Being in one of the most beautiful holiday of the year, never miss the opportunity to see a movie with the theme of Christmas, is that they make arouse as a kind of nostalgia, it's like a magic that springs to see these styles of films. Even more, when they are from some time ago, in my case The Santa Clause, is one of my favorite Christmas movies and it is the one I want to participate in the contest of CineTV
The Santa Clause
Under the direction of John Pasquin, produced by Robert Newmyer, Brian Reilly and Jeffrey Silver, and written by Leo Benvenuti and Steve Rudnick, released for the year 1994. Its production studio was Walt Disney Pictures and starred Tim Allen.
The story focuses on the character of Scott Calvin, a successful executive, divorced father, who has his son Charlie, who has lost the belief that Santa Claus exists and this is due to the influence of his stepfather, a psychiatrist who breaks his illusions and discourages him to live the magic that Christmas has. Continuing, Charlie spends that Christmas Eve with his father, they have dinner in a restaurant, because the food ends up burning and when they were going to sleep, they hear some kind of footsteps on the roof; Scott looks outside the house and there was a fat man, dressed in red, with white hair and beard.
From the impression, because Scott yells at him thinking he was a thief, he falls from the ceiling, and on the floor, little by little the fat man's body begins to fade, leaving only the suit. A magical adventure will be seen in this film, suitable for children and the whole family; a classic to be honest, it has its charm and I find it beautiful, super fun, with a touch of irony that always characterizes some of the characters that Tim Aleen has played. It really is a light film, which allows you to live that process in which the main character is getting into the role of his life, a very heavy role one could say, and that is to bring joy to the hearts of children.
When I was looking for information about the direction and other technical details, I did not know that in 2022 they had released a series of this film in Disney Plus and with the same actors (I already wanted to see it). I feel that it is one of those Christmas films that reminds us that children should be allowed to be children, to live that beautiful magic that these dates bring us, to let them believe, that after all, it does not harm on a large scale, each stage has to be lived in the best way and in its time and best of all, that makes you feel it in a very humorous atmosphere.
A captivating story that you can not miss for these dates, to me it makes me feel again a child waiting for her Christmas gift, although there are details that, for the time is understandable, it does not fail to convey those issues that should not be left aside and is to be responsible, keep the promises made, learn to listen to others, especially to their children and, above all, not stop believing.

Estando en una de la fiesta más bonita del año, nunca se pierde la oportunidad de ver una película con la temática de Navidad, es que hacen suscitar como una especie de nostalgia, es como una magia que brota al ver esos estilos de filmes. Más aún, cuando estas son de hace un tiempo, en mi caso Santa Clausula, es una de mis películas favoritas navideñas y es con la que quiero participar para el concurso de CineTV

Bajo la dirección de John Pasquin, producida por Robert Newmyer, Brian Reilly y Jeffrey Silver, y escrita por Leo Benvenuti y Steve Rudnick, estrenada para el año 1994. Su estudio de producción fue Walt Disney Pictures y protagonizada por Tim Allen.
La historia nos centra en el personaje de Scott Calvin, un exitoso ejecutivo, padre divorciado, quien tiene a su hijo Charlie, mismo que a perdido la creencia de que Santa Claus existe y esto se debe a la influencia de su padrastro, un psiquiatra que le rompe las ilusiones y lo desmotiva a vivir esa magia que tiene la Navidad. Siguiendo, Charlie pasa esa nochebuena junto su padre, cenan en un restaurante, porque se termina quemando la comida y cuando ya se iban a dormir, escuchan como unas especies de pisadas en el techo; Scott se asoma afuera de la casa y en ello, estaba un hombre gordo, vestido de rojo, con cabello y barba blanca.
De la impresión, porque Scott le grita creyendo que era un ladrón, cae del techo, y en el suelo, poco a poco el cuerpo del hombre gordo empieza a desvanecerse, solo quedando el traje. Scott toma una tarjeta, que se encuentra dentro del traje la cual dice “Si algo me pasa, póngase mi traje, los renos sabrán qué hacer. Pues sí, nada mas y nada menos, el señor gordo era Santa Claus y desde este punto, Scott asumirá ese cargo, lo que en un principio creía que no era su vocación, terminará por asombrarlo, más de lo que se podría imaginar.
Una aventura mágica se verá en esta película, apta para niños y toda la familia; un clásico para ser sincera, tiene su encanto y me parece hermosa, super divertida, con su toque de ironía que siempre caracteriza algunos de los personajes que ha interpretado a Tim Aleen. Realmente es un filme ligero, que te permite vivir ese proceso en el que personaje principal se va adentrando en el rol de su vida, un rol muy pesado se podría decir y es llevar alegría al corazón de los niños.
La película tuvo en su momento 3 entregas, cuando busqué información sobre la dirección y demás detalles técnicos, no sabía que habían estrenado en el 2022 una serie de este filme en Disney Plus y con los mismos actores (ya me dieron ganas de verla). Siento que es de esas cintas navideñas que recuerda que los niños hay que dejarlo ser niños, que vivan esa magia tan bonita que nos trae estas fechas, en dejarlos creer, que al fin y a cabo, no perjudica en gran escala, cada etapa se tiene que vivir de la mejor manera y a su tiempo y lo mejor de todo, que te lo hace sentir en un ambiente de mucho humor.
Una cautivadora historia que no te puedes perder para estas fechas, a mi me hace sentir otra vez una niña que espera su regalo de Navidad, aunque hay detalles que, por la época es entendible, no deja de transmitir esos temas que no se deben dejar de un lado y es del ser responsable, cumplir las promesas hechas, el aprender a escuchar al otro, más aún a sus hijos y, sobre todo, el no dejar de creer.
