They say there are two groups of people in the world the Marvel fans and those who don't like it much, for many years even though I didn't consider myself a "fan" I enjoyed watching Marvel movies too much, to the point that when a new one was coming out I would go back and watch some that were going to be related, but I got that far, I didn't know anything about the comics. So I've unlocked a third group, those of us who love Marvel, but don't obsess over it.

It was something that not only entertained me but that I really liked, but for nobody is a secret that many of the movies that came out after "end game", were not what they used to be, and I'm not saying that because the actors that we were used to see stopped appearing, but somehow the movies lost some quality and add a lot of things that I consider that were very necessary.

But that's just my opinion and I do not seek with it to offend anyone, the fact is that I was a little disappointed because what I liked so much I saw how it lost quality. However, things changed completely when I saw this movie that I am here to tell you about today. I know that many people liked it and that everywhere there are a lot of positive comments about it, but I also want to tell you my opinion.

Dicen que hay dos grupos de personas en el mundo los fans de Marvel y los que no les gusta mucho, durante muchos años aunque no me consideraba "fan" disfrutaba demasiado de ver las películas de Marvel, al punto de que cuando iba a salir una nueva volvía a ver algunas que iban a estar relacionadas, pero llegaba hasta ahí, no sabía nada de los cómics. Así quehe desbloqueado un tercer grupo, los que amamos Marvel, pero no nos obsesionamos.

Era algo que no solamente me entretenía sino que de verdad me gustaba, pero para nadie es un secreto que muchas de las películas que salieron luego de "end game", no fueron lo que solían ser, y no lo digo porque los actores a los que estábamos acostumbrados a ver dejaron de aparecer, si no que de alguna manera las películas perdieron algo de calidad y agregar un montón de cosas que considero que fueron muy necesarias.

Pero esa es solo mi opinión y no busco con ella ofender a nadie, El caso es que estuve un poco decepcionada porque aquello que tanto me gustaba vi como perdía calidad. Sin embargo, las cosas cambiaron por completo cuando vi esta película de la que hoy vengo a hablarles, Ya sé que a mucha gente le gustó y que por todas partes hay un montón de comentarios positivos sobre ella, pero también quiero contarles mi opinión.

Yes, this is Guardians of the galaxy volume 3, the best Guardians of the galaxy movie and one of the last ones that have come out from Marvel so far. This movie made me feel too much, I must tell you that Guardians of the Galaxy has always been my favorite of the Marvel universe, all of them have been very well made movies and from the beginning they did an excellent job with it. The special effects, The Incredible characters and my favorite part, the soundtrack.

All this mix makes Guardians of the Galaxy a wonderful thing to watch, so no matter absolutely nothing I was waiting for this movie since years ago with a lot of anxiousness. And the truth is that I can only say that it was totally worth the wait.

The movie tells how the members of the Guardians team try to go on with their lives after the loss of Gamora, however, this time one of their members is in danger, as his memories and emotions are wearing away his soul. Rocket, who has a very different life from what he used to do, is reunited with his past and some wounds were reopened.

Sí, se trata de Guardianes de la galaxia volumen 3, la mejor película de guardianes de la galaxia y de las últimas que han salido de Marvel hasta ahora. Esta película me hizo sentir demasiado, debo decirles que Guardianes de la galaxia siempre fue mis favoritos del universo Marvel, todas ellas han sido películas muy bien hechas y que desde el principio se hizo un excelente trabajo con ella. Los efectos especiales, Los Increíbles personajes y mi parte favorita, la banda sonora.

Todo esta mezcla silla de Guardianes de la galaxia algo maravilloso de ver, así que sin importar absolutamente nada Yo estaba esperando esta película desde hace años con muchas ansias. Y la verdad es que no puedo más que decir que valió totalmente la pena la espera.

La película cuenta como los miembros del equipo de los guardianes intenta seguir con su vida luego de la pérdida de Gamora, sin embargo, esta vez uno de sus miembros se encuentra en peligro, la vez de que sus recuerdos y emociones le van desgastando el alma. Rocket quien tiene una vida muy distinta a lo que solía hacer se reencuentra con su pasado y en el algunas heridas fueron reabiertas.

So the team must unite to fight against a new threat, the stormy memories of a really tough past. In it they will face off against really powerful creatures in which everyone's life will be at stake. And I put this part, we can't help but feel those same wounds when watching the movie.

