Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today, I’m joining you to share a glimpse into a day in my life. I’d like to show you one of my recent visits to my uncle's house; I went to say hello and celebrate his birthday, as he turned another year older on September 29th. My mom was quite sick with a virus at the time, so only my dad and I made the trip. Here is a little bit about how it went.
My uncle underwent pacemaker surgery on September 18th. The whole family was overjoyed, yet we were also anxious, knowing that any surgery—regardless of the type—always carries some risk. Fortunately, my uncle is a very strong person who doesn't let pessimism or worst-case scenarios get the better of him; on the contrary, he has the fortitude to accept things as they are and always keep a positive attitude. We all felt a sense of relief when he finally left the operating room and returned home. He gradually tended to his recovery, and when his birthday arrived, we were finally able to visit him to celebrate the occasion.
He is diabetic, so he can't eat sweets and the like—though he always managed to have a cake or something similar. I wanted to make a treat for him, but between his condition and a power outage that prevented me from cooking the way I wanted, it didn't happen. And I think that was for the best, as his wounds need to heal properly. My uncle, aunt, cousin and her husband, and my youngest little cousin were all there. We shared a lovely time together as a family, creating a memory to cherish—and most importantly, seeing that he is continuing to recover well. I knew that after this, we wouldn't see each other for a while because I had to return to work in Puerto Ordaz, but hey, Christmas is just around the corner. Take care of your family members. Go visit them. That’s all for now—thank you so much for stopping by.
Vayan a verlos.
