   A while ago I brought you the review of this wonderful anime that has me hooked (even though, as I've told you, I don't usually watch anime series, only movies) but the fact is that there were too many things that attracted me to this series: the aesthetics, the theme and above all the plot, in fact here below I will leave you a link to my previous review so you can understand what it's about and can get more information about the entire anime in general, since in this post I would like to focus especially on episode 7 to do an in-depth analysis, because I find it quite interesting and worthy of taking into account.

   Hace tiempo traje para ustedes la review de este maravilloso anime que me tiene enganchada (a pesar de que, como yo les he dicho a ustedes, no suelo ver series de anime, sino solo películas) pero el caso es que fueron demasiadas las cosas que me atrajeron de esta serie: la estética, la temática y sobre todo el argumento, de hecho aquí debajo les dejaré un enlace con mi anterior review para que puedan comprender de qué se trata y puedan obtener más información sobre todo el anime en general, ya que en este post me gustaría enfocarme especialmente en el episodio 7 para hacer un análisis profundo, debido a que me resulta bastante interesante y digno de tomar muy en cuenta.

   Review de Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead

   I find this episode important for several reasons, first of all because it delves into human emotions when they’re pushed to the limit. As I mentioned in my previous review, this anime is practically a critique of the Japanese culture’s obsession with work and perfection. Because of all this, Akira (the protagonist) views the zombie apocalypse as a way to escape the tedium and routine; now he would have the opportunity to make his own decisions and do whatever he wants. In fact, he even drew up a list of 100 things he’d like to do before becoming a zombie, but why would he have to become one? Despite his newfound determination, Akira seems resigned to a bleak future, right? But why? The answer might lie in his upbringing: we often follow old family patterns or let ourselves be swayed by others’ perceptions of us, to the point of letting them think we’re only good for this or that. However, little by little Akira realized what he was capable of doing away from his parents and, above all, his despotic and selfish boss; being on his own gave him tremendous confidence, helped him believe in himself, and reaffirmed his inner strength. But what happens when he reunites with his boss in episode 7, titled “Truck Stop of the Dead”?

   Este episodio me parece importante por varias razones, en primer lugar porque profundiza en las emociones humanas cuando son llevadas al límite. Tal como les dije en la review anterior, este anime es prácticamente una crítica a esa cultura de obsesión con el trabajo y la perfección que tienen los japoneses, debido a todo esto, Akira (el protagonista) toma el apocalipsis zombie como una medida de escape contra el tedio y la rutina, ahora tendría la oportunidad de tomar sus propias decisiones y hacer lo que desee, de hecho incluso elaboró una lista de las 100 cosas que le gustaría realizar antes de convertirse en un zombie, pero ¿Por qué tendría que convertirse en uno? A pesar de su nueva determinación Akira parece resignarse a un futuro nada alentador, ¿cierto? pero ¿Por qué? la respuesta podría estar en su crianza, muchas veces seguimos viejos patrones familiares, o nos dejamos llevar por esa idea que los demás tienen sobre nosotros, hasta el punto de dejar que piensen que solo servimos para esto o para aquello. Sin embargo, poco a poco Akira se fue dando cuenta de lo que era capaz de hacer lejos de sus padres y sobre todo su jefe déspota y egoísta, andar por su cuenta le generó una confianza tremenda, le ayudó a creer en si mismo y a reafirmar su fuerza interna, pero ¿Qué ocurre cuando él se reencuentra con su jefe en el episodio 7 titulado "Truck Stop of the Dead"?

   While they are on the road Akira and her friends meet Kosugi (Akira's former boss), who ruined the trailer and hurt Kenichiro, with the intention of repairing the damage and then making Akira work for him (he did it without knowing it was Akira because it is something he used to do with everyone since the pandemic) but when he realized that it was his former subordinate he was happy to humiliate and mistreat him again, before this Akira suffers a regression, letting Kosugi trample on his dignity, he begins to think again that he only exists to serve, that he cannot look beyond what he is ordered to do, and this is where something arises that catches my attention, seeing all this allows Shizuka delve into her own past where we see flashback images of her father speaking to her in almost the same way that Kosugi does to Akira, and this gives the girl the impetus to say a speech that makes Akira come out of that emotional trance that prevents her from seeing her own capabilities, which leads us to a wonderful character development

