Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today, I’m joining you to share another day in my life. Following up on my recent posts about trying to see all my friends during my trip to Valencia, I want to tell you about a lovely get-together with my dear friend Orlando Cordero. I hadn't seen him in about four or five years—since back when I lived in Naguanagua. That’s a long time. Orlando and I have been friends for eleven years.

I was feeling really sick that day. It had been a truly hellish week, with three health issues piling up at once: a bad flu, a tooth problem, and my dear mom being ill. Fortunately, things were slowly starting to heal, but I still needed some rest. So, Orlando—who didn't quite remember the way to my house anymore—came over for this wonderful reunion. Orlando is a musician, a writer, and a graphic designer, though he works in other fields as well. He is deeply dedicated to his crafts and is always working on something. In fact, we talked about collaborating on a project because he has a really cool musical composition that he wants to add vocals to. We had discussed this before, but I never felt confident enough to do it—I didn't think I was good enough—but I think I’ve improved now and can pull it off.

The best part was that Orlando arrived with two gifts: two of his books, *María de Gabriel* and *Raza Oculta I*. By the way, you can find all his writings on Amazon. You should check them out; he’s a fantastic writer. He also showed me the original versions of the cover art he had envisioned for *Raza Oculta*. He created the design himself, back before he found a publisher. The woman on the cover has been a huge source of inspiration for him—his muse and a great friend. It’s beautiful to see how she influenced his decision to pursue the path of a writer. For my part, I gave him a painting of a "Lady of the Night" flower; it felt like something that resonated with him. We spent the day catching up and sharing a delicious meal. The great thing about old friends is that there’s no awkwardness—haha—so, even though I was sick, we really enjoyed the day. Thanks for everything, my friend. And thank you all for stopping by.

  • Wow, he has my respect. Let's see, I should probably save some of his books and perhaps order it some time soon to give it a read. I'm sure it would also greatly help me improve my Spanish ^^
