Many people have dreams and whenever they wake up, they forget those dreams. Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to have control over your dreams? Is there anything special about dreams? Some people support the fact that dreams do come true while others don't. Permit me to take you on a journey through the dreamlands.

Released in 2022 and directed by Francis Lawrence Slumberlands is all about dreams. First of all, I have to commend whoever came up with that name. You must have come across the saying "wake up from your slumber", well this movie shows people who are rather happy to sleep. I always thought that slumber was a negative kind of sleep; but I was wrong.
Second, I like how this movie began with a piece of finely presented poetry. Any one who loves poetry would immediately be enveloped from the opening scene of the movie.
Plot
A little girl(Nemo) discovers a secret map that leads to the dreamworld. With the help of an outlaw, she moves through dreams (both her dreams and other people's dreams) in a means to fulfil one wish of hers.
Unfortunately for Nemo, her dad died at sea and her mom had died when she was just a baby, leaving her to the care of her "boring uncle" who owned a doorknob company.
The outlaw in Nemo's dreams tells her that she could get a chance to speak with her father once again if she gets hold of a pearl and so, they set out in search of the pearls. As expected, this journey wasn't all rosey and flowery. I'd like to elaborate on what terrible things happened but I'd let you find out yourself. What are those terrible things that you think could happen in your dreams and in other people's dreams?.
There were basically four top casts in this movie; Nemo, her uncle–Philip (who has a counter ego named Flip), Peter–her dad and Green.
Nemo
She plays the role of a very courageous young girl. Losing a parent can be very hard, then imagine losing two. She is young, afraid of being alone and just wants to spend the rest of her life with her dad, even if it means being trapped in the dream land forever.
Flip
Flip plays the role of uncle Philip's counter ego. He is an outlaw and is on the list of the top most wanted criminals. I had never seen someone so happy to be number one on the "most wanted outlaw/criminal" list.
Flip guides Nemo in her dreams, step by step to where the pearls are. His motif for finding the pearls was totally different from that of Nemo's and for a minute I thought he would backstab little Nemo.
Green
I love movies where women play daring roles and Green was the action lady in this movie. She wasn't exactly the bad person as she was just doing her job.
She plays the role of a fiesty cop from the bureau of subconscious activities (BOSA). She aces her role everytime the spotlight is given to her.
Peter
Peter plays the role of Nemo's dad. They lived in a lighthouse and Peter made it a point of duty to teach Nemo the ways of the sea.
He died mysteriously at sea but he had given Nemo all she needed to survive in the "waking world".

Slumberlands is one of those movies that you watch and after watching you go ahead to read the cast because the movie was amazing. It was an action filled movie and each scene had its way of locking the viewers in.
I would totally recommend this movie for anyone as it is a great watch. This movie portrays love, bravery, determination and a whole lot of other positive characteristics. I hope you have a great time watching.

I have just finished watching the film Slumberland, produced by Netflix, whose protagonist is Jason Momoa (Acquaman), curious enough to observe the actor beyond the guise of the DC superhero, who consecrated him among the most requested men in American cinema (as well as by the female audience).
The trailer really intrigued me and I was curious to see Jason Momoa in a different role, nothing particularly challenging, but for better or worse at the moment it's his acting bracket. I also know the director Francis Lawrence, who also made The Hunger Games or Constantine, so my confidence has grown even more.
I honestly didn't have high expectations, I knew it would be an easy movie to watch, but it's precisely here that my expectations often break, as happened a bit with Slumberland. The plot of the film is attractive, the loss of a parent and the possibility of meeting him in the world of dreams is something we all long for. Being able to fall asleep to dream of the people dear to us. Beautiful.
However, the story goes much further, fear is an enemy that can trap you forever in the world of dreams and facing your fears is something with which we often have to do the calculations. The movie has a very fantastic take on it, over the top, and you lose the sense of the story. Jason Mamoa confirmed his sufficiency, perhaps even less, however, not going beyond my expectations.
A family-friendly film, with hints that reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, perhaps due to the screenplay and cinematography. My rating is 6/10. If you are looking for a low-key but watchable movie to spend a boring evening with, Slumberland is what you might want.

