Synopsis :

The story takes place in the United States, in our time.

A man enters a house to kidnap a child. His mother is separated from his father, but is seeing at least one other man, who is present at the time of the kidnapping. The lover and the mother are killed and the child is taken away in a Rolls Royce.

Maggie, a library employee, knew the child well, as she had taught him to read and write. Maggie uses Scrabble letters to find clues.

Victoria McQueen is a teenager who would like to study art, but her parents cannot afford to pay for her studies. Thanks to her motorbike, she realises that she can use a bridge to find lost objects.

Charlie Manx is the owner of the Rolls Royce and takes the kidnapped children to a place where Christmas is celebrated every day.

Charlie Manx is no ordinary person, but neither are Maggie and Victoria.

L'histoire se déroule aux Etats-Unis, à notre époque.

Un homme entre dans une maison pour kidnapper un enfant. Sa mère est séparée du père, mais fréquente au moins un autre homme, sur place au moment du kidnapping. L'amant et la mère se font tuer et le gamin est embarqué dans la Rolls Royce.

Maggie, une employée de la bibliothèque, connaissait bien le gamin, puisqu'elle lui a appris à lire et à écrire. Maggie utilise des lettres de scrabble pour avoir des indices.

Victoria McQueen est une adolescente qui aimerait faire des études d'art, mais ses parents n'ont pas les moyens de lui payer ces études. Grâce à sa moto, elle réalise qu'elle peut utiliser un pont pour retrouver des objets égarés.

Charlie Manx est le propriétaire de la Rolls Royce et il amène les enfants kidnappés dans un endroit où on fête Noël tous les jours.

Charlie Manx n'est pas quelqu'un d'ordinaire, mais Maggie et Victoria non plus.

Several series inherited from AMC have been arriving on Netflix recently. The series Moonhaven, for example, did not get a second season, so we were afraid we would see the same thing happen with this series.

Fortunately, even though season 3 of Nos4a2 has been cancelled, the director had prepared a plausible ending for season 2, while including elements for a sequel.

Plusieurs séries héritées d'AMC arrivent sur Netflix, ces derniers temps. La série Moonhaven n'avait, par exemple, pas eu droit à une 2e saison et nous craignions donc d'avoir la même blague avec cette série-ci.

Heureusement, même si la saison 3 de Nos4a2 a été annulée, le réalisateur avait préparé une fin plausible pour la saison 2, tout en incluant des éléments pour une suite.

I really enjoyed this series. Thankfully, the ending was well prepared.

I'm not going to deny you that the rhythm of the series is slow and that in order to appreciate it we need to open our minds a little and give it time, since the plot is constantly going down tedious paths that could make us abandon it but in general this is a very good series, with a Gothic Christmas atmosphere that reminds us a lot of those horror classics that were great. The series takes a very terrifying story and adapts it as best as possible softening the gothic tone but without leaving aside its essence that is basically a horror that is not subtle and instead offers us a lot of violence.
