Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today, I’m joining you to share another day in my life. Continuing my visits to friends, I couldn't leave out a special person I hadn't seen in about a decade. I’m actually embarrassed to admit just how long it’s been since we last saw each other. I’m talking about my friend Yulisbel, whom I’ve mentioned before in TBT posts or while sharing general anecdotes. Yuli and I were very close from childhood through our teenage years, but at a certain point, we drifted apart and lost touch. It wasn't intentional—it just happened—and I think that after a while, there was a sense of awkwardness or confusion about how to recapture that old bond. But finally, a few weeks ago, we saw each other again.
It was so heartwarming to see my friend again. She was standing there waiting for me—making sure i wouldn't get lost and could easily find the house—though I actually remembered the house's façade perfectly. When I saw her, I felt such joy and love. I told her she looked exactly the same, though she didn't believe me; while it's true we’ve all changed, I still see her just as she was. In any case, we’re still quite young. We sat down to talk about so many things and catch up. We used to communicate via text and voice notes, but of course, that’s not the same as being there in person. It was just like when I reunited with Estefanía—whom I hadn't seen in years—where it felt as if no time had passed at all. It’s amazing, because the connection, the affection, and even the way we speak—none of that was ever lost.
I also saw her dad again; he arrived with his two beloved grandchildren—since Yuli is a mom now—which reminded me once more that time truly marches on. She has poured so much effort into raising them, and they are truly incredible children—very kind, well-mannered, and sweet. I regretted missing out on those important moments. We talked about that, too. At the same time, I shared my own story with her, and in doing so, we came to understand each other's decisions. Eventually, it was time for me to head home, so I said my goodbyes to everyone. Don't let time slip away. Cherish your friends; I, for one, don't intend to waste any more time without being with mine as much as I can. That’s all for now—thank you so much for stopping by.