   Mientras van por el camino Akira y sus amigos se encuentran con Kosugi (el antiguo jefe de Akira), quién arruinó la casa rodante y lastimó a Kenichiro, con la intención de reparar los daños y hacer que luego Akira trabajara para él (lo hizo sin saber que se trataba de Akira porque es algo que solía hacer con todo el mundo a partir de la pandemia) pero cuando se dio cuenta de que se trataba de su anterior subordinado estuvo feliz de volver a humillarlo y maltratarlo, ante esto Akira sufre una regresión, dejando que Kosugi pisoteé su dignidad, comienza pensar de nuevo que solo existe para servir, que no puede mirar más allá de lo que le ordenan a hacer, y es aquí donde surge algo que me llama la atención, ver todo esto le permite a Shizuka hurgar en su propio pasado donde vemos imágenes flashback de su padre hablándole casi en la misma forma en que Kosugui lo hace con Akira, y esto le da el impulso a la muchacha para decir un discurso que hace que Akira salga de ese trance emocional que le impide ver sus propias capacidades, lo cuál nos conduce a un maravilloso desarrollo de personajes

   Why does this happen? Because many times we need another person to make us understand our own position, especially when you're used to thinking you can't decide for yourself. Shizuka was able to identify the manipulation because she herself was a victim of that same abuse, and she wasn't willing to tolerate it, she needed to vent, and her speech was decisive in activating the seed of the insurgency. But on the other hand, I'm pleasantly struck by the thought that this episode could be inspired by The Walking Dead (another series I love) since Kosugui acts the same way Negan did (intimidating the most vulnerable, with foul language, he even has a bat and a leather jacket 😁) but at the same time it reminds me of the police in season five, who used to hurt people with the intention of getting them to work for them later. All this confirms a very true statement: "It is better to fear the living than the dead," since it is the living people who act in a threatening manner out of greed or simply evil.

   ¿Por qué sucede esto? Porque muchas veces necesitamos que otra persona nos haga entender nuestra propia posición, sobre todo cuando estás acostumbrado a pensar que no puedes decidir por ti mismo, Shizuka pudo identificar la manipulación porque ella misma fue victima de ese mismo maltrato, y no estaba dispuesta a tolerarlo, necesitaba desahogarse y su discurso fue determinante para activar la semilla de la insurgencia. Pero por otra parte me llama la atención gratísimamente pensar que este episodio podría estar inspirado en The Walking Dead (otra serie que me encanta) ya que Kosugui actúa de la misma manera que lo hacía Negan (amedrentando a los más vulnerables, con un lenguaje soez, incluso tiene un bate y chaqueta de cuero 😁) pero al mismo tiempo me recuerda a los policías de la temporada cinco, los cuales acostumbraban lastimar a las personas con al intención de que luego trabajaran para ellos. Todo esto ratifica una afirmación muy cierta "Es mejor temerle a los vivos que a los muertos" ya que son las personas vivas quienes actúan de forma amenazante por avaricia o simplemente por maldad.

   For this reason, I think Kosugi represents the traumas and fears we carry inside from the past, and that we must face in order to move forward and truly free ourselves. Who says we are not capable? When Shizuka showed Akira her own list, it reminded him of his achievements and projects. This reaffirmed that he had more than enough reasons to free himself and experience again the happiness of making his own decisions, doing what he wants, in other words, living fully without allowing others to take advantage of him.

   Por esta razón pienso que Kosugi representa los traumas y miedos que llevamos en nuestro interior desde el pasado, y que debemos enfrentar para poder avanzar y liberarnos realmente ¿Quién dice que no somos capaces? Cuando Shizuka le mostró a Akira su propia lista le recordó sus logros y proyectos, esto le reafirmó que tenía razones de sobra para liberarse y volver a experimentar la felicidad de tomar sus propias decisiones, hacer lo que desee, es decir, vivir a plenitud sin permitir que otros se aprovechen de él.

   In conclusion, this episode is a metaphor for what freedom, determination and self-love mean, the discovery of one's true identity and the importance of learning to say no, so for everything explained here, in this post, this episode has become my favorite so far. What do you think?

   Welcome my dear exploited travelers and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, a while ago I had commented that I had a zombie anime in the bedroom to review (I had completely forgotten to bring it hahaha) that is why today it is time to take a tour of the streets of Japan but in an animated version and plagued by zombies through the anime "Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead". Without further ado, get ready to enter a world full of undead cannibals because we are about to begin.

   Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros explotados laboralmente y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, hace un tiempo había comentado que tenía un anime de zombies en la recámara para reseñar (Se me había olvidado completamente traerlo jajaja) es por ello que hoy toca darle una vuelta a las calles de Japón pero en versión animada y plagada de zombies mediante el anime “Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead”.    The animation is curious, from the Voos it is shown with a pleasant quality, however, its most remarkable point is the use of all types of bright colors to make the combat scenes have a different nuance to what this type of series usually present, the use of the CGI is decent, it does not stand out for being fantastic but at least it is not a complete disaster.

   La animación es curiosa, desde el vamos la misma se muestra con una calidad agradable, sin embargo, su punto más destacable es el uso de todo tipo de colores vivos para hacer que las escenas de combate tengan un matiz diferente a lo que este tipo de series suelen presentar, el uso del CGI es decente, el mismo no destaca por ser fantástico pero por lo menos no es un completo desastre.

   The soundtrack is not very striking, it passes without pain or glory as it is an element lacking relevance or weight within the narrative, there is not much more to highlight from this section.

   The construction of the world is very curious, the above is not based on the setting per se but on how it exposes Japanese society in the workplace and the pressures that it exerts on its citizens, absolutely at all times the concept of labor exploitation, social pressure and depression make it suitable for presence, This not only applies to the protagonist only, rather it is a general theme that is present and extended throughout its context, not only as a theme in the air but as something that intervenes both in its construction of the world and in its plot.

   La construcción de mundo es muy curiosa, lo anterior no se sustenta en la ambientación per se sino en cómo expone a la sociedad japonesa en el ámbito laboral y las presiones que la misma ejerce sobre sus ciudadanos, absolutamente en todo momento el concepto de explotación laboral, presión social y depresión hacen apto de presencia, esto no solo aplica para el protagonista únicamente, más bien es un tema general que se encuentra presente y extendido en todo su contexto, no solo como un tema en el aire sino como algo que interviene tanto en su construcción de mundo como en su trama.

   The plot is striking, the above is not due only to the confrontations against zombies and the fact that the threat of being infected is present, something quite interesting by itself is incidentally, the issue is that issues such as depression and labor dissatisfaction are the order of the day. Narratively does not have much to highlight, however, and in general, the series is used as a means to denote the constant pressures to which Japanese citizens are exposed, as well as the general fears to follow their own path for fear of being a disappointment before society and before the family, all this gives a layer both depressive and encouraging to the series, since it shows how the apocalypse zombie raz of freedom to their survivors, this oscillation between fighting against the waiting dead and a social criticism of the pressures to which the average citizen is submitted are what make the series digestible.

   La trama es llamativa, lo anterior no se debe únicamente a los enfrentamientos contra los zombies y el hecho de que la amenaza de ser infectado se encuentre presente, algo bastante interesante por si solo dicho sea de paso, el tema es que temas como la depresión y la insatisfacción laboral están a la orden del día. Narrativamente no tiene mucho que destacar, no obstante, y en general, la serie se utiliza como un medio para denotar las presiones constantes a las que se encuentran expuestos los ciudadanos japoneses, así como los temores generales por seguir un camino propio por miedo a ser una decepción ante la sociedad y ante la familia, todo esto le da una capa tanto depresiva como alentadora a la serie, puesto que se muestra como el apocalipsis zombie arraso con todo pero también les dio algo más de libertad a sus sobrevivientes, esta oscilación entre pelear contra los muertos vivientes y una crítica social ante las presiones a las que se somete el ciudadano promedio son las que hacen que la serie sea digerible.

   There is not much to highlight from their characters, in general, both protagonists and antagonists represent the same concept, the fact of having to face a hard social and work context, in which they could have suffered the pressure of it or directly fail to fit, out of the above there is not much personality or characterization for any of them so they only serve to represent a situation more than to feel as interesting individuals.

   No hay mucho que destacar de sus personajes, en líneas generales, tanto protagonistas como antagonistas representan un mismo concepto, el hecho de haber tenido que afrontar un duro contexto social y laboral, en los cuales pudieron haber sufrido la presión del mismo o directamente no conseguir encajar, fuera de lo anterior no hay mucha personalidad ni caracterización para ninguno de ellos por lo que solo sirven para representar una situación más que para sentirse como individuos interesantes.

