Have you ever been inside an Orthodox Church? This was my first time visiting an Orthodox Church. The first thing that struck me or stood out, was the pictures of saints, and of Jesus Christ, present inside the church. Much more than any typical Baptist or Pentecostal type church. I found this interesting. Another thing I noticed was the absolute cleanliness of the interior (and exterior). Spotless and beautiful. The word Orthodox means: Adhering to the accepted traditions of the Christian faith (in general terms). What is your faith, if any?

    I've been to this church before. The Eastern Orthodox have very similar outward appearances to the Catholic Eastern Church (e.g. Ukrainian Catholic Church), which is just a part of the one Catholic/Roman Catholic Church. I am a traditional Latin rite Catholic, so we have different imagery in our part of the Church.

    Interesting, I've never been in an Orthodox. You got some interesting pictures out of it. I'm not particularly religious, but I find it fascinating to learn about religious history. Mostly because the world we have today was forged out of religion, and always has been.

    Lovely photographs and post regarding this Orthodox Church....it is quite interesting...appreciated hearing how clean it was.

    To answer your query...What is your faith..if any?

    Protestant...studying under a Pastor who teaches from the original languages in the Bible...of Hebrew, and Greek. Psalm 119...Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light into my path.

    Beautiful. I was in an Orthodox church with some Ukrainian friends. It was during service, it was very full with people & there was a lot of incense! My faith you ask, put simply; I believe in good. I believe in love. ❤️✨
