Visitamos el estanque Borki [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! les cuento que el fin de semana pasado fue caluroso por aquí, así que además de ir a la Fábrica a relajarnos un rato, el siguiente día Pawel, Olivia y yo también decidimos ir al estanque Borki, un lugar que no habíamos visitado antes Olivia y yo y que además está ubicado entre la ciudad de Katowice y Sosnowiec y que limita con el estanque de Stawiki y Morawa.

Llegamos allí tarde por lo que solo fuímos a pasear, pero estando allá nos dimos cuenta que este lugar es perfecto para ir a pasar el día en el verano con la familia o con amigos, bañandose en el estanque, cocinando una parrilla, andando bicicleta como lo hizo Olivia, caminando, o para ir a relajarse acostado en una hamaca, por lo que esperamos volver otro día pronto antes de que termine el verano para pasar el día allí y es que estuvimos una hora caminando por allí que pudímos pensar todo lo que queremos hacer cuando volvamos.

Al principio del paseo en el estanque había poca gente, es decir era algo más tranquilo o grupos más relajados, más tarde si vimos más gente incluyendo colombianos, y nos sorprendió que eran muchos de ellos, incluso vimos algunos padres con niños en el parque porque sí, allí también hay un pequeño parque donde Olivia se divirtió mucho, también hay cambiadores, baños, venta de comida, algunas mesas y bancas y es que este lugar lo tiene todo para ir a pasar el día relajado allí.

Como les dije antes solo estuvimos una hora allí pero la pasamos muy bien y quedamos con ganas de volver, es un lugar muy bonito, cuidado, y perfecto para pasar este verano, así que se los recomiendo mucho, pues estoy segura que les va a encantar tanto como a nosotros, especialmente si tienen niños porque ellos se divierten mucho allí.

Hi, everyone! I wanted to tell you that last weekend was really hot around here, so in addition to going to La Fábrica to relax for a while, the next day Pawel, Olivia, and I also decided to go to Borki Pond—a place Olivia and I had never visited before, located between the cities of Katowice and Sosnowiec and bordering Stawiki and Morawa ponds.

We got there late, so we just went for a walk, but while we were there we realized that this place is perfect for spending a summer day with family or friends—swimming in the pond, having a barbecue, riding a bike like Olivia did, going for a walk, or just relaxing in a hammock— so we hope to return another day soon before summer ends to spend the day there—after all, we spent an hour walking around and were able to think of everything we want to do when we come back.

At the start of our walk by the pond, there weren’t many people—it was a bit quieter, with more laid-back groups. Later on, we did see more people, including Colombians, and we were surprised by how many of them there were; we even saw some parents with kids in the park just hanging out, there’s also a small park there where Olivia had a lot of fun. There are also changing tables, restrooms, food stands, some tables, and benches—this place really has everything you need to spend a relaxing day there.

As I told you before, we were only there for an hour, but we had a great time and can’t wait to go back. It’s a very beautiful, well-maintained place—perfect for spending this summer—so I highly recommend it. I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as we did, especially if you have kids, because they have a lot of fun there.