   
   

   

   Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is not the typical zombie anime since the survival of its characters is not the main objective, which highlights it is the social criticism that houses both the general pressure that the Japanese live as well as their labor system, beyond the above, it has nothing more than it does interesting. It is for all the above that 3 stars of 7 deserve, it is curious how some of your country's social problems represents but it is not a conceptual enough concept to load with all the narrative weight of the anime.

   Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead no es el típico anime de zombies puesto que la supervivencia de sus personajes no es el objetivo principal, lo que lo hace destacar es la crítica social que alberga tanto a la presión general que viven los japoneses así como su sistema laboral, fuera de lo anterior no tiene mucho más que lo haga interesante. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3 estrellas de 7, es curioso cómo representa alguno de los problemas sociales de su país pero no es un concepto lo suficientemente llamativo como para cargar con todo el peso narrativo del anime.

   This series, which I recently found on Netflix, has me in awe, not only because it's about zombies, something I love about the horror genre, but because it presents a totally different premise than usual and also leaves us with a great reflection worth analyzing.

   Esta serie que encontré hace poco tiempo en Netflix me tiene maravillada, no solo porque trata sobre zombies, algo que me encanta en el género terror, sino porque nos presenta una premisa totalmente diferente a lo acostumbrado y además nos deja con una gran reflexión digna de analizar.

   Overview/Resumen

   The anime shows us the life of Akira Tendo, a young man who starts working with great enthusiasm, but then becomes filled with frustration and disappointment due to an excessive workload: days without sleep, monotonous work, ungrateful bosses, little consideration from these bosses who do not even care about the health of the workers, in short, he feels trapped in a loop from which he cannot get out, until finally something extraordinary happens, nothing more and nothing less than a zombie apocalypse, so Akira, instead of being scared or bewildered by this, is immensely happy because he finally will not have to go to work, therefore, seeing himself free, he makes a list of things to do before becoming a zombie.

   El anime nos muestra la vida de Akira Tendo, un joven que empieza a trabajar con gran entusiasmo, pero que luego se llena de frustración y decepción ante una excesiva carga horaria de trabajo: días sin dormir, trabajo monótono, jefes desagradecidos, poca consideración por parte de estos jefes a los que ni siquiera les importa la salud de los trabajadores, en fin, se siente atrapado en un bucle del que no puede salir, hasta que finalmente algo extraordinario sucede, nada más y nada menos que un apocalipsis zombie, así que Akira, en lugar de estar asustado o desconcertado ante esto, se alegra inmensamente porque al fin no tendrá que ir a trabajar, por lo tanto al verse libre, elabora una lista de cosas por hacer antes de convertirse en un zombie.

   My Opinion/Mi Opinión

   Phew! The truth is that I think what got me hooked on this anime was the fact that I felt completely identified with Akira when I remembered the years I spent working for bosses similar to his. It's true that at the beginning you start off with enthusiasm and a lot of motivation, you want to stand out and give your best, but later, when you see that your work is not valued, that you are only taken into account to work as much as possible for very little or no recognition, this demoralizes you quite a bit and makes you feel trapped and above all enslaved, and this is very important because it is the main premise of the anime, it is a criticism of the culture of overwork in Japan, and it is something that I have been able to confirm through videos of people who live in Japan or are Japanese, since everything that I had previously seen there is in the anime. Workers technically have a certain number of vacation days, but the Japanese prefer not to take them all in order to leave some days they can use when they need them, such as attending their children's school events. This doesn't seem fair to me because on this side of the world, at least in my country, companies are required to grant days off for cases like these.

   ¡Ufff! La verdad es que creo que lo que me enganchó a este anime fue el hecho de que me sentí completamente identificada con Akira al recordar los años que pasé trabajando para jefes similares a los de él, es verdad que al inicio empiezas con entusiasmo y mucha motivación, quieres destacar y dar lo mejor de ti, pero posteriormente, al ver que tu trabajo no es valorado, que solo te toman en cuenta para trabajar tanto como sea posible por muy poco o nada de reconocimiento, esto te desmoraliza bastante y te hace sentir atrapado y sobre todo esclavizado, y esto es muy importante porque es la premisa principal del anime, es una crítica a la cultura del exceso de trabajo en Japón, y es algo que he podido confirmar mediante videos de personas que viven en Japón o son japoneses, ya que todo lo que yo había visto previamente allí está en el anime. Los trabajadores técnicamente cuentan con unos días determinados de vacaciones, pero los japoneses prefieren no tomarlos completos para dejar algunos días que pueden usar cuando los necesiten, como por ejemplo asistir a reuniones escolares de sus hijos, lo que no me parece justo porque de este lado del mundo, al menos en mi país, las empresas están obligadas a otorgar días libres para casos como estos.

