Welcome dear internet travelers crime lovers and thank you very much for a temporary stop in my post, I have to confess that I had a long time without seeing a film that dealt with mafia and crimes so when I read the synopsis of "The Outfit" I was excited and expected a lot from this feature film that I am not disappointed. Without more than adding recharge your weapons that we are about to commit some crimes.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet amantes del delito y muchas gracias por una parada temporal en mi post, he de confesar que tenía mucho tiempo sin ver un filme que tratase sobre mafia y delitos por lo que cuando leí la sinopsis de "The Outfit" me emocione y espere mucho de este largometraje que no me decepciono. Sin más que agregar recarguen sus armas que estamos por cometer algunos delitos.

The Outfit was released this year, directed by Graham Moore and produced by Filmnation Entertainment, has a duration of 1 hour and 46 minutes. It is a film of drama and crime, the story places us in the middle of 56 in the shop of an English tailor who makes suits in a difficult area of the city, does not ask questions because most of his customers belong to the world of crime. All this leads him to show his kindest face so as not to have problems but when you have a relationship with gangsters there will always be problems of great proportions.
The Outfit fue estrenada este año, dirigida por Graham Moore y producida por Filmnation Entertainment, posee una duración de 1 hora y 46 minutos. Es un filme de drama y crimen, la historia nos ubica en mitad del 56 en la tienda de un sastre ingles el cual confecciona trajes en una zona difícil de la ciudad, no hace preguntas debido a que a mayoría de sus clientes pertenecen al mundo del crimen. Todo ello lo lleva a mostrar su cara más amable para no tener problemas pero cuando se tiene relación con los gángsters siempre habrá problemas de grandes proporciones.

Without hesitation I can say that the soundtrack is magnificent, extremely melodious and excellent accompaniment to the plot, it is very consistent with the time in which the film is set so it is completely enjoyable.
Sin tapujos puedo decir que la banda sonora es magnífica, sumamente melodiosa y excelente acompañamiento para la trama, la misma se encuentra muy acorde con la época en la que se encuentra ambientada la película por lo que es completamente disfrutable.

It had been a while since I had seen a world construction that exposed little and even so was something remarkable, the whole plot takes place in 2 rooms which are used to the fullest using every corner and element that they have; it is a simple setting but it is no less interesting since the same plot involves the fact of paying attention to each of the objects it contains because it is not known which one will be important in the near future. In turn, the different elements that make up the setting do an excellent job to reaffirm the time in which the film is set.
Había pasado un tiempo desde que había visto una construcción de mundo que expusiese poco y aun así fuese algo destacable, toda la trama se desarrolla en 2 habitaciones las cuales son aprovechadas al máximo utilizando cada rincón y elemento que estas poseen; es una ambientación simple pero no por ello resulta menos interesante puesto que la misma trama ínsita el hecho de prestarle atención a cada uno de los objetos que contiene pues no se sabe cual será importante en un futuro cercano. A su vez los diferentes elementos que conforman la ambientación realizan un trabajo excelente para reafirmar la época en la cuál se encuentra ambientada la cinta.

The plot is interesting from the beginning since it is easily perceived that every little detail will be important, a goal is not made clear from the beginning because it will be revealed throughout the film; I have to highlight how the film manages to make interesting something as inconsequential as making a suit to the point of making it an important element for the narrative. Speaking of the narrative this is curious because on many occasions it repeats events adding details so that every detail is understood and even understandable, very much in the style of "Ocean's Eleven". Last but not least I have to mention the multiple plot twists that it uses being that some are very well built and others not so much because they feel taken out of the sleeve; differentiating them from the fact that some feel more plausible than others.
La trama es interesante desde el comienzo puesto que se percibe fácilmente que cada pequeño detalle será importante, no se deja claro un objetivo desde el inicio debido a que el mismo se develara a lo largo de la cinta; he de resaltar el como la cinta logra hacer interesante algo tan intrascendente como hacer un traje a tal punto de convertirlo en un elemento importante para la narrativa. Hablando de la narrativa esta es curiosa debido a que en muchas ocasiones repite sucesos añadiendo detalles para que se entienda cada detalle e incluso entendibles, muy al estilo de "Ocean's Eleven". Por último pero no menos importante he de mencionar los múltiples giros argumentales que emplea siendo que algunos están muy bien construidos y otros no tanto debido a que se sienten sacados de la manga; diferenciándolos el hecho de que unos se sienten más plausibles que otros.

The film poses few characters but these are mostly interesting, the time they spend on screen is well used to give a decent personality to the secondary characters, obviously the protagonist is much better built, since he is the only one who is given a certain degree of depth by gradually detailing different aspects of his present and his past. Another element that is very well developed is the information that the characters possess, this is because it becomes a crucial piece for the plot, being that on many occasions it is exposed how the information about someone or something was obtained. I find it pleasant the fact that it does not establish from the first moment an antagonist just because, but that some character occupies that position depending on the path that the plot follows because his actions or objectives led him to that. All this leads to the fact that in general terms everyone finds an acceptable characterization, being evident that some shine brighter than others.
La cinta plantea pocos personajes pero estos son en su mayoría interesantes, el tiempo que pasan en pantalla es bien empleado para darles una personalidad decente a los personajes secundarios, evidentemente el protagonista se encuentra mucho mejor construido, ya que es el único que se le da cierto grado de profundidad al detallar paulatinamente diferentes aspectos de su presente y de su pasado. Otro elemento que está muy bien desarrollado es la información que poseen los personajes, esto se debe a que se torna en una pieza crucial para la trama, siendo que en muchas ocasiones se expone como se obtuvo la información sobre alguien o algo. Me parece agradable el hecho de que no establece desde un primer momento a un antagonista solo porque sí, sino que algún personaje ocupa dicho puesto dependiendo del camino que siga la trama debido a que sus acciones u objetivos lo llevaron a eso. Todo esto conlleva a que en términos generales todos se encuentren con una caracterización aceptable siendo evidente que algunos brillan más que otros.

The Outfit is a captivating film from the beginning, its greatest virtue being its simplicity because it exposes few elements to which it tries to get the most out of them, the most memorable thing about this is how it excellently justifies many of the elements and events that it houses so that a logical explanation is mostly handled. All this leads it to deserve a rating of 4.5 stars out of 7, the best mobster film I have seen this year and undoubtedly a mandatory appointment for those lovers of the genre.
The Outfit es una película atrapante desde el vamos, siendo su mayor virtud su simpleza debido a que expone pocos elementos a los que trata de sacarles el mayor provecho posible, lo más memorable de esta es el cómo justifica de forma excelente muchos de los elementos y sucesos que alberga para que mayormente se maneje una explicación lógica. Todo ello lo lleva a merecer una calificación de 4.5 estrellas de 7, la mejor película de mafiosos que haya visto este año y sin duda una cita obligatoria para aquellos amantes del género.
