A couple of weeks ago, I came across this series, I read its synopsis, and I said I'm going to watch it, since I like those stories, action, mystery, suspense, and well this was the impression I got, but it turns out it wasn't like that, it didn't have any of this.
The story begins like this, a young lawyer has to take a trip, but her plane is late, so she asks a couple of men to take her in their small plane, since they are also heading to where she is going, but they have an accident, and the plane crashes on an island.
It is here that this girl, being the only survivor, must seek to survive in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature, dealing with all the complications, which arise from being there, as well as her own past problems.
Here we see a girl, who has problems with her past, her childhood, accepting the abandonment of her mother, and seeing how this affected her life both professionally and personally, she must find herself, overcoming all those fears, traumas and resentments.
More than a survival story, this series is based on showing us how we must face our problems, deal with our past, what our parents did, and how we somehow let them affect us.
At first it is a little confusing, but as it progresses, you understand what the plot is about, living in a place alone, with no one to turn to, with fear, doubts, insecurities, the mind plays with you, all those thoughts approach you, consume you, it is only up to you, if you let it paralyze you or decide to move forward.
It is a miniseries, it consists of only 6 episodes, but it is worth watching, with family, with friends, of course if you like this kind of reflective stories; I'm not going to lie, it has no action, less suspense, but as I said, it makes you reflect with certain events.
It is not a series for everyone, it has its slow parts, and the ending, well I leave it to you, so you can watch it, if you dare, Keep Breathing, this is the name of this miniseries, and in my opinion, it fits very well with the theme.
In spite of all the conflicts, of everything we lived through in the past, and we are still in the present, we must keep breathing, take it easy, be thankful for what we have, because in spite of everything we are still here, fighting, battling, looking to be better every day, that is the idea of Keep Breathing.
I invite you to watch it, it's short, simple, I'm not saying it's one of the best, it's a miniseries to watch once, or several times if you want to remember the message it conveys, it's up to each one's taste.
It had good performances, starting with the protagonist, although I did not feel a connection with her at the beginning, you understand and grasp a little of what it's all about, and what they want to reflect this short but interesting story.

Son esas historias que te encuentras, y dices suena interesante, voy a verla, pero resulta que no es como te lo imaginaste, sin embargo, de igual forma te da curiosidad, y deseas saber como terminar, ¿les ha pasado?
Hace un par de semanas, me encontré con esta serie, leí su sinopsis, y dije voy a verla, ya que me gustan esas historias, de acción, misterio, suspenso, y bueno esta fue la impresión que me dio, pero resulta que no fue asi, no tenía nada de esto.
La historia comienza asi, una joven abogada debe realizar un viaje, pero su avión se atrasó, por lo que le pide a un par de hombres que la lleven en su avioneta, puesto que ellos también se dirigen hacia donde ella va, pero sufren un accidente, y la avioneta se estrella en una isla.
Es aquí donde esta chica, siendo la única sobreviviente, debe buscar sobrevivir en el medio de la nada, rodeada de la naturaleza, lidiando con todas las complicaciones, que surgen al estar allí, asi como con sus propios problemas del pasado.
Aquí vemos una chica, que tiene problemas con su pasado, su niñez, el aceptar el abandono de su madre, y ver como esto le afecto su vida tanto profesional como personal, debe encontrarse consigo misma, superando todos esos miedos, traumas y rencores.
Más que una historia de supervivencia, esta serie se basa en mostrarnos de como debemos enfrentar nuestros problemas, de lidiar con nuestro pasado, lo que hicieron nuestros padres, y como de alguna forma dejamos que nos afecten.
Al principio es un poco confusa, pero a medida que va avanzando, vas entendiendo de que se trata la trama, vivir en lugar sola, sin tener a quien recurrir, con miedo, dudas, inseguridades, la mente juega contigo, todos esos pensamientos te abordan, te consumen, solo queda en ti, si dejas que te paralice o decides avanzar.
Es una miniserie, consta de tan solo 6 episodios, pero vale la pena verla, en familia, con amigos, claro si les gustan este tipo de historias reflexivas; no les voy a mentir, de acción no tiene nada, suspenso menos, pero como dije, te hace reflexionar con ciertos eventos.
No es una serie para todo el mundo, tiene sus partes lentas, y el final, bueno se los dejo a ustedes, para que lo vean, si se animan, Sigue Respirando, este es el nombre de esta miniserie, y a mi parecer, concuerda muy bien con el tema.
A pesar de todos los conflictos, de todo lo que vivimos en el pasado, y seguimos en el presente, debemos seguir respirando, tomarlo con calma, agradecer por lo que tenemos, porque a pesar de todo aún seguimos aquí, luchando, batallando, buscando ser mejores cada día, esa es la idea, de Seguir Respirando.
Los invito a que la vean, es corta, sencilla, no digo que sea una de las mejores, es una miniserie para ver una vez, o varias si quieres recordar un poco el mensaje que transmite, es a gusto de cada quien.
Contó con buenas actuaciones, empezando por la protagonista, aunque no sentí conexión al principio con ella, de igual forma, vas entendiendo y captando un poco de que se trata todo, y de lo que nos quieren reflejar esta corta pero interesante historia.