He tenido un buen tiempo esperando ver una película desde que se estrenó, debido a que mi lista de películas y series es bastante larga, esta que les mencionaré a continuación me ha encantado mucho, no solo porque uno de los actores que están destacando mucho últimamente aparece, sino que la historia es muy interesante y nos deja algo a la que aprender de ella.
Esta película se llama el país de los sueños, entrando en los géneros de Fantasía, aventura y es perfecta para verlo en familia, por el hecho de que también tiene el género familiar.
Hay películas que no los pueden ver todo publico, por ejemplo las de terror para los niños, pero en este caso es ideal para verlos con ellos y hacer de que aprendan algo nuevo el día de hoy con esta película.

I have had a good time waiting to see a movie since it was released, because my list of movies and series is quite long, this one that I will mention below has delighted me a lot, not only because one of the actors who are highlighting a lot lately appears, but the story is very interesting and leaves us something to learn from it.
This movie is called the country of dreams, entering the genres of Fantasy, adventure and is perfect to see it in family, by the fact that it also has the family genre.
There are movies that can not be seen by all audiences, for example horror movies for children, but in this case it is ideal to watch it with them and make them learn something new today with this movie.
El actor principal al que podemos encontrar en esta película y a la vez es uno de los que está destacando con sus actuaciones se llama Jason Momoa, lo veremos interpretando el papel de Flip, una enorme criatura corpulenta con cuernos, melena y orejas de león con una extraña vestimenta que le luce graciosa y que solo lo veremos en los sueños de las personas.
Pero Flip no está solo como personaje principal, sino que también tenemos a una niña inteligente, valiente y hermosa de una edad aproximada a 10 años, su nombre es Marlow Barkley y su interpretación es esta película es Nemo.
The main actor that we can find in this movie and at the same time is one of those who is standing out with his performances is called Jason Momoa, we will see him playing the role of Flip, a huge corpulent creature with horns, mane and lion ears with a strange outfit that looks funny and that we will only see in people's dreams.
But Flip is not alone as the main character, we also have an intelligent, brave and beautiful girl of about 10 years old, her name is Marlow Barkley and her interpretation in this movie is Nemo.
La historia se centra en Nemo, una niña que vive en una pequeña isla donde se encuentra un enorme faro, vive con su padre llamado Peter interpretado por Kyle Chandler, juntos viven una aventura llena de misterios y cosas por descubrir, hasta que un suceso inesperado obliga a Nemo a separarse de su padre.
El sentimiento de hija hacia su padre es bastante fuerte, esta comienza a tener pesadillas durante días, la pesadilla se presenta en forma en una enorme criatura con tentáculos llamada Kraken.
Pero Nemo comienza a descubrir que puede controlar sus sueños para buscar que lo quiere, en este caso es encontrar a su padre, en uno de esos sueños conoce Flip, pero a pesar de su apariencia no representa una amenaza, aunque si es gracioso en todo momento.
Sinceramente, he visto varias películas en las que Jason Momoa actúa, pero en ninguna de ellas lo hace siendo gracioso o excéntrico, me pareció un poco gracioso, esto se debe a que he estado acostumbrada en la que interpreta a un personaje sin emociones, asesino o un superhéroe.
The story focuses on Nemo, a girl who lives on a small island where there is a huge lighthouse, she lives with her father named Peter played by Kyle Chandler, together they live an adventure full of mysteries and things to discover, until an unexpected event forces Nemo to separate from his father.
The daughter's feelings towards her father are strong enough, she begins to have nightmares for days, the nightmare comes in the form of a huge tentacled creature called Kraken.
But Nemo begins to discover that he can control his dreams to find what he wants, in this case is to find his father, in one of those dreams he meets Flip, but despite its appearance does not represent a threat, although it is funny at all times.
Honestly, I have seen several movies in which Jason Momoa acts, but in none of them he does it being funny or eccentric, I found it a little funny, this is because I have been accustomed in which he plays a character without emotions, murderer or a superhero.
Los sueños se representan de una manera en la que si pensamos algo durante la noche lo soñaremos, para el caso de las pesadillas es un mensaje que transmite nuestro cerebro cuado nuestro cuerpo no está funcionando correctamente, un buen ejemplo sería dejar de respirar, aunque también las pesadillas aparecen cuando estamos muy deprimidos.