   In this sense, for Akira, zombies represent freedom and relief, since he no longer has to follow a specific routine: get up early, take the subway, sit in front of the computer and dedicate himself to producing and producing without any rest. Now he has the possibility to explore at will, walk around the city and even meet people, although all the other characters are focused on surviving, and all of this is reflected in the animation and cinematography of the anime. If you look closely at the details you will realize that when Akira is at work the color palette is almost monochromatic and opaque, while when he is in the middle of the zombie apocalypse the palette offers a wider and more dynamic range of colors. In fact, the blood of the zombies and the people they attack is not necessarily red, but has various vibrant colors that serve to contrast with the oppression of corporate life that Akira previously had when he was one hundred percent focused on work.

   En este sentido, para Akira los zombies representan la libertad y el alivio, en vista de que ya no tiene que seguir una rutina específica: levantarse temprano, tomar el metro, sentarse frente a la computadora y dedicarse a producir y producir sin descanso alguno, ahora tiene la posibilidad de explorar a su antojo, recorrer la ciudad e incluso conocer gente, aunque todos los demás personajes estén enfocados en sobrevivir, y todo esto se refleja en la animación y la fotografía del anime. Si ustedes se fijan bien en los detalles se darán cuenta que cuando Akira está en el trabajo la paleta de colores es casi monocromática y opaca, mientras que cuando está en pleno apocalipsis zombie la paleta ofrece una gama de colores más extensa y dinámica, de hecho la sangre de los zombies y de las personas que atacan no es necesariamente roja, sino que tiene varios colores vibrantes que sirven para contrastar con la opresión de la vida corporativa que antes tenía Akira cuando estaba enfocado cien por ciento en el trabajo.

   Otra cosa muy interesante que nos exponen, es la perspectiva de cada persona al apocalipsis, dependiendo como era su vida antes de todo esto, ya que por ejemplo, akira, nuestro protagonista, está totalmente feliz de esta nueva realidad, y quiere cumplir ciertos objetivos antes de que se convierta en zombie y muera. Pero por otro lado tenemos a una chica llamada shizuka, la cual acompañara a nuestro protagonista muy de cerca, y vemos como esta al comienzo lo odiaba por su vida tan despreocupada, ya que ella busca mantenerse en forma y sobrevivir inteligentemente. Dos perspectivas completamente diferentes

Yo le doy un 7/10 bastante solido, ya que tambien me gusto muchos detalles que lograron con la animacion y en general con el dibujo

   Plot

   The anime introduces us to Akira, a boy in his early twenties who works as an office worker in an explorer company in Tokyo. He is completely discouraged and feels that his life and everything he worked for has no meaning, no emotion, no color. However, one day, an epidemic of zombies (living dead) strikes the big city and causes an apocalypse. Our protagonist, instead of being frightened by the situation, is excited, seeing the world now with color and meaning since he will not have to go to work anymore in his life.

   He decides to write down in a notebook a list of wishes he intends to fulfill before becoming a zombie (that's where the name of this anime comes from).    Far from being one of the best anime I've seen in 2023, what I can say and admire about this series is its animation style, which is very well done, as well as the incredible soundtrack (whose opening gur is one of the most listened to in 2023 and is one of my favorites), visual and sound effects it has. Taking into account that we are talking about a series of zombies, horror, gore, it is curious how they combine all this with comedy. And if that wasn't enough, let's add that it has such a colorful style that we often forget that it's a zombie anime.

   Among what fascinates me the most about this anime are also the first episodes, which were the ones that got a huge amount of praise and good reviews from both experts and fans. A summer both fresh and fun and natural, with a somewhat emotional and funny story in a post-apocalyptic world. While it may look a bit daunting at first, the plot evolves from gray to colorful in a moment that is simply unbeatable. Not to mention that both the protagonist and the other main characters add that entertaining touch to the story.

   Lejos de ser uno de los mejores animes que he visto en el 2023, lo mucho que puedo decir y admirar de esta serie es tanto su estilo de animación, el cual está muy bien hecho, como también la increíble banda sonora (la cual su Opening gur uno de los más escuchados del 2023 y es uno de mis favoritos), efectos visuales y de sonido que posee. Tomando en cuenta que estamos hablando de una serie de zombies, horror, gore, es curioso cómo combinan todo esto con la comedia. Y por si no fuera suficiente, añadamos que tiene un estilo tan colorido que muchas veces nos olvidamos de que es un anime de zombies.