The plot of this movie is simply different from what I had seen in Marvel, it is true that most of these characters have a somewhat murky past and with wounds that shaped them in some way. For me these wounds were too many, they touched a sensitive point in me and therefore I spent the movie too sensitive.

The soundtrack that they used for this specific movie, made everyone feel a little more and I think that in part, gave the special touch for the story of Rocket to reach us to the depths. And precisely through them we could understand a little more what each of the characters were feeling.

Así que el equipo debe unirse para luchar contra una nueva amenaza, los recuerdos tormentosos de un pasado realmente duro. En él se enfrentarán contra criaturas realmente poderosas en la que la vida de todos estará en juego. Y pongo esta parte, no podremos evitar sentir esas mismas esas mismas heridas al ver la película.

La trama de está película simplemente diferente a lo que había visto en Marvel, es cierto que la mayoría de esos personajes tienen un pasado algo turbio y con heridas que los formaron de alguna manera. Por estas heridas para mí fueron demasiadas, tocaron un punto sensible en mi y por ende pasé la película demasiado sensible.

La banda sonora que utilizaron para esta película en específico, hizo que todos se sintiera un poco más y creo que en parte, le dio el toque especial para que la historia de Rocket nos llegara hasta lo más profundo. Y precisamente mediante ellas podíamos comprender un poco más lo que estaba sintiendo cada uno de los personajes.

From my point of view this movie was really hard to watch, as I said before it touched a sensitive subject for me, I think nothing affects me more than seeing how innocent beings like animals are mistreated, there is something in me that I can't explain but just seeing something like that turns something in my stomach, so watching this movie hurt me a little.

Knowing Rocket's story had a big impact on me, this was always one of my favorite characters, but now it's even more so. It perfectly explains his backstory the reason why he is the way he is, far from everything how hard it could be for the guardians to deal with his strong personality, he had compelling reasons to have forged the personality he had.

The movie hits, "hurts" and "burns" because it's also quite graphic and I think that somehow makes you feel it more. But despite all the pain I could experience watching this movie, I liked its message too much, and I think it ended perfectly, that is to say that I was satisfied with Guardians of the Galaxy saying goodbye.

Desde mi punto de vista esta película fue realmente dura de ver, como dije antes tocaba un tema sensible para mí, creo que nada me afecta más que ver como seres inocentes como lo son los animales son maltratados, hay algo en mí que no puedo explicar pero solo ver algo así se me revuelve algo en el estómago, así que ver esta película me dolió un poco.

Conocer la historia de Rocket me impactó mucho, este siempre fue uno de mis personajes favoritos, pero ahora lo es más. Explica perfectamente su historia la razón por la que es de la manera que es, lejos de todo lo difícil que podría ser para los guardianes lidiar con su personalidad tan fuerte, tenía razones de peso para haber forjado la personalidad que tenía.

La película impacta, "duele" y "quema", porque es también bastante grafica y creo que eso de alguna manera hace que la sientas más. Pero pese a todo el dolor que pude experimentar al ver Esta película, me gustó su mensaje demasiado, y creo que terminó perfectamente, es decir que quedé satisfecha con que guardianes de la galaxia dijeran adiós.

I have thousands of things to take out of this movie, but I will not talk about all of them, I will concentrate on the ones that I consider that were most shocking for me and that I will certainly remember for a long time. To begin with animal abuse, there are many things that are wrong in this world, none of them can be changed by human beings, but one of the things that hurts me the most is that innocent beings pay the price for human mistakes.

Animals within their instinctive nature, only make us clear the love that our creator has for each of us, this naturally make us happy life, in fact it is the reason why there are so many emotional support animals lately, no doubt, are too beautiful and also give us lessons, despite not speak, or think. So it hurts that so many people hurt them and sometimes on purpose.

This film makes us see from a different point of view, the damage that causes an animal to be treated mercilessly, for selfish or unnecessary reasons. So somehow it motivates us to take care of animals whether they are our pets or not, taking care of them not only implies not to harm them but also not to support those who do it.

Tengo miles de cosas que sacar de esta película, pero no hablaré de todas ellas, voy a concentrarme en las que considero que fueron más impactantes para mí y que sin duda recordaré un buen rato. Para comenzar el maltrato animal, hay muchas cosas que están mal en este mundo, ninguna de ellas puede ser cambiada por el ser humano, pero una de las que más me duele es que seres inocentes paguen el precio de errores humanos.

