I was pretty much spot on with the smaller pre-game 1H under bet yesterday which still ended up having 1 goal very late in the half. Late I went for Anderlecht to score another one and the late over which failed to hit so a small loss on the day with 8 more matches to go over the weekend. Here are the Saturday Previews...

Beveren vs Sint-Truiden

Beveren is a team who are unbeaten at home now for 491 days (nearly all matches in 2nd division but still) and they managed to take a 3-0 win against OHL at home last week which was an exagerrated score. They also somehow managed to win the home match before against Anderlecht in kind of a similar way. So if anything, they are due for a loss at home. They also tends to see money on them so I kind of hoped they would be the slight favorite today with more money coming onto them to back Stvv. However, the market is feels on point and Stvv has been made the favorite today. I'm still kind of expecting some late momey on Beveren but it won't be enough for me to take the jump backing the away team. Wint-Truiden has actually been quite ok and they have been the most overish team. They created 1.98-2.15-3.38-2.40 xg so far in their matches against non-top-teams. In recent matches, they also got their defense a bit ebtter at 0.44 & 0.77 xg against. Beveren has nit had a match yet where they stayed under 1xg against and only once were above 1xg created. My lean is on Stvv but not at this line and I kind of have to respect the streak of Beveren. No Pre-Game Bets

Westerlo vs Standard

Westerlo had a really difficult start of the season with too many new players but the last 2 weeks they have improved both on the defensive and offensive end. The match however was against Mechelen who were really poor so I'm not yet willing to trust Westerlo at this point. The one thing they systematically provide is matches with goals and I do once again see them play with forward intentions and take risk when needed at the end. Standard could and should have taken more in the first 2 matches where they took a draw twice but ended up winning their 3 last matches. This is partially thanks to having a super easy schedule, but also because they showed much better things compared to last season. They used to have a hard time to create chances but now they have been at 3.42-1.36-1.15-1.64-2.59xg created & in anway matches they had 2.75 & 1.93xg against. I could make a case here for both teams and the +0 line feels like it makes sense along with the over 3 line. My take on this one is to wait and see the start of the match and maybe get in some one the Over if the line drops to 2.75 or lower. for now No Pre-Game bets

OH Leuven vs Cercle Brugge

OHL is currently in a 'bad luck' streak where each match something ends to go wrong which makes them lose the match which leaves them with 0 points on 15. They should have enough quality in the team to crawl out of this hole eventually. Cercle is in somewhat of a similar situation in that they only took 2 points so far and they lost their last 3 matches and their main problem remains that they don't create enough. Often, matches between teams in the bottom of the standings around this time in the season end up in a scenario where for both the fear to lose is bigger than the will to win and I would not be surprised if that was the case today. I took 0.289 units on 1st Half Under 1.25 @ 1.900 along with 0.111 units at 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.450. Both teams are quite high on total corners especially cercle on creating corners. If OHL would take the lead, I will most likely opt in on the Cercle Team Total Corners Over bet or the handicap since OHL mainly gets corners against.

Union SG vs Lommel

Union started the season quite shaky but followed that up by excellent performances against Anderlecht and Sint-Truiden showing that they are just as good as previous years. Against Charleroi however, it looked a lot more mediocre again taking a narrow win which could have easily been a draw. Lommel as one of the new teams took a good start with 2 wins, a draw and 2 narrow 1-goal losses against good teams. The line fully seems set on an Union today who once again is as good as their 2 best matches and Lommel to not have a good day today. Union isn't as secure in the defense anymore as they used to be and lommel had 1.98 & 1.25xg created in their away matches. I expect Union with the cautios initiative and Lommel to keep things closed in the defense first hoping to get something on a counter. I took 0.18 units on Lommel +2 @ 1.917 as there are enough situations possible where Union doesn't reach their best form or takes it slow after a lead to conserve energy or where Lommel manages to score on a counter. The corners handicap also just feels really high and if Union starts with the initiative creating a bunch of corners, I might go with the corners handicap on lommel in-game.
