🎄 Plot / Trama 🎄

When the McCallister family plans to travel to Miami for the Christmas holidays, Kevin this time ends up not just at home, but lost in New York City when he accidentally takes the wrong flight while separating from his family to put new batteries in his tape recorder and then follow a man dressed just like his father believing it was him. Once he arrives in the city, Kevin dedicates himself to visiting the city and ends up staying at the Plaza Hotel using his father's credit card. On the other hand, thieves Harry and Marv, after escaping from prison for trying to rob Kevin's house last year, also end up going to New York to plan a new robbery so they can leave the country. Kevin and the thieves will meet again at a toy store whose owner plans to donate all the Christmas profits to a hospital, and as the thieves plan to rob the toy store, Kevin will use his ingenuity to save the toy store from being robbed. After all this, Kevin reconciles with his mother because she traveled to look for him and finds him in front of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, and then with his family the next morning.

Por otro lado, los ladrones Harry y Marv luego de escapar de prisión por haber intentado robar la casa de Kevin el año pasado también terminan yendo a Nueva York para planear un nuevo robo para así poder irse del país. Kevin y los ladrones se reencontrarán nuevamente en una juguetería cuyo dueño planea donar todas las ganancias navideñas a un hospital, y como los ladrones planean robar la juguetería, Kevin utilizará su ingenio para salvar la juguetería de ser robada. Luego de todo esto, Kevin se reconcilia con su madre ya que ella viajó para buscarlo y lo encuentra frente al árbol de navidad de Rockefeller Center, y luego con su familia la mañana siguiente.

🎄 My Opinion / Mi Opinión 🎄

As you know, the first film is an unbeatable classic during the Christmas season and obviously this one is not far behind either. The first time I saw it many years ago I was very entertained, I find it quite funny and enjoyable as a family. Although I consider that the first movie is a little better, I like this one a lot, the story, although it's a little simple, is quite good and with a nice message that teaches us that we should not judge a book by its cover, and I really liked the work of the actors in general because they give a very good development to each character and I like that the actors from the first installment have returned because I love how the actors who give life to the thieves work because they are funny in themselves, and I really liked seeing Macaulay Culkin back because he is one of my favorite actors and it seemed very peculiar to me that the magnate Donald Trump also appeared in the movie.

Como saben, la primera película es un clásico impelable en temporada navideña y obviamente esta tampoco se queda atrás. La primera vez que la vi hace bastante años atrás me entretuve mucho, me parece bastante graciosa y disfrutable en familia. Aunque considero que la primera película es un poco mejor, esta me gusta bastante, la historia aunque es un poco simple es bastante buena y con un lindo mensaje que nos enseña a que no debemos juzgar a un libro por su cubierta, y el trabajo en general de los actores me gustó mucho ya que le dan un desarrollo buenísimo a cada personaje y me gusta que hayan regresado los actores de la primera entrega ya que me encanta como trabajan los actores que dan vida a los ladrones ya que de por sí son graciosos, y me gustó mucho ver a Macaulay Culkin de vuelta ya que es de mis actores favoritos, y me pareció muy peculiar que el magnate Donald Trump también apareciera en la película.

The photography seems very good to me, and it has a fairly wide color palette that works very well. There are many scenes that I like, however my favorites are undoubtedly the trap scenes because, obviously, they are what makes me laugh the most, especially the trap with the television and the machine gun which can be seen in the part where part of the hotel staff chases Kevin towards the room and he turns on the television where a gangster movie was being broadcast, and he makes his pursuers believe that the person on TV was shooting at them, so they flee in terror, throwing themselves on the floor at the door, I confess that no matter how many times I watch the movie, that scene always makes me laugh. I really like the way in which Macaulay Culkin plays Kevin in such a wonderful way, demonstrating his talent from a young age, so I'm glad that a few days ago, as an adult, he received his star on the hall of fame and it was quite moving that Catherine O'Hara (actress who plays his mother in the film) was present.