Los animales dentro de su naturaleza instintiva, solo nos dejan claro el amor que tiene nuestro creador por cada uno de nosotros, esto de manera natural nos alegran la vida, de hecho es la razón por la que hay tantos animales de apoyo emocional últimamente, sin duda, son demasiado hermosos y además nos dan lecciones, pese a no hablar,ni pensar. Por lo que duele que tantas personas les hagan daño y a veces a propósito.

Esta película nos hace ver desde un punto de vista diferente, el daño que causa un animal ser tratado sin piedad, por razones egoístas o innecesarias. Así que de alguna manera nos motiva a cuidar de los animales sean estos nuestras mascotas o no, cuidarlo no solo implica no hacerles daño sino, no apoyar a quien lo hace.

I love that in this movie we can see characters with different personalities, none of them easy, however they look for a way to make the relationship work, and personally I think that what unites them the most is that they understand each other's pain.

Everyone has gone through different things and we can apply it to us, we all go through a lot and sometimes this may prevent us from making friends, but the film makes us see that even if we have traumas, a lot of emotional pain, there will be people who understand us, or who are by our side when we have a hard time, even if they are very different from us.

This movie marked me in a way that I can't explain with words, I cried practically the whole movie and even so, I liked it too much. However, I cried because it is a subject that hurts me, the truth is that the movie is full of funny scenes and a lot of action, so it has a lot more than sadness, and I can't do more than recommend it a lot of times.

Otra parte esta película trato de una manera hermosa lo que es la verdadera amistad, me encanta que en ella podemos ver a personajes con distintas personalidades, ninguna de ellas fácil, sin embargo buscan la manera de que la relación entre todos funcione, y personalmente pienso que lo que más los une es que entienden el dolor del otro.

Todos han pasado por diferentes cosas y podemos aplicarlo a nosotros, todos pasamos por mucho y a veces esto puede que nos impida hacer amigos, pero la película nos hace ver, tengamos traumas, muchos dolores emocionales, habrá personas que nos entiendan, o que estén a nuestro lado cuando la pasamos mal, aun cuando sean muy diferentes a nosotros.

Esta película me marcó de una manerque no puedo explicar con palabras, lloré prácticamente toda la película y aun así, me gustó demasiado. Sin embargo, lloré porque es un tema que me duele, la verdad es que la película está llena de escenas divertidas y de mucha acción, así que tiene mucho más que tristeza, y no puedo hacer más que recomendarselas un montón de veces.

Espero que les haya gustado mi publicación, y que puedan animarse aer esta gran peli, hasta pronto amigos, nos leeremos la próxima ocasión.

Hello dear internet people! I hope you are well, today I would like to join to another interesting contest of our friends from @cinetv and talk about my favorite space movie, As you know, I'm also a big fan of superhero movies and especially Marvel movies, so for this contest I decided to choose "Guardians of the Galaxy" as my favorite since I never get tired of watching it, it has a dose of fun and adventure that I love. Guardians of the Galaxy is a 2014 Marvel Studios film directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket. I must say that it is one of my favorite Marvel movies, not only the performances of the actors are very good, it is also very funny and the characters are incredible.

Guardianes de la Galaxia es una película estrenada en el 2014 por Marvel Studios, dirigida por James Gunn y protagonizada por Chris Pratt como Peter Quill, Zoe Saldaña como Gamora, Dave Bautista como Drax, Vin Diesel como Groot y Bradley Cooper como Rocket. Debo decir que es de mis peliculas favoritas de Marvel, no sólo las actuaciones de los actores son muy buenas, también es muy divertida y los personajes son increibles.

I would say that my favorite character is Peter Quill, since he seems to me to be a well-developed character, despite his difficult childhood he seems quite cheerful, rebellious and humorous. He also makes me laugh a lot in the scene where he enters a dark chamber on a planet and starts dancing before being attacked by lizards with sharp teeth and he grabs one to use as a microphone. For me he is one of the funniest characters in all of Marvel, I also like his optimism and that he never loses motivation, I would say that he is the soul of the team.

