new family, Hilmer the hero, Heiter the priest and Eisen the dwarf will be the ones who teach her the reason to start a journey, an adventure between all of them to eliminate the greatest evil that existed and help those who need it.

As the story progresses we see how Frieren lives with them, knowing that their destiny is shorter than hers and the dwarf, will teach her to appreciate the moments and serve as a guide for others who need it as will be the case of Fern a sorceress, Stark the warrior and Seisen the priest, she will begin to understand that transmit what she knows and help even in minimal things can make a difference and motivate to improve the environment of all. Each chapter conveys a moment of her adventures, some sad, others of laughter, others of teaching, since she is an elf and has lived for a long time, she has seen everything, but maybe at the beginning it will be noticed as cold, not very attached, but then she will change as she tries to understand humans.

The magic she uses at some points is simple like cleaning a statue, making a bouquet of flowers, but in my opinion is what we call science or everyday things that make it magic, and although it seems something simple Frieren makes it special and motivating people to have their place well, do things better and collaborate with each other, she is a powerful elf but shows that magic not only serves to fight but to create and help others, to understand the importance of giving meaning to your life, especially when you have a lot of time to live it.

This anime is in its first season, has more than 12 chapters, is entertaining, funny and teaches you several things, appreciate your friends, what you do for life, to give meaning to what you do and to understand that no matter how bad things are there is always a way to solve it and follow your dreams, even if time does not play in your favor.

  13. Sou Sou no Frieren: An anime that shows us the importance of getting to know people@mig1892d

    portada.png

Hi Hive friends, I know I've had a while without posting around here, but I really haven't been in the mood lately and sometimes it's hard to get certain things done. However, I will try again to post most of the time, starting with this first post about an anime that maybe many of you know from the reels circulating on Facebook. As you saw in the title, I'm talking about "Sou Sou no Frieren", which I expected something different, but it captivated me anyway.

The story of this anime begins with the end of an adventure, where we are shown Frieren, our protagonist, along with other heroes made up of a priest named Heiter, a dwarf by the name of Eisen and a swordsman Himmel. They arrive in a city victorious after defeating the demon king, but we are told nothing of said story, only how well Frieren got along with said heroes and the great bond they formed.

As Frieren goes about celebrating with these heroes, he watches in the sky as a shower of shooting stars falls, an event that happens every 100 years. They promise each other to see this event again, as Frieren tells them there is a better place to see it and wants to take them. After this, we are shown how the heroes say goodbye to Frieren, and she tells them that she will continue to collect spells and that she will see them again in 100 years, as that is nothing to her. Here we are given to understand that Frieren is a character who has lived for a long time due to being an elf.

After those 100 years have passed, Frieren returns to revisit that event with that group of heroes and pick up some material he had given the swordsman for safekeeping. These two meet and he is no longer the same young man as before, but has aged. Then Heiter and Eisen arrive to experience that significant event they had seen quite some time ago. Arriving at the place where Frieren had promised them, Himmel tells him "thank you for everything".

We are then shown how this one is in a coffin, and people are heard at the funeral of this great hero. Seeing Frieren, who was his companion, she didn't look sad; everyone in the room started to criticize her, but Heiter together with Eisen alleviated the situation. Then, when they are already burying Himmel's coffin, Frieren suddenly bursts into tears, saying that she never really knew him and that she regrets that she did not make the effort to do so and that he did. After this event, there is a great change in Frieren, as he does not want this to happen again, so he will strive to get to know people more in his long-lived life. He says goodbye to Heiter and Eisen, thus beginning his adventure.

"Sou Sou no Frieren" I found it to be a rather entertaining and gentle anime, as it focuses more on Frieren and the characters that are added to her adventure. You can see how little by little she relates much more to them, helping them to become better as people. Also, during the anime we are shown small fragments of the adventure she lived with her friends, which gives us to know more about each of these characters and our protagonist. I really recommend it, despite not being what I expected. I thought they were going to actually tell the adventure itself of Frieren, along with Heiter, Eisen and Himmel, although they do, but not in the way I had intended, that the whole anime would be based on them. Still, I liked how they handled the story. If you want an anime to pass the time without a lot of action and with more character development, funny and touching moments, this is a good choice. I must say that the anime is not finished; it reached chapter 19, but I still didn't get bored at any point and I look forward to the remaining chapters.

While browsing through the anime series that are coming out, I stumbled upon this anime. I add: as the billboard of premieres is super saturated with isekai and fantasy genres, the truth had a really low expectation of finding some quality anime, either by script, animation or originality.

To my surprise, this anime (Sousou no frieren) is something relatively pleasant to watch.

But what is the plot of this series about?

    el15.png

    Imdb

The series begins with a group of heroes who have already defeated the demon king, so each one must follow their own path, either return to their town or change their profession, since the main mission, to eradicate evil, has already been accomplished.

    el12.png el14.png

The aim of the series is to narrate the passing of time through the elf, as her perception of time is clearly different from that of humans.

Little by little the girl sees how her adventure companions age and pass away, although it is clear that she is not a very emotional character to persuade.

She is somewhat antisocial and does not have much attachment to human things, since her hobby is to collect new magics for her personal inventory.

    el3.png

    Imdb

In a certain part, even though the character design looks very polished, I have to say things from my point of view.

Initially it seemed to me a mixture of an albino and unfriendly girl like Ruri from Nadesico, with some of the medieval plot and the group of the anime "the Record of the Lodoss War", so I can't put the girl on a pedestal either, as she has many comparative points, taking away the originality of her art, as well as her group of heroes.

    ruri.png

    RECORD.png

    Imdb 1 / 2

Clearly she has a Sheldon Cooper attitude, she is too methodical and not very receptive to the emotions of others, so this series is about her change of personality from a girl with no emotions to a person with feelings.

    el9.png

    el11.png

    el10.png

    Imdb

This is seen throughout the episodes, where we see that (even though she is an elf and is not remotely interested in humans because they die very quickly), the death of her adventure companions due to old age, gradually turns her into a sensitive girl.

Clearly her mission of collecting magics is now focused on helping her friends in one way or another, and she literally began to look for silly magics, which do not bring any value, except for the emotional attachment she gives to their use.

    el8.png

    Imdb

Like turning grapes back to sour taste, (since his dwarf companion likes those flavors), another magic to repair statues, to keep alive the rock images in the hero's squares as monuments in his honor.

    el6.png

    el7.png

    Imdb

Another magic to create a flower garden, to decorate cemeteries or statues of her friends.

Among others she uses, because she does it out of emotional attachment to her former partners.

Undoubtedly the series presents us with this change of personality, from a cold and emotionless girl, to "now it hurts me that my companions are no longer here and I will do everything possible to keep their memories in this world".

In itself the series meets a high level of entertaining and I say this at the level of emotional plot.

    tenor

So if you are looking for a series to purify the soul just start watching the continuous episodes one after another in marathon mode, and you will feel that your afternoon of watching series, fulfills the goal that fills your heart.