La fotografía me parece muy buena, y tiene una paleta de colores bastante amplia que funciona muy bien. Hay muchas escenas que me gustan sin embargo mis favoritas son sin duda las escenas de las trampas ya que, obviamente son lo que más me hace reír en especial la trampa del televisor y la metralleta la cual puede ser vista en la parte en la que parte del personal del hotel persigue a Kevin hacia la habitación y el enciende la televisión en dónde transmitían una pelicula de mafiosos, y el les hace creer a sus perseguidores que el de la tele les estaba disparando a ellos por lo que huyen despavoridos tirándose al piso en la puerta, les confieso que no importa cuantas veces mire la película, siempre me hace reír esa escena. De verdad es que me gusta mucho la manera en la que Macaulay Culkin interpreta a Kevin de una manera tan maravillosa, demostrando su talento desde jovencito así que me celebro que hace algunos dias atrás ya de adulto, haya recibido su estrella en el paseo de la fama y fue bastante conmovedor que Catherine O'Hara (actriz que personifica a su madre en la película) estuviese presente.

I also really like the movie's soundtrack, and I think it's better than the first movie hahaha, especially the song "Christmas Star" which is my favorite and John Williams' score works perfectly with the movie. To finish, I would say that like its predecessor it's an incredible film to enjoy with the family and no matter how many years pass it will never lose that fun touch that makes us enjoy it and although it's already a fairly old film, I would say that it has aged very well so I would like to recommend it to all those who have not seen it yet, I assure you that you will like it and I hope you enjoy it.

El soundtrack de la película también me gusta mucho, y me parece que es mejor al de la primera película jajaja, en especial la canción "Christmas Star" la cual es mi favorita y el score de John Williams funciona a la perfección con la película. Para terminar, diría que al igual que su predecesora es una película increíble para disfrutar en familia y no importa cuantos años pasen nunca perderá ese toque divertido que nos hace disfrutarla y aunque ya es una película bastante vieja, diría que envejeció muy bien así que me gustaría recomendarla a todos los que todavía no la han visto, les aseguro que les gustará y espero que la disfruten.

Christmas time for me is the best, because you will always find nice movies, whether they are premieres or repeat all those Christmas classics that I have been able to see throughout my childhood until today and I will never get tired of watching them, since they are very entertaining and each one presents us with something different, for me they all go to the same point of sharing with family and spend the best Christmas, also accompanied by many values that are very important. The weekend after school I was watching TV and I found a movie, which is quite old, but I have seen it several times with my family and we always spend a few pleasant hours of laughter and sharing.

The movie I am talking about is My Poor Little Angel 2: Lost in New York, it has a lot of very good actors, very interesting scenes and above all the sequence that has had all this classic, shows us something entertaining and makes us capture our attention and thus be able to enjoy the movie. Generally, Christmas time is a stressful time because you always want to leave everything to the last minute, to travel or gather the whole family together, prepare a nice meal, buy gifts and all the things related to these dates. This movie is about a big family, made up of more than 10 people, who live in one house, something that surprised me, there are a lot of them and they are going through a complicated situation, but that will not stop them to spend the best Christmas with their family.

Las fechas navideñas para mí son lo máximo, ya que siempre encontramos lindas películas, ya sean estrenos o repiten todos esos clásicos navideños que he podido ver durante toda mi infancia hasta hoy en día y nunca me cansaré de verlos, puesto que son muy entretenidas y cada una nos presenta algo distinto, para mí todas van al mismo punto del compartir en familia y pasar las mejores navidades, además acompañados de muchos valores que son muy importante. El fin de semana luego de clases estaba viendo la televisión y me encontré con una película, que es bastante vieja, pero la he visto en varias oportunidades junto a familia y siempre pasamos unas horas agradables de muchas risas y compartir.

La película de la cual les hablo es Mi pobre angelito 2: Perdió en Nueva York, cuanta con una gran cantidad de actores muy buenos, escenas muy interesantes y sobre todo la secuencia que ha tenido todo este clásico, nos muestra algo entretenido y hace que capte nuestra atención y así poder disfrutar de la película. Generalmente, las fechas de navidad son algo estresante porque uno siempre quiere dejar todo para última hora, poder viajar o reunirse toda la familia junta, preparar una rica comida, comprar regalos y todas las cosas referentes a estas fechas. Esta película se trata de una gran familia, formada por más de 10 personas, que viven en una casa, algo que me sorprendió, son muchísimos y atraviesan una situación un poco complicada, pero eso nos los detendrá para pasar las mejores Navidades en familia.