Diría que mi personaje favorito es Peter Quill, ya que me parece un personaje bien desarrollado, a pesar de su difícil infancia me parece bastante alegre, rebelde y jocoso. También me hace reír mucho en la escena en la que entra a una cámara oscura en un planeta y comienza a bailar antes de ser atacado por lagartos con dientes afilados y toma uno para usarlo de micrófono. Para mi es uno de los personajes más graciosos de todo Marvel, me gusta también su optimismo y que nunca pierde la motivación, diría que es el alma del equipo.

I also like this movie is that it was innovative, this time we saw totally new characters since in others like the Avengers, we already knew some characters from before. I also like that they all make a good team, Star Lord has leadership qualities, he always thinks that he can overcome any obstacle and he is a good man with a big heart. I also like Gamora, the one who seeks to redeem herself from her past crimes I liked a lot and personally the rivalry that exists between her and her sister Nebula made me laugh, since both are totally different and although both were raised and trained by Thanos for me, Nebula has always been more evil than Gamora.

También me gusta de esta pelicula es que fué innovadora, esta vez vimos personajes totalmente nuevos ya que en otras como la de los Vengadores, ya conociamos a algunos personajes de antes. También me gusta que todos hacen buen equipo, Star Lord tiene cualidades de líder, siempre piensa que puede vencer cualquier obstáculo y es un buen hombre con un gran corazón. Gamora también me cae bien, el que busque redimirse de sus pasados crímenes me gustó mucho y en lo personal la rivalidad que existe entre ella y su hermana Nébula me hizo reír, ya que ambas son totalmente distintas y aunque ambas fueron criadas y entrenadas por Thanos, para mí Nébula siempre ha sido mas malvada que Gamora.

The soundtrack of the movie is also very good, Peter Quill's walkman would say that it is full of songs from the 60s and 70s since for me that musical era is very iconic and unique, that's why I must say that the soundtrack made the movie I would like it much more, especially "I Want You Back" by The Jacksons 5. The soundtrack is very peculiar and one of the best I've heard in a long time, and although I have it on digital at the moment, I hope to get a copy physical soon.

El soundtrack de la pelicula también es muy bueno, el walkman de Peter Quill diría que está lleno de canciones de los 60 y 70 ya que para mi esa época musical es muy icónca y única, por eso debo decir que el soundtrack hizo que la pelicula me gustara mucho más, en especial "I Want You Back" de The Jacksons 5. El soundtrack es muy peculiar y uno de los mejores que he escuchado en mucho tiempo, y aunque lo tengo en digital por el momento, espero poder conseguir una copia en físico próximamente.

The setting and special effects are also quite great, what I like most about all superhero movies is the quality of the effects they use, also the makeup of Zoe Saldaña and Karen Guillán to become Nebula and Gamora is impressive too. I cannot say that there is something that I did not like because I loved the whole movie in general, it is one of the few that makes me laugh from beginning to end, although the only scene that I did not like and makes me cry is the sacrifice of Groot to save the whole group since I also liked Groot a lot although I liked that they later recovered a branch of Groot which begins to grow and regenerate, and another scene that I really liked was when Quill opens the gift he left him his mom which is a mixtape with his favorite songs.

No puedo decir que hay algo que no me haya gustado porque toda la película en general la amé, es de las pocas que me hacen reir de principio a fin aunque, la única escena que no me gustó y me hizo llorar es la del sacrificio de Groot para salvar a todo el grupo ya que Groot también me gustó mucho aunque me gustó que luego hayan recuperado una rama de Groot la cual empieza a crecer y a regenerarse, y otra escena que me gustó mucho fué cuando Quill abre el regalo de le dejó su mamá el cual es un mixtape con sus canciones favoritas.

The first time I saw this movie was at the cinema in the company of my dad, since whenever a new one comes out it is already a tradition to go see them at the cinema. Also the sequel is incredible so I would recommend the complete bilogy hahaha I can't wait for the third part to be released which is in development, I have great expectations since the character of Thor will come out which is one of my favorite Marvel heroes, although the wait is still long because it will be released in 2023, I know it will be worth the wait because the result is always great, and I am very happy to always be able to enjoy them either with my father or my whole family.

La primera vez que ví esta pelicula fué en cine en compañía de mi papá, ya que siempre que sale una nueva ya es tradición irlas a ver al cine. También la secuela es increible así que les recomendaría la bilogía completa jajaja no puedo esperar a que se estrene la tercera parte la cual está en desarrollo, tengo grandes espectativas ya que saldrá el personaje de Thor el cual es de mis héroes de Marvel favoritos, aunque todavía la espera es larga porque se estrenará en 2023 se que valdrá la pena la espera porque el resultado siempre es genial, y estoy muy feliz de siempre poder disfrutarlas ya sea con mi padre o mi familia completa.

