SERIE:THE SINNER
Friends, how are you doing, don't think I'm forgetting about this series, The Sinner, I tell you that I finished the last two seasons, I will talk about them both, in this post, I can only tell you, that if you ask me which one I like more, I will definitely take the first season, and the other three, I felt them as filler, as to extend the story a little more.
The interesting thing about this series, was the connection that the policeman had with each victim, and where they hid a secret, a past, they had a life full of traumas, just like him, hence the connection, this series was based more than anything else is to show us the traumas of the past, how they end up affecting our present and future.
Season three:
A man with a split personality
In this third season, we see again the detective Ambrose, with a new investigation, in which a man dies suspiciously in a car accident.
In this part everything is confusing, at first glance, it looks like a simple accident, but for the detective, it was not so, for him there were certain inconsistencies, with respect to the person who managed to survive in this accident, he was not convinced by his story, he felt that there was something else.
A man who seemed to be a normal, ordinary person, a history professor Jamie Burns (Matt Bomer), married to a beautiful woman, expecting their first child, nice, attractive, any woman would fall at his feet, and how not to do it, with those eyes, that fall in love.
The point is that behind a pretty face, we do not know what is there, this man so charismatic and good, had a story to tell, in my opinion, had many repressed feelings, and perhaps this detonated something in him, with this accident, and all that it implied, it was like the beginning of something, or rather, the restart, of something that he had kept in the past.
Here we see how both characters intersect, where detective Ambrose meets this man, where he sees a man in pain, tortured, with a mystery that makes him seek to reveal it, to somehow stop it, even if he has to fight his own demons.
Somehow Harry felt identified with Jamie, which was a real conflict for him, because he felt dragged into this murky, traumatic, and senseless world, it is here where this detective had to fight with his police morals, to stop this man, and prevent him from committing more crimes.
We all have a past, traumas, as children, young people, that sometimes we would like to forget, let go and leave behind, we feel alone, abandoned, however, this can not be a reason to want to end our lives, or the lives of others, the truth I did not understand very well, Jamie's motives, to do what he did, it was clear that he was confused, going through something murky, and his mind betrayed him, in short, the mind sometimes tends to be our worst enemy.
Season four:
An island hides a secret
In the third season, this encounter with Jamie was very hard for Ambrose, to such an extent that he agreed to retire, because at the beginning we see that this man was reluctant to do it, to leave his job, it was the only thing he had, I guess he couldn't imagine doing anything else.
However, like any good detective, and to continue giving rein to this series, we find a new case, on an island, where everything seemed normal, quiet, but as I mentioned, everything is what it seems, why is this?
In this new occasion, a year after having retired from the police, this detective, travels to an island with his partner (a woman he met through his last case), to relax a little, when suddenly an unexpected event happens with a young girl, it is here where all this tangle begins, a new investigation, with a new mystery to discover.
It's interesting to see, how this man is the only one who sees these traces, these signs, that something doesn't add up, if all cops were like this, the world would be a different place, but well, the point is that, again we see a story, with traumatic events, drama, mystery, an unsolved death.
Undoubtedly this series, entertains, has its touch of suspense, and somehow a hidden message, everything we keep inside, no matter how much we want to forget about it, sooner or later, it reaches us, consumes us, and affects us, and that perfect, normal world, that we try to maintain, can collapse, in a matter of seconds.
A tormented man, a difficult life, is what we are shown in this series, and how he himself is attracted to all these cases that in some way, he is involved with his past and his traumas.
Well, I can only say, that nothing like the first season, even so, the series catches you, and makes you want to keep watching it, fortunately, they realized that they could no longer take it out, and left it until here, I think it was enough, both for the viewer and the plot of this series, to not give it more continuity.

Amigos, como me les va, no crean que me olvide de esta serie, The Sinner, les cuento que me termine las dos últimas temporadas, les hablaré de las dos, en este post, solo puedo decirles, que si me preguntan cuál me gusto más, sin duda me quedo con la primera temporada, ya las otras tres, las sentí de relleno, como para alargar un poco más la historia.
Lo interesante de esta serie, era la conexión que tenía el policía con cada víctima, y donde estos, escondían un secreto, un pasado, tuvieron una vida llena de traumas, al igual que él, de allí dicha conexión, esta serie se basó más que todo es mostrarnos los traumas del pasado, como terminan afectando nuestro presente y futuro.