   Entre lo que más me fascina de este anime también se encuentran los primeros episodios, los cuales fueron los que se llevaron una enorme cantidad de elogios y buenas críticas tanto de expertos como de los fanáticos. Un estío tanto fresco como divertido y natural, con una historia un tanto emotiva y divertida en un mundo postapocalíptico. Si bien al principio puede verse un tanto desalentador, la trama va evolucionando, tornándose de un tono gris a uno colorido en un momento que es simplemente insuperable. Esto, sin mencionar que tanto el protagonista como los demás personajes principales le dan ese toque entretenido a la historia.

   Moving on to the characters, I really like Akira as the main character since he is presented to us as a boy who lived without meaning or dreams and illusions in a routine life that literally consumed him (I surely felt identified with the character in some way or another at the time). Now, seeing him evolve from living a colorless life to enjoying life with so many possibilities in the midst of a zombie apocalypse while facing his deepest fears and trying to fulfill his dreams of being a hero is simply everything we expect and desire from a protagonist for an anime of this style.

   Now, on the subject of the other main characters, while some have the small detail of being sexualized several times with scenes that are somewhat explicit and bizarre, they also have a personality and a development that can be taken into account. And the good thing about this anime is that, although sometimes it feels a little slow, they actually focus on developing the characters well, telling us about their past, traumas, fears and dreams. All of this is done in order to bring together a team of adventurers who seek to fulfill their dreams and desires, before becoming zombies. Practically, this would be the summary of this anime, an anime worth watching, at least once in your life.

   Personally, I give myself a rating of 8/10 as far as the horror/supernatural comedy genre is concerned.

   Pasando con el tema de los personajes, me agrada mucho Akira como protagonista ya que este se nos presenta como un chico que vivía sin sentido ni sueños y ilusiones en una vida rutinaria que literalmente lo consumía (seguramente me sentí identificado con el personaje de alguna y otra manera en su momento). Ahora, verlo evolucionar, pasando de vivir una vida sin color a disfrutar de la vida con tantas posibilidades en medio de un apocalipsis zombie mientras se enfrenta a sus más profundos miedos e intenta cumplir con sus sueños de ser un héroe, es sencillamente todo lo que esperamos y deseamos de un protagonista para un anime de este estilo.

   Ahora, con el tema de los demás personajes principales, si bien algunos tienen el pequeño detalle de ser varias veces sexualizados con escenas un tanto explícitas como bizarras, también tienen una personalidad y un desarrollo que se le puede tomar en cuenta. Y lo bueno de este anime es que, si bien a veces se siente que va un poco lento, en realidad se enfocan en desarrollar bien a los personajes, contándonos su pasado, traumas, miedos y sueños. Todo esto lo hacen con la finalidad de reunir a un equipo de aventureros que buscan cumplir con sus sueños y deseos, antes de convertirse en zombies. Prácticamente, este sería el resumen de este anime, un anime que vale la pena ver, al menos una vez en tu vida.

   Personalmente, me doy una calificación de 8/10 en lo que respecta al género de la comedia de terror y sobrenatural.

   ZOM100 is an amazing anime not just because of the zombies, the running or fun but because of the lesson it passes. I’m not a person that watch anime for fun but I also watch to learn something from it and this is why I would recommend the anime for you.

   Akita is a very lively guy who was happy to have landed a job in the company of his dream. His main main is to be the best in the company so he can make an impact in his environment. He was very happy with his job, his new boss introduced him to his department’s and every other department so he can feel welcome. During his first day, he met the most beautiful lady he has seen in his life “Saori Ohtori”

   

   

   He fell in love with her that day, his first day was looking amazing already. Saori gave him some hint since she works in the finance department and asked him to come to her about anything finance related. Akita was having the best first day at work of his life. After the day was over, Akira was was thrown a welcome party, he was having fun while his eyes met with Saori. It was then he made the decision to impress her with his working skills then win her heart. Little did he know that the organization he had joined is the one that exploit their worker.

   After the party was over, Akira thought he would be heading home but instead, everyone was ushered back to work.

   

   And that was the start of his miserable life. The started working from the first day till the end of the second day without any stop. This went on for the first one year, he believed he will be able to pull through but reality dawn on him, he lost sense of all color and all he could see was black and white. He lacks sleep and all he was focused on was working and pleasing his boss.