Welcome to the Marvel movie with the best soundtrack of them all. Seriously, I have listened to it over and over again and I still love it. Each song is a gem from the past. Other movies tries to copy the idea, but lightning never strikes twice, not even for the sequel. Now for the movie itself Guardians of the Galaxy was directed by James Gunn, he is also one of the writers of the movie along with Nicole Perlman. This movie was released in August 2014, it has been awhile, but generally, even back than Marvel did not release movies in August. August is a wild card month and Marvel had no idea what the audience will think of the movie. But they and I loved it. This movie is funny, touching, and does not take itself too seriously. It is very unique in the Marvel scenery. Plus it is the first Marvel movie in space, which lay down the foundation of how space looks like in the MCU. And there is an infinity stone, because it's time for another one of those. Still a great movie though.

Also, this is a spoiler warning for all Marvel movies.

This movie has a really good and unlikely cast. Chris Pratt plays Peter Quill, the only human in the movie. Zoe Saldana plays Gamora, boy do movie directors love to paint her in strange colors to make her an alien. Gamora is Thanos' favorite daughter, so that is our general MCU connection. Dave Bautista a former wrestler plays Drax, an alien who wants to avenge the death of his wife and daughter. Bradley Cooper voices Rocket, a raccoon who has been experiment on and is now super-smart. Vin Diesel voices Groot, an adorable tree that can only say "I am Groot". These are our core Guardians. Then we have Lee Pace who plays Ronan who wants to destroy Xandar because of Kree reasons. He enlists the help of Thanos for that. We get our first small glimpse of Josh Brolin's excellent performance as Thanos. Karen Gillan plays Nebula, also a daughter of Thanos who hates her sister and Thanos. Michael Rooker plays Yondu Udonta, Quill's adoptive father and part of the Ravagers, an intergalactic thieving organization. Sean Gunn also plays a Ravagers, and does the motion capture of Rocket. He is also the brother of the director. Glenn Close is the leader of Xandar and obligatory serious actress in a Marvel movie. And Benicio Del Toro as promised plays the The Collector who collects rare and precious items from around the universe. We've seen him in the post credit scene in Thor: The Dark World. All of the actors are pretty good, I don't feel that anyone stands out, but no one is particularly terrible as well. Decent acting all around.

Music is super important in this movie. The movie starts with young Quill sitting in a hospital waiting room listening to "I'm Not in Love" on his Walkman. We see that the tape, like the soundtrack of this movie is called Awesome Mix Vol 1. His mother made him this tape, sharing her favorite music with him. She's dying from cancer. He has a hard time accepting her condition. He is given a present and a letter from her which he doesn't take, but luckily someone places it in his bag. She tells him about his angel father that will come and get him soon. We all know that he was no angel, though he is a Celestial. Quill refuses to take his dying mother's hand and then she dies. He screams and when Quill is told to wait outside of the room he runs outside of the hospital. Then the Ravagers kidnap him. The joy. Quill just can't catch a break, he goes from one significant trauma to the next.

Then we switch to the famous stealing of the Orb scene. The scene that looks so cool here, when Quill just dances and walks to "Come and Get Your Love". Kicking aliens and using them as a microphone. It looks totally awesome here. It looks ridicules in Avengers: Endgame when we look at it from the side, but it is still totally awesome here. He finds and gets the Orb and immediately gets attacked by Ronan's men lead by Korath (Djimon Hounsou). We already saw him in Captain Marvel. Quill really wants to be known as Star-Lord, but for now, no one knows that name, especially not Korath. Still, Quill manages to escape very creatively. While forgetting he was a woman onboard his ship. She unwisely answers a call from Yondu who also wants the Orb, they were supposed to steal it together. They have a very funny exchange in which Yondu reminds Quill that he stopped the Ravagers from eating him, that's just terrible. Quill has now gotten himself into serious trouble with the Ravagers.

