У контексті останніх днів, гадаю, не лише мене переслідує історичне дежавю. Нові зустрічі в Мюнхені, намагання вкотре зупинити/примирити аґресора, підписання нових папірців тощо. Історія завжди намагається нас чомусь навчити. Але ті, хто не хочуть засвоювати уроки минулого (заграючи з диктаторами), робити відповідні висновки і рішучі кроки, як правило, змушені ставати на ті самі граблі знову. Така собі перездача свого часу проваленого іспиту. І от уже сьогодні ми всі є свідками подальшого розвитку сценарію. Тільки відмінність у тому, що це не кадри з фільму, а наша реальність. І все відбувається, на відміну від того ж таки 1938 року, у прискореному чи, як нині кажуть, турбулентному режимі.

На вихідні я переглянула історичну драму «Мюнхен. На порозі війни» Крістіана Швохова за сценарієм Бена Пауера, щоб ще раз нагадати собі події далекого 1938 року. Ясна річ, ми вже давно не «на порозі», бо в Україні гібридна війна точиться вже вісім років, і українці якось у цій фантасмагоричній реальності продовжують жити і воювати (хто де і як, адже нам не вперше). Але ремінісценції з 1938 року на тлі 2022 року доволі показові.
Сюжет. Британський дипломат Х'ю Легат напередодні Другої Світової війни їде до Мюнхена на надзвичайну конференцію, як і його колишній друг з Оксфорду — німецький дипломат Пауль фон Гартман. Кілька років тому вони розійшлися через суперечку щодо політики Адольфа Гітлера, а тепер їх об'єднує спільна мета — запобігти підписанню славнозвісної «мюнхенської угоди». Британський прем'єр-міністр Невілл Чемберлен відчайдушно шукає мирного рішення, у той час, як Адольф Гітлер готується до вторгнення в Чехословаччину. Коли починаються закриті переговори у Мюнхені, старі друзі — Х'ю та Пауль — опиняються в самому епіцентрі подій.
Я не знаю, як цей фільм сприйняла і відчула та частина населення світу, якій пощастило мати нормального сусіда. Напевно, здебільшого як екранізацію світового бестселера «Мюнхен» Роберта Харріса чи просто як добре знятий історичний фільм. Але я, дивлячись цю драму, прагнула здійснити стрибок у минуле, аби, пройшовшись вуличками тодішніх Лондона і Мюнхена, відчути те наелектризоване повітря, яке добряче на всіх тиснуло. Достатньо було запалити сірник, і все вибухнуло б. Але тоді це була бомба сповільненої дії, з відтермінуванням на рік. Атмосфера напруження у фільмі передана настільки переконливо, насамперед завдяки відмінній грі акторів, що місцями за розвитком сюжету відчуваєш, як усе це починає лоскотати нерви, і тебе охоплює розпач.

У 1938 році всі були в стані якогось очікування й ілюзорної надії. До речі, у фільмі слово «надія» трактується як слабкий аргумент («краще було б без неї» — ця репліка звучить двічі, тільки вустами різних персонажів). Ти дивишся фільм, уже знаючи чим все закінчиться, і просто по факту оцінюєш ситуацію. У той самий час намагаєшся поставити себе на місце головних дійових осіб і відчути їхні хвилювання, спробу змінити хід історії, запобігти майбутній трагедії. І по-справжньому проживаєш разом із ними ту реальну небезпеку, розуміючи, що вихід лишається тільки один: готуватися до війни. Дипломатія і політика безсилі, коли, фактично, маховик запущено, і кожен має взяти на себе відповідальність бути захисником своєї країни. Не інакше. І тільки до перемоги!