   

   

   Akira life continues like this until something mysterious and strange happened. On his way to pay his due to his landlord, he found out that his landlord has already turned into a zombie and a zombie apocalypse had happened over night while he was asleep. He wasn’t sure what he was seeing

   

   But as soon as the zombie tried to attack him, he made a run from it and then he realized what is happened, during this realization he notice how beautiful his environment was, he realized how he had stop working for himself but for his boss. The realization that he doesn’t have to go to work again gave him an endless bound of joy. I was surprise a person would be happy at a zombie apocalypse.

   

   

   With the realization that he doesn’t have to go to work again. He started writing down list of things he had always wanted to do but has never gotten the chance because of his exploitative work. He started writing things down because everything is now at his disposal so long he doesn’t come in contact with the zombies. Along the way to make his new dream come through. He met some survivals along the way. Some of them were able to survive the full episode while other didn’t. Some other amazing characters in the anime are

   I'm not a fan of zombie movies and series, they really don't grab me at all, they don't scare me, nor amuse me, but I hadn't seen a premise like this one and it really grabbed me, I'll tell you a little bit: The protagonist of Zom 100 is Akira Tendo a boy who suffers from one of the greatest evils of Japan, overexploitation, he is totally psychologically destroyed, he does not see his family, he is not happy, everything in his life is dark, but one day he wakes up to go to the hellish job he has and when he leaves home he realizes that a zombie infection swept Japan...    Todo Zom 100 has a different feel to any Zombie movie I've seen before, the closest in tone and premise is the movie called ZOMBIELAND, because here all the gory and other horrible scenes are portrayed with a rainbow of colors to highlight everything horrible, it is something ironic but at the same time super interesting to see, because the nuance of terror is usually the darkness, so we talk about horror movies and series where everything is at night and with dark tones, lots of blood and red tones, while here everything happens in the light of day, and in the middle of a thousand colors.

   Hey amigos! ¿Como empezó su semana? ¡La pasada semana de enero fue bastante relajada entre muchas comillas y pude organizarme y ver varias cosas (series, películas y una que otro anime) y uno que vi fue Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead, cuando salió hace meses vi unos 3 episodios, pero lo abandone temporalmente por sus constantes retrasos (algo de lo que hablare mas adelante) pero ahora termine de verlo y tengo por fin mis impresiones finales sobre esta temporada y este anime!

   No soy un fanático de las películas y series de zombis, de verdad no me atrapan para nada, no me dan miedo, ni me divierten, pero no había visto una premisa como esta y realmente me atrapo, les cuento un poco: El protagonista de Zom 100 es Akira Tendo un chico que sufre uno de los mayores males de Japón, la sobrexplotación, está totalmente destruido psicológicamente, no ve a su familia, no es feliz, todo en su vida es oscuro, pero un día se despierta para ir al trabajo infernal que tiene y al salir de casa se da cuenta de que una infección zombie arraso con Japón… ASI QUE NO DEBE IR A TRABAJAR!

   Con esta premisa, nos muestran como Akira vuelve a sentirse feliz y libre mientras sobrevive a la horda zombie de Tokyo y como va aprendiendo a ser mejor sobreviviente y volver a vivir su vida, esta vez como alguien realmente feliz y esto es algo en lo que la obra se enfoca muchísimo, en como los diferentes personajes que nuestro protagonista se va encontrando sufren de algún mal o algún trauma generado por la toxicidad de la cultura japonesa.

   Aquí es donde entran los personajes secundarios, no hare mucho spoiler de la obra, pero para dar algún ejemplo, el mejor amigo de Akira parecía estar feliz en su día a día con su trabajo y luego del apocalipsis zombie, revela que siempre quiso ser comediante y que todo lo que mostraba a los demás era una farsa para no verse mal o que lo juzgaran, de esos tipos de problemas habla la obra.

   Apenas Akira se vuelve a conseguir con su mejor amigo y empiezan a viajar juntos, nuestro protagonista en un momento de reflexión decide hacer una lista de las 100 cosas que desea hacer antes de morir por los zombis, dándole una base al nombre del anime.