Then we switch to the Dark Aster. Ronan is on it doing some ceremony which leads him to his new and improved look. He looks much better here than he did in Captain Marvel. Basically Ronan wants to wipeout all of Xandar, it sounds like the Xandarian killed his family, but I am not sure that I believe him. I guess that is not important. Ronan puts the blood of a dead Xandarian on his face. Hardcore crazy stuff. Korath returns to him empty handed. Ronan must give the Orb to Thanos in order for Thanos to destroy Xandar for him. Thanos still hasn't learn from New-York that letting others do his work for him doesn't really work. Ronan asks Nebula to get the Orb from Xandar, but Gamora intervenes and she goes instead. She never fails. She doesn't. She just has a different plan. Ronan is just crazy and stupid, he has no idea he is after a stone.

We get our introduction to Rocket and Groot. They are looking at Xandarians trying to find someone with a bounty on his head. Well, Rocket is looking while Groot is drinking water from a fountain. They locate Quill. Quill wants to sell the Orb, but the buyer backs out of the deal as soon as he finds out that Ronan is after it as well. Gamora is waiting outside the door and steals the Orb from Quill. They start fighting and try to steal it from one another. Then Groot and Rocket try and kidnap Quill. This is hilarious. Groot kidnaps Gamora instead of Quill. He cries after Gamora cuts his hands off. They will grow back. They all shoot at each other until they all get arrested. You shouldn't stay in the same place for so long if you commit a crime. We get a small introduction to each character when they are in custody and they each get inspected. But they are all sent to jail.

The prison part is pretty cool especially the prison break sequence. Rocket did escape 22 prisons before he got arrested this time. It was also pretty cool that Quill got beaten by security guards to the sound of "Hooked on a Feeling". An unusual choice that worked. Also, we had an obligatory hot guy without his shirt on from Quill after he gets a disgusting shower. Rocket makes sure with Groot that no one messes with them and Quill in prison. It's not fun when Groot grows branches into your nose (Nathan Fillion in a cool CGI cameo). In prison everyone hates Gamora because Ronan killed so many people's families. Drax the Destroyer is the one who wants to have the pleasure of killing her. Gamora proves that she's a tough warrior and disarms him and another person in one move, but then she drops her weapons on purpose. Her attempts to reason with them fail. But Quill decides to be a good guy for once and intervenes. Quill explains that it's best to leave Gamora alive in order to get to Ronan. He is right. Also Drax does not understand any figure of speech, which is hilarious. Then they realize that the Orb is worth a hell lot more than Quill and decide to change their plans. She's now officially part of the team, and so is Drax, but for a different reason. Now is action mode. The prison break sequence is hilarious and brilliant. Groot is so pleased with himself that he got the battery that he doesn't care that the prison goes into emergency mode. But still, Rocket's brilliant plan works and they fly away to Quill's ship inside the head of the security guard's tower. No gravity for anyone but them. It was a brilliant plan. Also Quill's ship is called the Milano, I guess after Alyssa Milano. She was super popular way back then, even The Little Mermaid was modeled after her. The jail break was fantastic, so much action and so much humor.

Also, Quill stays behind to steal the Walkman back from the alien. Now the alien gets his ass kicked to the sound of the "The Piña Colada Song". If you like Piña Colada and getting songs stuck in your head. But even Drax thinks Quill is an idiot for doing that. They don't understand the emotional importance of the Walkman.

Then the Guardians go off to Nowhere to sell the Orb. The Collector is their buyer. Not a great plan. He already has the Reality Stone. Nowhere is the first time we hear a reference to the Celestials. On Nowhere they are forced to wait for the Collector's representative. Drax and Rocket drink and gamble on some game. Gamora and Quill have a heart to heart. Gamora tells Quill that Thanos killed her parents in front of her, but in Avengers: Infinity War we see that she lost her mother before the great carnage and that Thanos made her not look. That's a small, but annoying inconsistency. Quill tells Gamora about the Walkman and his mother. She tells him that she does not dance and he tells her about the legend of "Footloose". He lets her listen to a song on the Walkman and it happens to be "Fooled Around and Fell in Love". They dance for a bit and Gamora tries to kill Quill when he tries to kiss her. She shall not succumb to his "Pelvic Sorcery". I have never heard a funnier words used to describe hitting on someone. There is also drama between Rocket and Drax. Rocket is angry that everyone calls him names and disrespect him. He is a hurt little fluffy dude. It all ends when the representative arrives. Drax leaves and doesn't join them. The Collector tells them the entire story of the infinity stones for us, they don't care, they want their money. We need the background information. The important detail is that no one can touch the stone and live, well, no mortal can touch the power stone and live. Which is what the Collector's slave does and the entire place explodes. This is not a good sale.

