Welcome my dear family travelers of the internet and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, I consider myself an inveterate fan of the absurd and the stupid being one of those pleasures that are necessary from time to time to laugh at simple things, today I will talk about an animation that brings all that together and takes it to the next level because "The Addams Family 2" has a precedent of making good use of the elements mentioned above. Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros familiares del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, me considero un fanático empedernido de lo absurdo y lo estúpido siendo de esos placeres que son necesarios cada tanto para reírse de cosas simples, hoy hablaré de una animación que reúne todo eso y lo lleva al siguiente nivel debido a que "The Addams Family 2" tiene un precedente de hacer buen uso de los elementos anteriormente mencionados. Sin más que agregar prepárense para ir a un viaje familiar extraño pues estamos por comenzar.

The Addams Family 2 was released in 2021, was directed by Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon, produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, has a running time of 1 hour and 33 minutes. The plot is very simple and that is a success since it is expected from the premise that the film has, it focuses on only having situations that are absurd, pleasant and funny, all this makes it very enjoyable, I could expand on some other aspects but really what it strives for the most is in the points mentioned above. The duration is completely successful, during this one the different subplots are given a correct closure, the most important thing is that it does not feel boring at any time and the jokes do not become repetitive which is one of the most important points of the film.
La trama es muy simple y eso es un acierto puesto que es lo esperable de la premisa que tiene la cinta, esta se enfoca en solo tener situaciones que sean absurdas, agradables y graciosas, todo esto la hace muy disfrutable, podría extenderme en algunos otros aspectos pero realmente en lo que más se esfuerza es en los puntos anteriormente mencionados. La duración es completamente acertada, durante esta se le da un correcto cierre a las diferentes subtramas, lo más importante es que está no se siente aburrida en ningún momento y los chistes no se tornan repetitivos que es uno de los puntos más importantes del filme.

The characters have a correct characterization and as I mentioned before they have their own objectives that they achieve throughout the film, apart from that there is nothing more to highlight because it is not sought to have deep characters and the premise of the film would not give for that, the above also happens with the villain who is more of a joke than anything else but taking into account everything mentioned this is a decision more than successful.
Los personajes tienen una correcta caracterización y como mencione antes estos tienen sus propios objetivos que van consiguiendo a lo largo del filme, fuera de ello no hay más que destacar debido a que no se busca tener personajes profundos y la premisa del filme no daría para eso, lo anterior también pasa con el villano que es más un chiste que otra cosa pero tomando en cuenta todo lo mencionado esta es una decisión más que acertada.
The Addams Family 2 maintains that essence of its predecessor with various irreverent and funny jokes accompanied by absurd situations which give it that strange character that characterizes this iconic family. It is for all of the above that it deserves 3.5 stars out of 7, an animation highly recommended for the stupid comedy so enjoyable that it maintains at all times.
The Addams Family 2 mantiene esa esencia de su predecesora con diversos chistes irreverentes y graciosos acompañados de situaciones absurdas las cuales le dan ese carácter extraño que caracteriza a esta icónica familia. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, una animación sumamente recomendada por la comedia estúpida tan agradable que mantiene en todo momento.
