Valkyrie from 2008 - a dramatic historical film directed by Bryan Singer.

**Greetings to all the people from all over the world who are present in this wonderful and fantastic futuristic platform. In this post i will try to expose a small review of a movie i recently discovered - i hope you enjoy this**

The film is called in my country, Operation Valkyrie or simply Valkyrie from 2008 - it is a war film, historical directed by Bryan Singer, which exposes only a small part of the events that took place on July 20, 1944 (when a handful of officers Nazis had an assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler).

**In general, i'm not attracted to this kind of films in which one wants to expose the historical Hitlerist figure. But still, having nothing to do with my free time, i discovered through the collection of films of a friend, a DVD with the title of this film, Valkyrie. Ok, honestly without reading that little summary on the back of the CD case, i quickly borrowed the video, only having that impression full of enthusiasm that i have an amazing film production about those creatures that belong to Norse mythology. Those primordial beings, the Walkirs who were said to have served the god Odin. You will realize what i was expecting (a movie only with Vikings, gods and their creatures - ahh with many scenes full of more and more fantastic ⚔🙂battles) but, to my surprise the movie started with that something, which i keep to avoided for a long, long time - upsss😁😂, a real historical drama.** **Ok, that's it - i was thinking of giving a chance to those who really struggled a lot to play those roles of the Nazi period and i continue to watch. So, i continued on, and after a few more good minutes the film started to capture my full attention. I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that this cinematic title that i recommend - is a very special artistic film, inspired by real facts. Almost as authentic a historical document as possible - so, i can say that to my surprise, i really liked the film.** ![img_0.5337484482154948.jpg](https://images.ecency.com/DQmX1GHoorNpydU8pXVWBEMEsyR2uafRAdZaSkfheank5Et/img_0.5337484482154948.jpg) **So, what else .... I enjoyed watching this movie - a good script and a remarkable acting presence. An exceptional historical film, one that is definitely worth watching at least once in this precious life.** **A little summary** >*The film features an operation called Valkyrie - a special operation led by veteran officer and war hero Claus von Stauffenberg (played by Tom Cruise), left without an eye and a hand during the fighting in North Africa, involving other key members of the military hierarchy (played by Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Eddie Izzard and Terence Stamp), all with high ranks and direct access to Hitler's circle of relatives. Ohoo this special group are exposed as heroes, who were not afraid of anything. More than that is not worth offering, because i don't want to destroy your curiosity.*

The important thing is that from a historical point of view, Germany at that time was about to lose the war, which was understood by many at that time. These brave officers wanted nothing more than the speedy end of that cruel war that never seemed to end. They plan to kill Hitler and those close to him, and then a new government will be formed with as little bloodshed as possible. From my point of view, they tried to save many lives, but for all those who have not seen the film so far - learn from me that things will end in a rather dramatic way.

**To see how this film, inspired by a true life story, ends or how the whole action of those historical characters unfolds, all you have to do is give yourself about 120 minutes of your personal life. The film will surely whet the appetite of those interested in what Nazism meant, or perhaps you simply want to know more about how Hitler was viewed in his own country.**

Take🙂 care of your valuable time. Cheers🙋‍♂️ to everyone🌍