Lo mejor de ver película es lograr sentir la historia, no importa si otros no son receptivos o exponen críticas sobre la manera de ejecución de la trama, lo importante es que si hay conexión con la película, deje un mensaje relevante. Fue así como me sentí al ver Múnich en víspera de una guerra; además es un tema relacionado con la historia, el propósito del director es compartir con el mundo lo sucedido para comprender cómo ocurrió, sus implicaciones y la razón del porqué de los hechos. Múnich en víspera de una guerra es una película adaptada de la novela de Robert Harris, habrá personajes ficticios para que exista un mayor impacto sin alterar lo sucedido. El director Christian Schwochow, compuso una trama que transmite sacrificio heroico basados en tomas decisiones estratégicas en una época (1938) que fue golpeada duramente por actos bélicos como los ocurridos en la Segunda Guerra Mundial; parte de la verdad está contada en la película, como el acuerdo entre dos países y un primer ministro (Reino Unido) indulgente, carismático y crédulo, comportamiento que desconocía o fueron creados para otorgar a la historia sensibilidad.
The best thing about watching a film is to be able to feel the story, it doesn't matter if others are not receptive or criticize the way the plot is executed, the important thing is that if there is a connection with the film, it leaves a relevant message. That is how I felt watching Munich on the eve of a war; besides it is a theme related to history, the director's purpose is to share with the world what happened in order to understand how it happened, its implications and the reason why it happened.
Munich on the eve of a war is a film adapted from the novel by Robert Harris, there will be fictitious characters so that there is a greater impact without altering what happened. Las películas de guerra el espionaje es una técnica para conocer las decisiones del bando contrario y es aquí donde entra la ficción, dos excompañeros universitarios con cargos diplomáticos "coinciden" en Munich, lugar que se convoca la reunión imperante para firmar el acuerdo, por tanto, se convierte el escenario para accionar el complot organizado por opositores de Hitler, la vida de ellos está en juego.
Quiero resaltar que, el ambiente estuvo ejemplar, el vestuario, la música y la escenografía nada disonante para el momento. Los colores sobrios se posicionan del lugares de suspenso, drama y misterio; como también el color fuerte, un rojo y dorado en sitios emblemáticos que son símbolos de dominio. La música clásica festiva al principio, pero sin duda, la mejor parte, aquella que pinta el panorama de tensión y angustia del tiempo que suena (tictac), eso me gustó. Por otra lado, la toma del cielo gris reseña el preludio del discurso del Ministro Chamberlain, el cual es representativo para la eternidad. Otra cosa por mencionar son los diálogos que fingen información y los diálogos de rabia, verbo, indignación, impotencia, soberbia y de poder entre grupos que comparten los mismos ideales y manifiestan desesperación, así como quienes creen que el diálogo es la mejor alternativa para la solución.
In Context is a drama, espionage and war film. It is based on an important event of the Second World War; Hitler is about to unleash a new territorial advance in invading Czechoslovakia; by virtue of this the United Kingdom is on alert and the Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain must seek an urgent option to stop the mobilization of the Nazi troops through a peaceful agreement. The war movies, espionage is a technique to know the decisions of the opposing side and this is where fiction enters, two former university classmates with diplomatic positions "coincide" in Munich, place that is convened to the prevailing meeting to sign the agreement, therefore, it becomes the scenario to trigger the plot organized by opponents of Hitler, their lives are at stake.
I want to emphasize that the atmosphere was exemplary, the costumes, music and scenery were not dissonant for the moment. The sober colors are positioned in places of suspense, drama and mystery; as well as the strong color, red and gold in emblematic places that are symbols of domination. The music is festive at the beginning, but without a doubt, the best part, the one that paints the panorama of tension and anguish of the time that sounds (ticking), I liked that. On the other hand, the shot of the gray sky outlines the prelude to Minister Chamberlain's speech, which is representative of eternity. Another thing to mention is the dialogues that feign information and the dialogues of rage, verb, indignation, impotence, arrogance and power between groups that share the same ideals and manifest desperation, as well as those who believe that dialogue is the best alternative for the solution.