Tercera Temporada:
Un hombre con doble personalidad
En esta tercera temporada, vemos de nuevo al detective Ambrose, con una nueva investigación, en el que un hombre muere de forma sospechosa en un accidente automovilístico.
En esta parte todo es confuso, a primera instancia, se ve como un simple accidente, pero para el detective, no era asi, para él existía ciertas incongruencias, con respecto a la persona que logro sobrevivir en este accidente, no le convencía su relato, sentía que había algo más.
Un hombre que parecía ser una persona normal, común y corriente, un profesor de historia Jamie Burns (Matt Bomer), casado con una hermosa mujer, en espera de su primer hijo, simpático, atractivo, cualquier mujer caería rendida a sus pies, y como no hacerlo, con esos ojos, que enamoran.
El punto es que detrás de una cara bonita, no sabemos qué hay, este hombre tan carismático y bueno, tenía una historia que contar, a mi parecer, tenía muchos sentimientos reprimidos, y quizás esto detono algo en él, con este accidente, y todo lo que implico, fue como el inicio de algo, o mejor dicho, el reinicio, de algo que tenía guardado en el pasado.
Aquí vemos como ambos personajes se cruzan, donde el detective Ambrose se encuentra con este hombre, donde ve un hombre dolorido, torturado, con un misterio que lo hace buscar revelarlo, de alguna forma detenerlo, aunque deba luchar con sus propios demonios.
De alguna forma Harry se sentía identificado con Jamie, lo que era un verdadero conflicto para él, porque se sentía arrastrado a este mundo turbio, traumático, y sin sentido, es aquí donde este detective tenía que luchar con su moral policial, para detener a este hombre, y evitar que cometiera más crímenes.
Todos tenemos un pasado, traumas, de niños, jóvenes, que a veces quisiéramos olvidar, soltar y dejar atrás, nos sentimos solos, abandonados, sin embargo, esto no puede ser motivo para querer acabar con nuestra vida, o con la vida de los demás, la verdad no entendí muy bien, los motivos de Jamie, para hacer lo que hizo, era claro que estaba confundido, pasando por algo turbio, y su mente lo traicionaba, en fin, la mente a veces suele ser nuestra peor enemiga.
Cuarta Temporada:
Una isla oculta un secreto
En la tercera temporada, este encuentro con Jamie fue muy duro para Ambrose, a tal punto, que acepto retirarse, ya que al principio vemos que este hombre estaba renuente a hacerlo, dejar su trabajo, era lo único que tenía, supongo que no se imaginaba haciendo otra cosa.
Sin embargo, como todo buen detective, y para seguir dándole rienda a esta serie, nos encontramos con un nuevo caso, en una isla, donde todo parecía normal, tranquilo, pero como ya les mencione, no todo es lo que parece, ¿por qué será esto?
En esta nueva ocasión, un año después de haberse retirado de la policía, este detective, viaja a una isla con su pareja (una mujer que conoció a través de su último caso), para relajarse un poco, cuando de repente ocurre un evento inesperado con una joven chica, es aquí donde empieza todo este enredo, una nueva investigación, con nuevo misterio que descubrir.
Es interesante ver, como este hombre es el único que ve estos rastros, estas señales, de que algo no cuadra, si todos los policías fueran asi, el mundo sería otro, pero bueno, el punto es que, nuevamente vemos una historia, con eventos traumáticos, drama, misterio, una muerte sin resolver.
Sin duda esta serie, entretiene, tiene su toque de suspenso, y de alguna forma un mensaje oculto, todo lo que guardamos por dentro, por más que queramos olvidarnos de eso, tarde o temprano, nos alcanza, nos consume, y nos afecta, y ese mundo perfecto, normal, que tratamos de mantener, se puede derrumbar, en cuestión de segundos.
Un hombre atormentado, una vida difícil, es lo que nos muestran en esta serie, y como el mismo es atraído a todos estos casos que de alguna forma, se ve envuelto con su pasado y sus traumas.
Pues bien, solo me queda decir, que nada como la primera temporada, aun asi, la serie te atrapa, y te hace querer seguir viéndola, afortunadamente, se dieron cuenta de que ya no podían sacarle, y la dejaron hasta aquí, creo que fue suficiente, tanto para el espectador como la trama de esta serie, para no darle más continuidad.