Una película muy interesante, ya que desde un principio nos mantiene atento ante cualquiera situación inesperada que pueda suceder, además de cada una de las aventuras por las que atraviesa la familia son geniales, dan mucha risa, sin embargo, a medida que se va desarrollando la película se salen un poco de descontrol y es aquí donde nos presenta la preocupación, angustia que puede tener una familia cuando uno de los miembros queda por fuera, ya sea porque no hubo una buena comunicación, un desorden o simplemente cada uno está pendiente de lo suyo, no están dispuestos a ayudar a los demás y nunca se pusieron de acuerdo con las ideas, por eso tener toda una gran familia en una sola casa, no debe ser nada bueno, debe ser un desastre.

Another aspect that I liked about this movie is where it takes place, in an expensive city and more visited at Christmas time as New York, I think being alone in a big city like that must not be pleasant, because you have no one to share, no one to talk to and above all being lost and being a minor. But for our protagonist you can tell he enjoys it and for him it was the best Christmas vacation, plus he had the freedom to do whatever he wanted and not have the worry of being scolded by someone. In addition, he shows us each of his skills and strategy to escape from a couple of thieves who have made his life impossible and especially in that place alone.

It also conveys the concern that a mother can have when one of her children is in trouble and even more so when she is a few miles away, where she will do everything possible to give him all that care, affection and love. It is here where I started to think about everything a mother goes through, she never lost hope of finding him, no matter all the things she has to do, because sooner or later she will find him.

Otros de los aspectos que me gusto de esta película es donde se desarrolla, en una ciudad cara y más visitado en las fechas de navidad como lo es Nueva York, pienso que estar solo en una gran ciudad como esa no debe ser nada agradable, porque no se tiene con quien compartir, con quien hablar y sobre todo estar perdido y ser menor de edad. Pero para nuestro protagonista se nota que disfruta y para él fueron las mejores vacaciones de navidad, además tenía la libertad de hacer lo que quisiera y no tener la preocupación de recibir un regaño por parte de alguien. Además, nos muestra cada una de sus habilidades y estrategia para escapar de un par de ladrones que le han hecho la vida imposible y sobre todo en ese lugar solo.

También transmite la preocupación que puede tener una madre cuando uno de sus hijos se encuentra en problemas y mucho más cuando a esta a unos cuantos kilómetros de distancia, donde hará todo lo posible para brindarle todo ese cuidado, cariño y amor. Es aquí donde me puse a pensar por todo la que pasa una madre, ella nunca perdió las esperanzas de encontrarlo, no importa todas las cosas que tenga que hacer, porque tarde o temprano lo encontrara.

On the other hand, those thieves, who have already been part of this great goddess saga, where each of his follies, occurrences and pranks they do, are always in trouble and can never complete their goal, however, without them this movie would not be the same, is the fun part.

Un clásico que cuenta con una gran cantidad de actores que son muy buenos, cada uno le pone ese toque especial y único durante el desarrollo de esta grandiosa película, uno de ellos es el famoso Kevin, ese tipo de joven que son tranquilos, calmados, no molestan a pesar de ser siempre el más golpeado y abandonado por todos, sin embargo, como también se las ingenia durante toda la película que es genial y de verdad que supo defenderse de los ladrones. Así mismo muestra un poco la tristeza, el dolor de no estar con su familia a pesar de todas las adversidades que tiene que pasar.

Por otro lado, esos ladrones, que ya han formado parte de esta gran diosa saga, donde cada una de sus locuras, ocurrencias y travesuras hacen, siempre están en problemas y nunca pueden completar su objetivo, sin embargo, sin ellos esta película no sería la misma, es la parte divertida.

Esta película no transmite un gran mensaje de reflexión, donde el trabajo en equipo, apoyarse unos con otros, tomar las mejores decisiones para el bien de todos, siempre será muy importante en esta vida, y para la familia, a pesar de todos los defectos que puedan tener familia es familia, en las buenas y no tan buenas. Además tenemos que querer, respetar y cuidar a todos los miembros de la familia y más en estas fechas de navidad, que son momentos de paz, tranquilidad y armonía para pasarla de maravilla.