La actuación que me pareció indiferente fue de Adolf Hitler (Ulrich Matthes) un tirano que rompe con actuaciones nada escandalosas; sin embargo, quienes rodearon la actuación del Führer hacían que fuera creíble la atmósfera. El reparto en general hizo un desempeño satisfactorio, en especial el fanático oficial de la SS con su comportamiento exacerbado Alex Jennings quien tiene trayectoria representando la vida de los agentes alemanes de la época. Me gustó el protagonismo de George MacKay (Hugt Legat) secretario honesto, ingenuo y nervioso del primer Ministro, fiel a su trabajo, acepta de manera arbitraria ser un espía para conocer las intenciones de Hitler en un clima de tensión entre Gran Bretaña y Alemania, no sabe qué le espera y la ansiedad lo delata y eso me desesperaba; pero hay un lazarillo mujer, la actriz Anjli Mohindra (Joan) una transcriptora que posee un papel poco visible, es pieza fundamental en auxiliar la operación para que no falle, así que es una espía que me llamó la atención. También está Sandra Hüller (Helen Winter) sabe representar a la asistente del traductor del canciller de Hitler, antes los ojos de algunos, mujer que rinde respeto a la autoridad, mientras que la otra cara, mujer que rechaza el pensamiento Nazi, se filtra y apoya a su compañero traductor y lo anima a cumplir un plan arriesgado. La interpretación del actor Jannis Niewöhner (Paul Von Hartmann) el agente secreto que trabaja para el gobierno de Hitler como traductor, finge un comportamiento antisemita, me cautivó el repudio del pensamiento Nazi, lo que comprendía como proeza de dignidad en otra etapa de su vida, se convierte en ímpetu para tomar el camino peligroso del espionaje. Por último, el conocido Jeremy Irons (Neville Chamberlain) interpretación exquisita de ver un ministro simpático, confiando en la diplomacia y cansado de la guerra se escuda en expresiones reflexivas para crear la tregua que detenga la guerra, un ministro condescendiente porque cree en la palabra, actitud que se percibe en la actuación del actor.
Hay ideas que se destacan en la película, por ejemplo la política no debe estar por encima de la amistad, situación que viven los jóvenes espías Hugt Legat y Paul Von Hartmann, la película explica por qué se rompe la relación. La película expone cómo los dirigentes, en este caso el Primer Ministro, utiliza las palabras para contar una realidad angustiosa que luego se remedia con términos que siembran la confianza en los ciudadanos. Además, el hecho de que, a medida que avanza la historia, las estrategias políticas y de espionaje dan un giro en función de las decisiones secretas o de los movimientos anticipados de otros que modifican el plan, eso me mantuvo centrada en la película. La historia describe que una situación de conflicto entre países altera la paz; cabe destacar que la cinematografía retrata los acontecimientos que enfrentan los altos mandos, el primer ministro utiliza los conocimientos políticos y estudia las intervenciones del adversario con fama desafiante, ambicioso y cruel. Un punto crucial sobre la película, comienza fresca y rápida y luego pasa a un ritmo lento que me impacienta, pero en la mitad la película fluye entre la angustia, el miedo, la tensión y las decisiones que sacuden a los protagonistas, creo que esa variación es aceptable porque si la adaptamos a ese momento todo sucedió un día a la vez.

Hola Hivers amantes de las películas y series, en esta ocasión deseo compartir con ustedes, una nueva película del genero de drama bélico, uno de los géneros que me agrada más, quizás conocemos muchas de esas grandes películas que se introducen en este género y la verdad, pienso que siempre son atrayentes, sobre todo cuando se trata de nuestra propia historia como humanidad. El día de hoy deseo escribir sobre la película Múnich en Vísperas de una Guerra.
Esta es una película británica estrenada en el año 2021. Un film que podemos encontrar en la sección de novedades en Netflix, e incluso, notaremos que se encuentra entre el top de películas populares de este servicio de streaming. No es una película historia, sin embargo, está basada en hechos reales, mezclando ficción e historia en un drama en un contexto político desarrollado justo antes de comenzar la segunda guerra mundial.
Sinopsis:
Paul y Hugh son exestudiantes de Oxford, desarrollan cargos diplomáticos cercanos al primer ministro de Inglaterra y al líder de Alemania (Hitler), ambos amigos desde dos posiciones opuestas trataran de evitar la mayor guerra que la humanidad ha visto haciendo todo lo que este a su alcance, incluso arriesgado sus carreras políticas y sus propias vidas.
