Hi, everyone! And since summer is almost over in Poland, Pawel, Olivia, and I are, of course, making the most of the last few warm days. So last Sunday, we decided to go to Borki Pond or Morawa Beach—but this time to spend the whole day there, take a dip in the pond, and just relax. I’ll tell you, we all enjoyed the day—Olivia once again took the opportunity to play at the playground and had a blast.
Llegamos allí a eso de las 12 del medio día pues nos fuímos en el tranvía, y aunque no es muy lejos, tardamos un poco esperando el tran que nos llevaría hasta allí pero llegamos a buena hora. Fuímos preparados con una manta, algunos snacks y algo para tomar por supuesto, y decidímos relajarnos justo detrás del parque infantil para poder observar a Olivia mientras jugaba en este, aunque realmente ella siempre quería que mamá y papá la acompañaran entonces mi esposo y yo nos turnábamos y hacíamos un buen equipo.
We got there around noon since we took the tram, and even though it’s not very far, it took us a little while waiting for the tram to take us there, but we arrived right on time. We came prepared with a blanket, some snacks, and something to drink, of course, and we decided to relax right behind the playground so we could watch Olivia while she played there, although she really always wanted Mom and Dad to be with her, so my husband and I took turns and made a good team.
Después de relajarnos un rato y Olivia jugar en el parque, decidimos ir cerca de la playa para tomar un baño, ya que también fuímos preparadas con nuestros trajes de baño, pero mi esposo se quedó en la manta cuidando nuestras cosas y Olivia y yo nos fuímos a bañar, y les cuento que el agua estaba bastante fría, pero Olivia se la disfrutó mucho, y yo también viendola a ella feliz aunque estaba temblando del frío jajaja. Este día no había tanta gente como la primera vez que fuímos allí, pero esto era bueno para nosotros.
After relaxing for a while and watching Olivia play in the park, we decided to head over to the beach for a swim—since we’d come prepared with our swimsuits—but my husband stayed on the blanket watching our things while Olivia and I went for a swim. I’ll tell you, the water was pretty cold, but Olivia really enjoyed it, and so did I, watching her so happy even though I was shivering from the cold, hahaha. There weren’t as many people that day as the first time we went there, but that was actually good for us.
Después de un buen rato bañandonos en la playa, volvimos detrás del parque donde vímos a mucha gente haciendo bbq, lo cual nos antojó, así que esperamos el proximo año volver allí y preparar también un asado, pues el día estaba perfecto para esto, mientras tanto solo compramos unas papas fritas allí que por cierto estaban deliciosas y más tarde fuímos a comer a uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos, pero eso se los cuento en otro post, por ahora me despido y espero que hayan disfrutado con nosotros a través de estas fotos, pues la verdad fue un día muy genial en familia y es que este lugar es perfecto para disfrutar y relajarte en el verano.
After spending quite a while swimming at the beach, we went back to the area behind the park where we saw a lot of people having a barbecue, which made us want to do the same, so we hope to go back there next year and have a barbecue too, since the day was perfect for it. In the meantime, we just bought some french fries there—which, by the way, were delicious—and later we went to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, but I’ll tell you about that in another post.