Me pareció muy interesante que en esta película familiar se centraran más en los sueños que podamos tener, Nemo pasara por los sueños de las demás personas, todas y cada una de ellas sueñan en hacer cosas que nunca podrán hacer en la vida real, como montar en un enorme ganso volando por el monte everest.
Bailar con miles de personas y ser el centro de atención, he incluso manejar un camión limpia calles con enormes neumáticos con una velocidad inalcanzable.
Dreams are represented in a way that if we think something during the night we will dream it, in the case of nightmares it is a message that our brain transmits when our body is not working properly, a good example would be to stop breathing, although nightmares also appear when we are very depressed.
I found it very interesting that in this family movie they focused more on the dreams we can have, Nemo will go through the dreams of other people, each and every one of them dream of doing things they can never do in real life, like riding on a huge goose flying over mount everest.
Dancing with thousands of people and being the center of attention, and even driving a street cleaning truck with huge tires with unattainable speed.
Flip tiene un cierto interés en un mapa que encontró el padre de Nemo hace muchos años, es un misterio saber como es que Flip conoce al padre de Nemo, pero esta niña deberá ser más valiente de lo que ya es para poder enfrentarse con la ley de los sueños.
Pero por ser una niña no le irá tan mal, solo al pobre de Flip es quien será más afectado ante toda esta situación, por el hecho de que Flip es un forajido y que ha estado perturbando el sueño de los demás, pero gracias a la valentía de Nemo, justos se ayudaran para poder llegar hasta lo que más quieren tener en el mundo.
Las personas buenas siempre serán recompensadas más allá de lo que piden y hay que alcanzar nuestros sueños a toda costa, sin importar que obstáculo haya en nuestros caminos, juntos debemos trabajar para llegar hasta esa meta, es una de las cosas que más pude notar en esta película.
Flip has a certain interest in a map that Nemo's father found many years ago, it is a mystery to know how Flip knows Nemo's father, but this girl will have to be braver than she already is to face the law of dreams.
But because she is a girl, she will not do so badly, only poor Flip is the one who will be more affected by this situation, because Flip is an outlaw and has been disturbing the sleep of others, but thanks to the courage of Nemo, they will help each other to get to what they most want to have in the world.
Good people will always be rewarded beyond what they ask for and we must reach our dreams at all costs, no matter what obstacle is in our way, together we must work to reach that goal, is one of the things I could notice the most in this movie.
Me encanto las actuaciones de todos los actrices que participaron en esta película, sobre todo la de Jason Momoa, sin duda alguna me sorprendió verlos interpretar personajes como este, espero ver otra película en las que este hombre aparece pronto, sus actuaciones son geniales.
También podemos encontrar un gran misterio que abrirá mucho nuestros ojos en esta película, sin duda alguna les encantara este film.
Esta película fue estrenada el 18 de noviembre del reciente año 2022.
Aunque la aprobación de los críticos haya sido en un 38%, pero la audiencia que ha tenido es de un 86%, según la página más usada Rotten Tomatoes.
Yo le daría a esta película 4 estrellas de 5: la interpretación de los actores fue muy buena y la historia es interesante, pero siento que pudieron haber mejorado la historia del padre de Nemo, ya que esto deja muchas preguntas para los más pequeños de la casa.
Para poder puntuar una película solo busco, interpretación de los actores, ambientación en la que se desenvuelve la historia, la historia, lo que nos deja como aprendizaje y el sentimiento que transmite.

I loved the performances of all the actresses who participated in this movie, especially Jason Momoa, without a doubt I was surprised to see them playing characters like this, I hope to see another movie in which this man appears soon, his performances are great.
We can also find a great mystery that will open our eyes a lot in this movie, no doubt you will love this film.
This movie was released on November 18 of the recent year 2022.
Although the approval of the critics has been 38%, but the audience it has had is 86%, according to the most used page Rotten Tomatoes.
I would give this movie 4 stars out of 5: the performance of the actors was very good and the story is interesting, but I feel they could have improved the story of Nemo's father, as this leaves a lot of questions for the little ones in the house.
In order to rate a movie I only look for the actors' performance, the setting in which the story unfolds, the story, what it leaves us as a learning experience and the feeling it conveys.