No soy historiador, son embargo, este tipo de films basados en la historia me agrada, sobre todo si se trata de la víspera de un evento que cambia a la humanidad para siempre, la segunda guerra mundial. El contexto de esta película se centra en una discusión de fronteras por parte de Alemania, la cual estaba bastante limitada debido al tratado de Versalles, en este conflicto limítrofe, Checoslovaquia era la que se encontraba en la mira de Hitler para ser anexada. Todo esto lleva a los líderes a reunirse en Múnich para firmar tratados con la finalidad de mantener la paz en Europa y el mundo.
Este es un aspecto clave que nos hace sumergirnos en esta historia dramática, sabemos que al final de cuentas la guerra ocurrirá, por lo cual sentimos que los protagonistas deben luchar para evitar esa catástrofe mundial. Esto añade emociones al film, saber las consecuencias de lo que se hace o lo que se deja de hacer en ese momento histórico. En la película los intelectuales intuyen que se avecina una guerra si Alemania sigue con pretensiones expansionistas en combinación del desarrollo de su ejecito, ahora bien, ¿Cuál es la posición de los países ante esta situación?, evidentemente la película se centra en la posición de Gran Bretaña en este conflicto que puede desencadenar una guerra sin precedentes hasta ese momento.
La política se dividía en dos, el lado británico donde se encuentra el personaje de Hugh y su contraparte alemán es Paul. La película se desarrolla más por el lado británico, donde Hugh es secretario y asistente de Chamberlain, sin embargo, observamos que Paul se va ganando la confianza y el respeto de Hitler.
Opino que el personaje de Hitler no está correctamente personificado, parece algo delgado, en definitiva, no se parece al despiadado dictador que observamos en los documentales, siempre espero que los personajes se parezcan a los reales y que no solo se basen en las características más elementales de la persona, por ejemplo, el singular bigote del dictador alemán no es suficiente para personificarlo adecuadamente.
Por otro lado, Neville Chamberlain, si se parece a las fotos históricas, está muy bien personificado, aun sabiendo que es un personaje poco conocido en comparación a otros famosos lideres y generales en la segunda guerra mundial.
¿Reivindicación de Arthur Neville Chamberlain?
Desde un punto de vista general, la película nos presenta un argumento positivo de este primer ministro británico. Chamberlain, en la vida real fue duramente criticado y despedazado políticamente por las decisiones tomadas antes de la guerra, incluso libros hablan de los tantos errores que cometió este primer ministro que renuncio bajo la presión de la oposición, el pacto de Múnich es uno de es sienta en el puesto de liderazgo es el conocido Winston Churchill.
A pesar de que la historia también tiene argumentos positivos sobre las políticas de Chamberlain, las negativas son más abundantes. Esta película británica de alguna manera trata de mejorar esa imagen de este exministro, a mi parecer ese es el objetivo “político” de la película, aunque este aspecto lo notaremos al final del film, donde de alguna manera conocemos las razones de sus decisiones.
Suspenso
Algo en que nos introduce esta película es al suspenso, escenas donde se nota la tensión, donde la vida de los protagonistas puede cambiar de rumbo, también notaremos la tensión dada por situaciones que sabemos que podrían cambiar la historia. A pesar de que ese suspenso se introduce en la película, no es tan significativo. El antagonista no tiene un buen desenvolvimiento, es casi nulo de hecho, siendo el principal antagonista el contexto más que un personaje.
Me hubiese gustado observar más escenas donde se introduce un suspenso y tensión aplastante, aunque podemos observar pinceladas en cuanto a este aspecto, este tipo de escenas trasmite la emoción decentemente, pero sin ser realmente sobresaliente. En lo particular, pienso que es una historia con un contexto muy interesante donde el suspenso y esa tensión aplastante pudieron tener más protagonismo.
Es una buena película, me agrada el argumento y el desarrollo del mismo, aunque como en todas las películas las casualidades entre los protagonistas son muy evidentes. La película busca que la visión tan negativa de Chamberlain cambie un poco, esto más evidente con el mal personaje de Hitler que existe en esta trama, como si los focos no se pudieran desviar hacia otro lado que no fuese el exministro británico.
A pesar que hay ficción, es basado en un hecho real y eso me agrada, conocer más sobre lo que pudo haber ocurrido en un momento tan importante, siempre será interesante y esta película a mi parecer desarrolla y nos introduce muy bien en el tema, agregando tensión y suspenso para un argumento con bases en el género dramático que incluso posee características de espionaje.