Then things get worse on Nowhere as Ronan arrives. Because idiot Drax sent him a message because he wants to fight against him. I get it that Ronan killed his wife and daughter, but he has no brain cells. To top it all off, Yondu and the Ravagers arrive. Ronan defeats Drax without a problem. All of the Guardians lose and Ronan gets the Orb. Quill risks his life to save Gamora after Nebula blows her pod to pieces. It is a great scene. Still, Quill and Gamora end up with the Ravager who want to kill them. But Quill manages to convince them to steal the Orb back and sell it. Rocket, Groot and Drax also join in after they try to destroy the Ravagers ship. Also, not a great plan. But they are the only friends that any of them had in a really long time. They gather together and Quill explains that they have to steal the Orb. Quill has a great speech about all of them being losers who now have a rare opportunity. Now they are all friends who are willing to die for one another. Or as Rocket says, a bunch of idiots standing in a circle. But Quill comes up with a plan, a terrible plan, but a plan. That's something. A plan to steal the Orb from Ronan, save Xandar and make lots of money.

Thanos is not happy with Ronan. Gamora has been captured. He has failed to retrieve the Orb and according to Thanos he alienated his favorite daughter Gamora. Thanos wants that Orb. Everything else is not important. After Ronan gets the Orb he has no intention of giving it to Thanos, he can destroy Xandar on his own. Then he will destroy Thanos. We know that plan won't work. Nebula is on his side though, she wants Thanos dead. That is one step closer to redemption. Just not necessarily a straight step.

Ronan doesn't know that the Guardians are coming to stop his plan to destroy Xandar. The Guardians plan almost works. We get to see cool action with all of the fighting and shooting, like Gamora fighting against Nebula and some of what we see is hilarious like Groot going through people with that childlike pleased smile. Xandar has no chance without the Guardians, I mean Ronan used the stone to destroy all of their spaceships as they tried to stop him from reaching the ground. The gang reach all the way to Ronan and shoot him with a weapon that Rocket has created a few hours ago to blow up the Ravagers' ship. I guess that the stone inside of the hammer somehow protects him. He survived that blast without a scratch. The Guardians are saved by Rocket flying his spaceship straight into Ronan. This causes the entire spaceship to come crashing down. Groot then grows himself all around his friends to create a protective layer. When Rocket says that that will kill him, he simply replies "we are Groot". His new friends are worth dying for. It is such a touching scene and beautiful. They survive the crash thanks to Groot so. You can call the plan a failure.

But, sometimes you don’t need a plan, you need good improvisation. The dance-off to save the universe. Ronan survived the stupid crash. In fact he names the losers the Guardians of the Galaxy. Quill dances and asks Ronan to join him in a dance-off, distracting him. This time the Guardians get it right and they don't shoot Ronan, but the hammer that holds the stone. Quill grabs the stone. He starts to disintegrate, so Gamora asks him to take her hand to share the power. In his mind he sees his mother asking him to take her hand, this time he does take her hand. That is some closure for his relationship with his mother. Then the rest join him and they manage to stabilize. So they use the power to destroy Ronan. Mission accomplished.

It's not over yet. Yondu still wants the Orb with the stone. So Quill gives him the wrong Orb and gives the stone to the nova-corps so they can keep it safe. Well, we already know that they can't, but for now it is a happy ending. In thanks Quill get an almost exact replica of the Milano. It's pretty cool. Yondu and his friend comment that they are glad that they didn’t give Quill to his father like they were supposed to, because he was a jackass. That is an understatement for another movie. The clue that we get is that we find out that Quill's father is something ancient. But, now that he has closure with his mother he can take the next step. So he opens the letter that she wrote him so long ago. She is the one who named him Star-Lord. He puts in the new tape that she made him and listens to the new music. At last Gamora dances on her own to the new song. Rocket has a branch of Groot in a flower pot to grow him. Drax comment that it is really Thanos that he should kill in revenge for his wife and daughter. Not a thick hint that Thanos is a big bad at all. For now Star-Lord is the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy who are his new family.

The mid-credit scene is dancing baby Groot. Dancing to "I Want You Back". It is just super cute. Baby Groot is adorable. No wonder no one want him to grow. Post credit-scene is terrible and includes Howard the Duck. I'm glad Marvel forgot about that one.

