**Happy weekend to fellow travelers around the world! It is a pleasure to greet you and share my visit to the Orinoco Lookout in the Cedeño Municipality of Bolívar State. Located right across from the town hall, it offers spectacular views of the river and its surroundings. Unlike last year—and contrary to what usually happens during the rainy season, when the river swells and its flow increases—the river rose only slightly this year, and the water stayed below the sidewalk that marks the boundary between the promenade and the river. During the dry season, the area currently covered by water transforms into a beautiful landscape featuring rocky outcrops, sandy stretches, the remains of a sunken ship, and incredible sunset views.
The rains weren't heavy enough this year to significantly raise the water level. The river views are lovely, and this area is a popular spot for families to go for walks, stroll around, and admire the beautiful scenery and sunsets—which happen to be among my favorites. Whenever I have the chance to visit this beautiful town, I take the opportunity to go to the lookout point in the late afternoon and watch the sunset. The first image shows the town hall—a white and yellow building—along with the steps leading to the main entrance and the protective wall; when the river rises, the water often reaches about halfway up this wall, which encircles the entire building. There are also trees along the sides and at the back, and the second-floor roof is tiled. A shot taken from the river looking toward the town hall reveals the avenue, concrete benches, and some of the vegetation. The next photograph offers a view of the road taken from the town hall wall, showing part of the river, the greenery, and the avenue leading to the Chalana Port—also known as Troncal 12. In front of the town hall, there are planters featuring striking purple plants; these have become very popular in recent years for landscaping and beautifying public spaces due to their vibrant color, and I have seen them in various plazas, parks, and now at the Cedeño municipality town hall. Several houses and a legendary tree located just a few meters from the town hall are also visible.

**Feliz fin de semana amigo viajeros en todo el mundo, es un placer saludarlos y compartir mi visita al mirador Orinoco en municipio Cedeño estado Bolívar, este se ubica al frente de la sede de la alcaldía y ofrece espectaculares vistas del río y su entorno, a diferencia del año pasado y como sucede regularmente en la temporada de lluvia, donde el río crece y aumenta su caudal, este año el río tuvo un ligero crecimiento y el agua se mantuvo por debajo de la acera, que marca el límite del paseo con el río, en la temporada seca lo que actualmente se observa cubierto de agua, es un hermoso paisaje formado por rocas arenales, los restos de un barco hundido e increíbles vistas al atardecer.
Este año las lluvias no fueron tan fuertes para que el nivel de agua aumentara, las vistas del río son bonitas y este sector constituye un espacio donde la familia suele hacer caminatas, paseos y observar los hermosos paisajes y atardeceres que son uno de mis favoritos; cuando tengo la oportunidad de visitar esta hermosa población aprovecho para ir en la tarde al mirador y contemplar el ocaso del sol, en la primera imagen se observa la sede de la alcaldía, un edificio de color blanco con amarillo, las escaleras que conducen hacia la puerta principal y el muro de protección, durante la crecida del río el agua suele llegar aproximadamente a la mitad del muro, el cual rodea todo el edificio, tiene también árboles en los laterales y en la parte posterior, el techo del segundo piso está cubierto con tejas, en una toma desde el río hacia la alcaldía, se observa la avenida, los bancos de concreto, parte de la vegetación y en la siguiente fotografía tenemos una vista de la carretera, tomada desde el muro de la alcaldía aquí se aprecia parte del río, la vegetación y la avenida que conduce al Puerto de Chalana, también conocido como la troncal 12, al frente de la alcaldía se encuentran las jardineras, que resaltan por las plantas de color morado, las cuales en los últimos años se están utilizando mucho para el embellecimiento de los espacios públicos y paisajismo por su llamativo color, las he visto en varias plazas, parques y ahora en la sede de la alcaldía del municipio Cedeño, se observan también varias casas y un legendario árbol ubicado a pocos metros de la alcaldía.
After walking along the wall by the town hall and taking in the river and the incredible view from above, we headed down to the riverbank. I loved the scenery, which combines a small rocky path, the river, and trees jutting out into the water; across the way, you can see more trees and a few houses, including one painted green.
Across from the river, at the base of one of the largest trees, there is a motorcycle taxi stand—ideal for anyone wanting a quick ride from this spot to Puerto Chalana, Cedeño, or Plaza de la Coroba; the drivers are there early in the morning, ready to offer their services. We then continued along the sidewalk, admiring the beautiful landscape—a blend of various shades of blue, clouds adorning the sky, and the river covering much of the terrain. Usually, by this time of year, the river has flooded a large part of the avenue, but things were a bit different this year. This is a benefit for many families who, during flood season, are normally forced to relocate until the waters recede; it is rare for the river to remain below flood levels at this time of year. I really enjoyed walking along the avenue and taking in the scenery and the incredible views of the majestic Orinoco River right in front of the Cedeño municipal town hall.
Luego de recorrer el muro de la alcaldía, observar el río y la increíble vista desde arriba, bajamos hasta la ribera del río, me encantó este paisaje que combina un pequeño sendero de rocas, el río y algunos árboles que sobresalen en el agua, se observan también los árboles al otro lado y algunas casas entre ellas una de color verde.
Al frente del río en uno de los árboles más grandes, funciona una parada de mototaxi, ideal para quienes quieren hacer un recorrido más rápido desde este punto hasta el Puerto Chalana, Cedeño o la Plaza de la Coroba, ya en horas de la mañana estás personas están ubicadas aquí ofreciendo su servicio de transporte; luego avanzamos por la acera observando el hermoso paisaje, que mezcla varios tonos de azul, las nubes adornando el cielo y el río cubriendo gran parte del terreno, generalmente para este mes, el río ha cubierto gran parte de la avenida, este año cambió un poco, lo cual beneficia a muchas familias que durante la temporada de inundación tienen que mudarse a otros espacios para esperar que el agua baje, es una de las pocas veces que en esta época el río ha mantenido un nivel por debajo de la inundaciones en la temporada de lluvia, me gustó recorrer la avenida, observar el paisaje y las increíbles vista del majestuoso Orinoco frente a la alcaldía del municipio Cedeño.
