Hello everyone! Finally, after taking a good and necessary break for Olivia and me, I can write this post to tell you that I attended my first Hive meetup called HiveBeeCon, where I met some really amazing and wonderful people. In fact, I can't wait to have another meeting with everyone, but let's start at the beginning.
Desde que me enteré de la reunión por @gtg, decidí que tenía que ir, pero no quería confirmar hasta el día anterior porque como saben ya tengo 37 semanas de embarazo y a estas alturas es el bebé quien decide cuando quiere nacer y no quería quedar mal, entonces como mi consulta con el doctor esta semana había estado bien y además me estaba sintiendo bien, el día viernes confirmé que iría con mi esposo Pawel ya que estaba muy animada por conocer a otras personas que forman parte de la maravillosa comunidad de Hive.
Since I heard about the meeting from @gtg, I decided I had to go, but I didn't want to confirm until the day before because as you know I am already 37 weeks pregnant and at this point it is the baby who decides when it wants to be born and I didn't want to look bad, so since my consultation with the doctor this week had been fine and I was feeling good, on Friday I confirmed that I would go with my husband Pawel since I was very excited to meet other people who are part of the wonderful Hive community.
Así que ese día despertamos temprano para poder decidir en qué medio de transporte iríamos hasta la ciudad de Cracovia que está ubicada a un poco más de una hora desde Sosnowiec (donde vivimos actualmente), también teníamos que decidir si pasariamos la noche en Cracovia o no y por supuesto elegir un lugar para comer (porque Olivia ya desde la panza demanda comida jajaja).
So that day we woke up early to decide in which means of transportation we would go to the city of Krakow which is located a little more than an hour from Sosnowiec (where we currently live), we also had to decide if we would spend the night in Krakow or not and of course choose a place to eat (because Olivia already from the belly demands food hahaha).
Cuando finalmente decidimos, compramos nuestros boletos de tren, nos arreglamos y tomamos un uber hasta la ciudad de Katowice puesto que desde allí salía nuestro tren a Cracovia. Allí en Katowice comimos un pequeño Kebab y más tarde fuimos a la estación de tren pues no faltaba mucho para salir.
When we finally decided, we bought our train tickets, got ready and took an uber to the city of Katowice since our train to Krakow was leaving from there. There in Katowice we ate a small Kebab and later we went to the train station as it was not long to leave.
Finalmente llegamos a Cracovia, y me contacté con @phortun (¡sí, finalmente nos conocimos!) quien estaba con @deepresearch para llegar juntos a @krolestwo donde sería el gran encuentro. Llegamos y algunas personas estaban preparando chocolate, recuerdo que tenían cacao de Venezuela lo cual fue muy interesante para mí, pero debo confesar que estaba un poco nerviosa aunque no pasaron muchos minutos cuando esos nervios se esfumaron y ya nos sentiamos como en casa, además coincidí con algunas personas que hablan español como @asia-pl, @llunasoul, @mipiano y @ph1102 y esto fue bueno para mí porque me pongo bastante nerviosa al hablar y escuchar en inglés pero creo que me entendieron o al menos un poco, o no? @livinguktaiwan jajajaja.
Finally we arrived in Krakow, and I contacted @phortun (yes, we finally met!) who was with @deepresearch to arrive together to @krolestwo where the big meeting would be. We arrived and some people were preparing chocolate, I remember they had cocoa from Venezuela which was very interesting for me, but I must confess I was a bit nervous although not many minutes passed when those nerves vanished and we already felt at home, also I coincided with some people who speak Spanish like @asia-pl, @llunasoul, @mipiano and @ph1102 and this was good for me because I get quite nervous when speaking and listening in English but I think they understood me or at least a little bit, or not? @livinguktaiwan hahahaha.
También @hallmann en seguida empezó a mostrarnos el lugar que realmente es muy interesante y muy bonito, además de muy cómodo aunque no hice demasiadas fotos pero es que cuando estas disfrutando y pasandola tan bien, te olvidas de hacerlo. Luego fuimos por unas bebidas que obtuvimos allí por unos HBD (una cerveza para Pawel y una Brisscola para mí) y sí fue mi primera vez usando la Hive Keychain para transferir dinero y fue muy interesante jajaja, les cuento que la Brisscola estaba realmente deliciosa, tanto así que no puedo esperar a volver allí para tomar otra.
Also @hallmann immediately started to show us around the place which is really very interesting and very nice, also very comfortable although I didn't take too many pictures but when you are enjoying and having such a good time, you forget to do it. Then we went for some drinks that we got there for some HBD (a beer for Pawel and a Brisscola for me) and yes it was my first time using the Hive Keychain to transfer money and it was very interesting hahaha, I tell you that the Brisscola was really delicious, so much so that I can't wait to go back there to have another one.
Más tarde decidí jugar Novuss con algunos de los chicos, tuvieron que repetir el nombre del juego un par de veces para poder recordarlo,pero bueno lo interesante en esta parte es que no estaba jugando, estaba pasando verguenza jajaja, me dí cuenta lo mala que soy jugando pero me divertí, lo siento solamente por el que formaba parte de mi equipo jajaja. Y no solo yo me divertí, mi esposo Pawel también lo hizo y también hizo grandes amigos allí y eso me hizo muy feliz.
Later I decided to play Novuss with some of the guys, they had to repeat the name of the game a couple of times to remember it, but well the interesting thing in this part is that I wasn't playing, I was embarrassing myself hahaha, I realized how bad I am at playing but I had fun, sorry only for the one who was part of my team hahaha. And not only I had fun, my husband Pawel did too and he also made great friends there and that made me very happy.
Después de un par de horas, de muchas conversaciones interesantes y de divertinos mucho, Pawel y yo decidimos volver a casa, ya que como fuimos en tren, no estabamos preparados con las cosas de nuestro bebé por si decidía nacer esa noche o muy temprano en la mañana. Pero me quedé con las ganas de escuchar el gran concierto de @mipiano y de pasar más tiempo con todos, pero espero que se vuelve a repetir muy pronto.
After a couple of hours, lots of interesting conversations and a lot of fun, Pawel and I decided to go back home, since we went by train, we were not prepared with our baby stuff in case he decided to be born that night or very early in the morning. But I was left wanting to hear @mipiano's great concert and spend more time with everyone, but I hope it happens again very soon.
