The Lazarus Project review: A science thriller that deserves all the time in the world.
The Lazarus Project is a smart and engaging series that explores a variety of interesting themes, such as the nature of time, the responsibility of time travel, and the price of sacrifice. The series is well made, with a strong cast and a plot that keeps the audience in suspense until the last episode.
**The series focuses on the relationship between George and the members of the Lazarus Project, particularly Sarah (Anjili Mohindra), a woman who has been trapped in the time loop for 12 years. As George learns more about the Lazarus Project and the dangers of time travel, he must decide if he is willing to sacrifice everything to save the world.**
The characters are well developed and believable. Harry and Sarah are two interesting and empathetic protagonists, and the rest of the cast also give solid performances.
**The story is gripping and full of suspense that i suspect can keep anyone in suspense from beginning to end, and the twists and turns are well handled. I enjoyed it enormously and i hope that there will be a sequel as intriguing and captivating as it has been up to now.**
One of the things i loved most about the series is how it explores the idea of loops in time. The series shows what it would be like to live the same day over and over again, and how it could affect a person's psyche.

Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, quiero hablarles de una serie inglesa que recientemente fue transmitida por la cadena de streaming Netflix, es una serie de ciencia ficción, que trata de viajeros en el tiempo, pero a diferencias de otras series antes vista, su hilo narrativo en mi opinión se dirige más a las consecuencias e implicaciones que resultan de realizar estos viajes para las personas que están conscientes de esto. Como afecta sus vidas y las de las personas que aman, a cambiar un hecho en el pasado y como este repercute en el presente. Las singularidades que se forman al viajar en el tiempo por un bien mayor.
The series was created by Joe Barton, who brings us an interesting plot led by a cast of actors such as: Paapa Essiedu, Caroline Quentin, Anjli Mohindra, Rudi Dharmalingam, Salome R. Gunnarsdottir, Lorn Macdonald, Charly Clive, Vinette Robinson, Taz Skylar, Brian Gleeson, Elaine Tan, Ria Fend, Tomislav Stojanovic among others. Who with their performances show us from a very personal angle of their characters, what we are willing to do for the people we love, regardless of the consequences. The ethical or moral debate that is presented is an interesting twist in each of the characters, when we can change a tragedy, what are we willing to do even knowing that we will affect millions of lives, here we can see and feel it in each character.
La serie fue creada por Joe Barton, que nos trae una interesante trama encabezada por reparto de actores como: Paapa Essiedu, Caroline Quentin, Anjli Mohindra, Rudi Dharmalingam, Salome R. Gunnarsdottir, Lorn Macdonald, Charly Clive, Vinette Robinson, Taz Skylar, Brian Gleeson, Elaine Tan, Ria Fend, Tomislav Stojanovic entre otros. Quienes con sus actuaciones nos muestran desde un ángulo muy personal de sus personajes, lo que estamos dispuestos hacer por las personas que amamos, sin importar las consecuencias. El debate ético o moral de que se presenta es un giro interesante en cada uno de los personajes, cuando podemos cambiar una tragedia, qué estamos dispuestos hacer aún sabiendo que afectaremos millones de vidas, acá podemos verlo y sentirlo en cada personaje.
I liked the series because it delves into human relationships and not trying to explain scientific theories about how we can travel in time; It's not that I don't like to see these theories of quantum physics, black holes, singularities, paradoxes or wormholes, on the contrary, I love it, but I understand that not all of us like quantum physics, or read Carl Sagan or Stephen Hawking. That is why the series is interesting to me because it addresses the consequences for people of traveling through time, the cost to their lives and the lives of others, the price that must be paid to play God.
Me gusto la serie porque profundiza en las relaciones humanas y no en tratar de explicarnos teorías científicas de como podemos viajar en el tiempo; no es que no me guste ver estas teorías de física cuántica, agujeros negros, singularidades, paradojas o agujeros de gusanos, por el contrario, me encanta, pero entiendo que no a todos nos gusta la física cuántica, ni leer a Carl Sagan o Stephen Hawking. Por ello la serie me resulta interesante porque aborda las consecuencias para las personas viajar en el tiempo, el costo a sus vidas y las vidas de los demás, el precio que hay que pagar para jugar a ser Dios.
Through flashbacks of the main characters, we get to know their lives and how they came to be part of The Lazarus Project. They also explain to us that only some people in the world who have evolved (mutated DNA) are capable of perceiving and remembering when they has changed in time, but unaware that time travel is possible, these changes seem only a dream. George (Paapa), is one of the few in the world with that ability and is recruited by Archie (Anjli), an agent of this organization, to make George part of it. Here begins a series of events that will make George make decisions that will change the course of his life and that of the people around him.
A través de flashback de los personajes principales, vamos conociendo sus vidas y como llegaron a ser parte de El Proyecto Lázaro, también nos explican que solo algunas personas en el mundo que han evolucionado (mutado ADN), son capaces de percibir y recordar cuando se ha cambiado en tiempo, pero al desconocer que es posible viajar en el tiempo, estos cambios parecen solo un sueño. George (Paapa), es uno de los pocos en el mundo con esa capacidad y es reclutado por Archie (Anjli), una agente de esta organización, para que forme parte George de ella. Acá comienza una serie de hechos que hará a George tomar decisiones que cambiaran el rumbo de su vida y de las personas que lo rodean.
I won't do spoilers because I want you to see it, I thought it was a great series that, for its first season, has done magnificently well, the series is English and the truth is that I was impressed by its quality. It takes place between London and other locations in Europe, the photography and attention to detail is magnificent. The narrative is interesting and the subplots keep us attentive to what will happen to each of the characters and shows them viscerally with their defects or virtues, here the gray tones in the story are the ones that stand out the most for the decisions they must make . I particularly hated the character of George, but I also understood that he was moved to do what he did. I recommend watching it and already waiting for the second season.
No haré spoiler porque deseo que la vean, me pareció una gran serie que para ser su primera temporada lo ha hecho magníficamente bien, la serie es inglesa y la verdad me impresionó la calidad de la misma. Se desarrolla entre Londres y otras locaciones de Europa, la fotografía y cuidado en los detalles es magnífico. La narrativa es interesante y las subtramas, nos mantienen atentos a lo que pasará a cada uno de los personajes y los muestra visceralmente con sus defectos o virtudes, acá los tonos grises en la historia son los que más se destacan por las decisiones que deben tomar. Particularmente, odié al personaje de George, pero también entendí que lo movió hacer lo que hizo. Te recomiendo verla y desde ya esperando la segunda temporada.