It is such a fun movie. A bunch of criminal losers coming together to save the galaxy. The dialogue is witty and funny. So many great jokes. Rocket has so much sarcastic humor. This movie also has a tone of pop culture references from the 80s that it is incredible, I think I only caught like half of it as more of a 90s person. But most importantly this movie deals with loss and alternative families. The Guardians aren't just Guardians, they are each other's new family. They lost everyone else, but found each other. Despite the fact that they are all different, they managed to find what connects them. On a side note, I talked about the amazing soundtrack, but this movie also has a brilliant score. The theme music for the guardians is so awesome and full of energy. It all makes the movie fun, not too serious, but touching nonetheless.

There are a few downsides to this movie. Mostly Ronan. He is such a paper villain. No reasonable motive, no background story, he is just there to be stopped. Like Thanos said, it is boring. We barely get any Thanos here which sucks. Also, the characters are super fun, but mostly they are one dimensional. But the movie makes it work and makes us care for them.

Despite the downsides, it is just a great and fun movie.

Despite its heavily positive appraisal, Guardians of the Galaxy is a film that I simply cannot stand for a numerous set of reasons. I see it as the breaking point in which superhero and comicbook films decided to dumb down and inject a silly amount of comedy to appeal to a wider audience.

Although I dislike the film, I admit its creative introduction in which the protagonist dances with his actions in sync with the beat of Get Your Love by Redbone is entertaining; not only that, but it does well as a method of introducing said protagonist and his character. Unfortunately, once that ends, the rest of the character introduction and narrative is a complete bore.

As is with most comicbook characters, none of them are particularly interesting or likeable. They're each crooks in a different field, which obviously means that each one brings something new to the group and that's what makes them great, or so that's how you should perceive it. Personally, I think it's just poor storytelling. The characters are boring, and really have nothing to make the viewer care for them. It seems lacklustre, almost lazy.

In addition to the poor storytelling and characters, there's very little to them outside of their almost quirky narratives. Each character is supposedly different, yet they all have the same monotone style of humour; it's awkward, often unfunny, and as always doesn't hold any substance within the narrative. I can compare it to the likes of the familiar laugh track you'd find in sitcoms, to remind you that something was supposedly funny and that's where you should laugh.

Guardians of the Galaxy is so unaware of its poor storytelling that its conclusion is rushed into quite literally a dance-off for comedic purposes and lack of actual narrative. There is no ultimate conclusion because the thrill and challenge never really felt like it existed. It was rushed and bundled into its attempts of comedy, pop-culture references and nostalgia. The film can easily be referred to as one that you'd watch with your brain 'turned off', and then some. You could stop watching for thirty minutes and still feel as if nothing important was missed.

Today I selected the movie Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) for the daily movie recommendation which is directed by James Gunn who made also Slither (2006) and Super (2010) which I have seen being a low budget movie about super heroes something like Deadpool but with a 23 times smaller budget which seemed to me pretty good. The first part of Guardians of the Galaxy I liked very much being an adventure movie with funny characters and a good plot compared to the second part which it was terrible at this topic. Let's get started and see why I liked this movie and I'll explain a few things about it.

The movie begins in 1988 with Peter Quill which is abducted by a spacecraft after losing his mother at a young age and is raised by Yondu Udonta considering him his father who was also the one who abducted him. Yondu Udonta gave to Peter Quill a assignment to find an valuable orb on the surface of the dead planet Morag, and when Peter Quill finds the orb he decides to betray Yondu Udonta who after realizing this put a bounty on Peter Quill's head.

A genocidal villain Ronan wants the orb for his boss Thanos and sends Gamora to steal the orb from Peter Quill which is also known as Star-Lord.

Peter Quill(Star-Lord) he gets locked up in a high security prison by name The Klyn being caught by Nova Corps the place where he starts to get to know better the partners of his team and they are Gamora, Rocket, Drax and Groot which will be called Guardians of the Galaxy.

Is an adventure that makes you feel good due too the funny characters among which is Rocket which is my favorite from the first part being the character that made me laugh the most. The special effects are also of high quality making this movie to be one of the most enjoyable movies which has a special humor and an appealing story combined with action is the ideal recipe for a have fun movie and I recommend it to everyone who wants to see something funny. I'm curious about your opinions,also don't forget to request the movie genre which you like to be recommended for tomorrow.