   Apenas comienzan su viaje aparecen otros personajes secundarios que aportaran a la trama, como Shizuka y Beatrix, la primera es una estratega de primera, pues desde niña su padre la obligo a pensar como un estratega para ver las ventajas y desventajas de todo, y Beatrix es una extranjera que llego a Japón antes del problema zombie, pero es una experta en Japón, pues se obsesiono con el país y aprendió todo lo que podía de él, entre todos nos muestran como se desarrolla esta aventura y como solucionan sus problemas al sobrevivir, eso sí, todo con un humor increíble y una estética de lo mejor.

   Un punto que me pareció interesante es como retratan los problemas acá, muestran como el humano, por una u otra razón son los causantes de todos los males que le pasan a las personas, así que más allá del tono humorístico de la obra, no pone a reflexionar sobre como la vida se puede hacer muchísimo peor gracias a malas personas, o malas decisiones de vida.

   Todo Zom 100 tiene un aire diferente a cualquier película de Zombies que haya visto antes, la mas cercana en su tono y premisa es la película que se llama ZOMBIELAND, pues aquí todo lo sangriento y otras escenas horribles las retratan con un arcoíris de colores como para resaltar todo lo horrible, es algo irónico pero a la vez super interesante de ver, pues el matiz del terror normalmente es la oscuridad, así que hablamos de películas y series de terror donde todo es de noche y con tonos oscuros, mucha sangre y tonos rojos, mientras que aquí todo pasa a la luz del día, y en mitad de mil colores.

   La verdad este es un anime que me encanto, se me hizo complicado de ver, ya que la productora tuvo muchos retrasos con los capítulos y la verdad entre tantos estrenos de otros animes y series, al final uno deja de recordar un anime que no sabes cuando va a salir y le pierdes interés, pero luego de terminar de ver los capítulos emitidos, ¡espero que saquen mas temporadas y pronto leeré el manga!

   Pues sabemos que en toda serie de genero Isekai genérica nos dicen que el protagonista muere por agotamiento por desvelarce trabajando, pero en esta serie, si que son explícitos en la parte psicológica del abuso vivido por el angulo del protagonista y nos ponemos en sus propios zapatos.

   La temática en cuestión es que el muchacho entra a laborar en su primer empleo y para su desdicha es de esas compañías que exigen de forma inhumana dias sin dormir detrás de un escritorio haciendo su labor como " si fueran esclavos literalmente hablando".

   Asi que corre al departamento de ella para verificar si no la han atacado los zombies, para desgracia el jefe gordo ya se la habia cogido y debe librarse de ambos seres en su version zombie.

   Creo que en este primer episodio se siente 1, la libertad de ya no ser esclavo pues el mundo se fue al carajo y no hay que laborar y 2, que el protagonista tuvo su desquite al matar a su jefe en versión zombie dando un cierre al ciclo de sus emociones.

   Ya con este precedente el chico crea una lista de 100 cosas que debería hacer antes de ser convertido en zombie, y si literal una lista de 100 cosas como deseos antes de morir, así que su plan es relativamente tratar de cumplir e ir tachando cada objetivo de la lista sin importarle lo que pase a su alrededor.

   Puede que este sentido vació de libertad le de un propósito, ya que a él pues le daría igual si lo muerde un zombie el dia de mañana, lo que le interesa es vivir el momento al maximo sin básicamente preocuparse por otro día mas.

   En si la serie inicia muy bien, pues tiene bastante acción de persecución y pues algo de censura que resolvieron con modificar el color sangre por colores fluorescentes como pintura de paintball.

   No es por objetar pero si en un episodio sabes que el traje de buzo ( anti tiburones) es efectivo contra la mordedura de los zombies, lo mas lógico es que vistas de aquí en adelante con ese traje para darte un cierto nivel de armadura, tanto para ti como para tus amigos si encuentras mas trajes similares.

   Pero lamentablemente solo lo usa una vez para jugar a ser un héroe (pues es un logro en su lista para tachar).

   Por eso la serie poco a poco se llena de ese factor (inconsistencia), pues toman la aventura como algo sin riesgo...y pesa a que la chica cumple la función de ser la persona con lógica para mantenersen vivos evitando peligros, las cosas simplemente no cuadran pues olvidan sus papeles muy fácilmente entre salto de episodios.

   Sobra decir que es ese mismo episodio el heroe hace una parodia de Boku no hero peleando contra el tiburón, demostrando asi que la serie no se respeta así misma.

   Este análisis creo te ayuda a apreciar si vale la pena o no ver esta serie, pero si la disfrutas luego de lo expuesto, supongo que para todo gusto hay un publico.
