Hi, everyone! It was our second day at the Poland Rock Festival—or maybe our first, since the day was just beginning—and I’ll tell you, we all woke up late because we’d gone to bed late the night before. As you can see, the sun was shining, and it was going to be pretty hot that day. After waking up, I got to work making breakfast for Olivia, and my husband went to the Lidl supermarket to buy something for us. Even though there was a long line of people there, it actually moved quickly, and my husband was back with us soon.
Para cuando Pawel volvió, el patio donde estabamos se llenó de más carpas, pero la verdad no fue un problema para nosotros, pues cada quien está en lo suyo. Luego con energía ya podíamos ir a tomar un baño, sí, al aire libre como todos lo que estaban allí en la foto, y es que eso era parte de la aventura de ir festival jajaja, además con el calor que hacía era lo que provocaba, pero no se preocupen también habían duchas privadas con agua caliente que la verdad no estabamos interesados, porque el agua fría era lo que refrescaba en ese momento.
By the time Pawel came back, the courtyard where we were had filled up with more tents, but honestly, it wasn’t a problem for us—everyone was minding their own business. Then, feeling energized, we were ready to go take a shower—yes, outdoors, just like everyone else in the photo—because that was part of the adventure of going to a festival, hahaha. Plus, with the heat, that’s exactly what we needed. But don’t worry—there were also private showers with hot water, though to be honest, we weren’t interested in those, because the cold water was what really cooled us off at that moment.
Ahora frescos y con energía mi esposo decidió ir al supermercado Biedronka, que la verdad fue buena y mala idea, buena porque compramos las cosas que nos hacían falta y que no conseguímos en Lidl pero mala porque tardó mucho tiempo y el calor era insoportable. Mientras tanto yo me quedé con Olivia jugando y cuando mi esposo volvió comimos el almuerzo, después estabamos listos para ir a ver una banda que nos gusta a los 3 (sí, hasta a Olivia le gusta el rock jajaja), la banda era Lej mi Pół y la verdad es que estuvo genial, además compramos una cerveza para refrescarnos porque el calor seguía y era lo más frío para beber allí jajaja.
Now that we were refreshed and full of energy, my husband decided to go to the Biedronka supermarket, which was actually both a good and a bad idea—good because we bought the things we needed and couldn’t find at Lidl, but bad because it took a long time and the heat was unbearable. Meanwhile, I stayed home with Olivia to play, and when my husband got back, we had lunch. After that, we were ready to go see a band that all three of us like (yes, even Olivia likes rock, hahaha). The band was Lej mi Pół, and honestly, they were great. We also bought a beer to cool off because it was still hot, and it was the coldest thing to drink there, hahaha.
Olivia se durmió, y el sol se estaba escondiendo y cuando Lej Mi Pół terminó de cantar, volvimos al grande escenario para ahora esuchar a otra banda que también nos gusta a los 3, esa era Godsmack, su presentación estuvo increíble, aunque no pudímos verla completa porque Olivia estaba cansada y la llevamos a dormir, aún así la disfrutamos mucho y les cuento que algo que me gustaba de allí es que había seguridad por todos lados, en fin, muchas cosas me gustaron allí pero más adelante les seguiré contando, por ahora me despido, y espero que les guste nuestras aventuras en este genial festival que ahora le recomiendo si les gusta el rock como a nosotros.
Olivia fell asleep, and the sun was setting. When Lej Mi Pół finished singing, we went back to the main stage to listen to another band that all three of us like—Godsmack. Their performance was incredible, although we couldn’t watch the whole thing because Olivia was tired and we took her to bed, even so, we enjoyed it a lot, and I’ll tell you that one thing I liked about the place was that there were security guards everywhere. Anyway, there were lots of things I liked there, but I’ll keep telling you about them later.
