Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today I’m joining you here to share another day in my life with you. This time, it’s about spending time with my friends, and the person I’m featuring today is my friend Estefanía—someone very special whom I love dearly. I hadn’t seen her in many years either, and it’s incredible that after so long, we still feel that the affection and connection are still there—as if not a single day had passed since the last time we saw each other. It’s amazing. This has definitely been a wonderful month, full of joy.
Estefanía and I have known each other since we were very young (when we were teenagers, around 12 or 13 years old), and we were in the same graduating class at our high school. That group was truly incredible because we were so close-knit; there was a very sisterly atmosphere, we loved each other dearly, and we went through so many things together (both the good and the bad)—so much so that, as we both say, it was like having a family. We really were a family. We saw each other every day, and every day we did something together—we ate together, laughed together, cried together, argued together, walked together, studied together, celebrated together, and so much more. I always remember this with great love, and that day when I saw her again and she shared her feelings with me, I realized I wasn’t the only one who remembered it that way.
It’s so crazy that when we met, we started chatting as if nothing had happened, as if it were just yesterday that we’d seen each other—and even more than that, we remembered quirks and things that can only be explained when you know someone very well. The kind of things where you don’t have to say anything because the other person already understands, and everything is crystal clear. It was as if we could read each other’s minds. Another really nice thing was getting to see the girls—his daughters—again. The last time I saw them, they were very young, so none of them remembered me. I felt a little sad because I hadn’t been able to spend time with them all that time, and well, time really does fly, and it’s hard. However, the first step has been taken, and I hope to continue spending time with them. It’s a goal of mine: not to let time pass without first enjoying time with my family and friends. Without further ado, thank you so much for stopping by.
