Long Shot is a romantic comedy with 2hours 5mins run time. A movie directed by Jonathan Levine, written by Dan Sterling and Liz Hannah. It starred great actors like Seth Roger, Charlize Theron, O'shea Jackson Jr, June Diane Bob Odenkirk and many others. The movie is about a journalist (Seth Rogen) who reunites with his former baby sitter and crush (Charlize Theron) now the United States secretary of state.

Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogen) is a smart and risk taking journalist who puts all in to get a good job done but in various hilarious ways. But his job came to a halt when Parker Wembley (Andy Serkis), a wealthy media mogul whose dealings went against all Fred stood for bought the newspaper house he was working for. Due to this development Fred quit his job and unfortunately for him could not get a job as quickly as he hoped. On the other hand, Charlotte Field (Charlize Theron) a successful politician being the secretary of state and one of the most powerful woman in the world has little or no time for herself. With the aim of becoming the president she came up with an initiative to get the support of 100 States during a tour to these states.

Meanwhile, in bid to cheer his best friend Fred on the loss of his job, Lance (O'shea Jackson Jr) takes him to a charity fundraising party which Charlotte, the secretary of states is also attending. Fred recognized Charlotte as his former baby sitter, he almost ran away because he had kissed her when they were teenagers. Not only did he kiss her, he also got "hard on" which however made him embarrassed. But nevertheless they met and talked. On the path to running for the presidency, a team that includes Maggie (June Diane Raphel) was set up to create an image of Charlotte that can get more support for the seat. In order to also create a different speech line she recruited Fred, after reading his works has her new speech writer. As time went by during the tour, Charlotte and Fred grew closer. They got to know more about each other and so the feelings started brewing. They became intimate with each which did not go well with Maggie. To Maggie they are not compatible and the world would not accept their relationship. Despite all odds Charlotte chooses to hold on to love even when a nasty video about Fred was put on the internet by Parker Wembley.

For me the movie is cool, interesting and hilarious. Having someone by your side to bring the best in you, to remind you that there's more to life than work! Work! Work. Fighting for what what makes you happy irrespective of other people's opinion.