Si, es una película que puedo recomendar para todos los que disfruten una película de drama, teniendo en cuenta que la película se basa en un hecho real y que podemos ver desde un ángulo destino esa tensión diplomática que antecede la segunda guerra mundial. No es una perdida de tiempo y vale la pena verla hasta el final. La recomiendo abiertamente, sin dudas en este momento se merece estar en el top de las nuevas películas en Netflix.

Synopsis:
Paul and Hugh are former Oxford students, they develop diplomatic positions close to the Prime Minister of England and the leader of Germany (Hitler), both friends from two opposite positions will try to avoid the greatest war that humanity has seen doing everything in their power, even risking their political careers and their own lives.
I am not a historian, however, this type of film based on history pleases me, especially if it is about the eve of an event that changes humanity forever, the Second World War. The context of this film focuses on a border discussion by Germany, which was quite limited due to the Treaty of Versailles, in this border conflict, Czechoslovakia was the one in Hitler's sights to be annexed. All this leads the leaders to meet in Munich to sign treaties in order to maintain peace in Europe and the world.
This is a key aspect that immerses us in this dramatic story, we know that ultimately war will happen, so we feel that the protagonists must fight to avoid that global catastrophe. This adds emotions to the film, knowing the consequences of what is done or not done in that historical moment. In the film the intellectuals sense that a war is coming if Germany continues with expansionist pretensions in combination with the development of its axis, now, what is the position of the countries in this situation, obviously the film focuses on the position of Great Britain in this conflict that can trigger a war unprecedented until that moment.
Politics was divided in two, the British side where the character of Hugh is and his German counterpart is Paul. The film develops more on the British side, where Hugh is Chamberlain's secretary and assistant, however, we see Paul gaining Hitler's trust and respect.
I think that Hitler's character is not correctly personified, he seems a little thin, in short, he does not look like the ruthless dictator we see in the documentaries, I always hope that the characters look like the real ones and that they are not only based on the most elementary characteristics of the person, for example, the unique mustache of the German dictator is not enough to personify him adequately.
On the other hand, Neville Chamberlain, if he looks like the historical photos, is very well personified, even knowing that he is a little known character in comparison to other famous leaders and generals in the Second World War.
Vindication of Arthur Neville Chamberlain?
From a general point of view, the film presents us with a positive argument for this British Prime Minister. Chamberlain, in real life was harshly criticized and politically torn apart by the decisions taken before the war, even books talk about the many mistakes made by this prime minister who resigned under the pressure of the opposition, the Munich Pact is one of them, he sits in the leadership position is the well-known Winston Churchill.
Although history also has positive arguments about Chamberlain's policies, the negative ones are more abundant. Suspense
Something that this film introduces us to is suspense, scenes where we notice the tension, where the lives of the protagonists can change course, we will also notice the tension given by situations that we know could change the story. Although this suspense is introduced in the film, it is not that significant. The antagonist does not have a good development, it is almost null in fact, being the main antagonist the context rather than a character.
I would have liked to see more scenes where suspense and overwhelming tension are introduced, although we can see brushstrokes in this aspect, this kind of scenes transmit the emotion decently, but without being really outstanding. In particular, I think it is a story with a very interesting context where the suspense and that crushing tension could have had more prominence.
It is a good film, I like the plot and its development, although as in all films the coincidences between the protagonists are very evident. The film seeks that the so negative vision of Chamberlain changes a little, this more evident with the bad character of Hitler that exists in this plot, as if the spotlights could not be diverted to another side that was not the British ex-minister.
Although there is fiction, it is based on a real fact and that pleases me, to know more about what could have happened in such an important moment, will always be interesting and this film in my opinion develops and introduces us very well in the subject, adding tension and suspense for a plot with bases in the dramatic genre that even has characteristics of espionage.
Yes, it is a movie that I can recommend for all those who enjoy a drama movie, considering that the film is based on a real event and we can see from a destiny angle that diplomatic tension that precedes the second world war. It is not a waste of time and is worth watching until the end. I recommend it openly, no doubt at this time it deserves to be in the top of the new movies on Netflix.
