Hello, dear friends at Hive and Motherhood. I’m back after a few weeks away due to some health issues, among other things, but I’m really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things in every area of my life. As you know, motherhood never takes a break, and in the midst of it all, I’ve experienced many unforgettable moments with my little boy that I haven’t had the chance to share with you yet—but I’ll be catching up on that soon, because I want to preserve those wonderful memories here in my beautiful hive as well.
Today the school year began in Venezuela, and as I write these lines, my son is in his new classroom officially starting second grade.
Today’s return to school got off to the best possible start; yesterday we got everything ready, and today we woke up early to arrive on time. Attendance was low today, but little by little the children will be returning to the classrooms. Angel was excited; he’ll be with the same classmates. Let’s hope that this year he’ll be able to fit in better with them and make more friends. The teacher will be the same one from first grade, which I think is a good thing because she already knows the children’s strengths and what to focus on this year based on what she taught them in first grade.
I hope this new school year is filled with many learning opportunities for each of the children, that it is a productive and blessed year so that all children can enjoy the classroom and make the most of their time there, enabling them to become excellent people with strong values in the future.
We’ll see what adventures this new educational phase brings us; for now, it’s time to adapt once again to the routine of schedules and homework, with plenty of discipline and a desire to give our best to that perfect trio in children’s educational development: school, parents, and students.
Happy back-to-school to everyone, and many blessings.
Until next time, a million blessings to your families.
