Last time we saved a rebel woman named Sara and concinced her to lead us to rebel leader Crake. But we were captured by rebels and their leader Crake did not believe anything we said to him. Still Coen proved to be unique among vampires by surviving day light. This peaked Crake's intrest enough to consider working together with us. If we will become worthy in the future. Then we went and found a blind old man named Volk who said that he was our father's friend from mercenary days. Later Coen's dad Pieter retired and Volk lost his sight so he came looking for Pieter. Pieter took care of Volk(found him a place to stay and regulary brought him food and drinks). Volk offered to tell us more stories about the past in exchange of doing some chores for him. But the problem is that doing those mondaine task takes time. And time is more precious than money in this game. So I am starting to wonder if we should cut the chatter about the past and focus on the present. After that we freed some of vampire general's Ambrus prisoners. One of them claimed to be a master fencer and said he could teach us something.

This time we went to train with the old fart who we freed last time. Luckily for that training did not consume any time. We just bought some books from him. Then we went to see Volk again. He was in trouble. Again. And needed our help again...This old man really is using the fact that ke knew Coen's dad for hs benefits. This time he hurt his back and needed us to make some medicine for him. At the cost of time. Once again. We helped him. Very regretfully. Possibly for the last time. This time we did not even ask for more stories. Because our curiosity may cost us in a long run. Still Volk gave Coen some dating advice for free. According to him the best way to get girls is to be a crybaby. Yeah thanks but no thanks. Also since Volk is always in trouble I would not be too surprised if he will just die in the future, we will not get all the stories from the past from him and all the time we spent helping will be wasted. But I hope that I am wrong and such ,,twist'' will not happen...

After that we went to meet with our favorite healer Anca. We were about to travel together to her former convent. To search for books that could help us defeat Brencis and other vampires. Anca said that we should be prepared for anything during this mission.

Then we went to the convent it turned out that Anca was right. The place was filled with crazy zombies undead nuns who kept attacking us on sight and returned back to ,,life'' every time we killed one of them. Coen and Anca were able to hide in one of the houses. There Anca told us more about her past. She had a friend called Leonica.Anca later became fond of magic and arcane arts. She told about this to Leonica in hopes that she will share her fascination. But Leonica saw things quite differently. She snitched Anca to prioress and Anca got kicked out of convent. So now Anca returned there for two reasons. First she wanted to help Coen but also she felt that she had to know what happened to her former refuge. Because she assumed that if something bad had happened to it was her fault. Many doors in the convent were locked. So for a while we left Anca in a safe building and went looking for keys. Thanks to our vampiric powers we were able to walk on walls so for Coen even this seemingly disastrous place was quite tame.

While looking for the keys we found some saint's relic. We also found a few of Brencis soldiers who were hiding in one house from the zombie nuns. The soldiers were sent here to look for the relic we found earlier. But we refused to give it to them. So the soldiers decided to go outside after all. In order to attack Coen. That was big mistake because we are more dangerous than the undead nuns. And then we slew all the soldiers and took the keys. Now we were able to go get back to Anca and lead her to the building that was previously locked. We found a library. As well as the secret section of the library. But books that would help our cause was no longer there. So Coen and Anca went to the convent catacombs in search for a book thief.

Then we found the thief it turned out to be Anca's former friend Leonica. Or a shell of her that was still remaining. At first she denounced magic and betrayed Anca. But after Anca was kicked out the convent got hit with a plague. So then Leonica started using magic herself in order to keep the nuns alive. But instead things went to shit became even worse- this magic ritual started the whole zombie nuns apocalypse in the convent. We defeated Leonica. Then Anca found out that Leonica was trying to undo the ritual by cutting herself for blood magic. Anca wanted to complete the ritual herself but we did not let her. Instead we trew the ritual notes into fire. After that Anca and Coen took as many books as they could carry and returned to abandoned inn close to the convent.

Finally we found something useful in one of the books we brought from the convent. At first the book seemed empty but after we placed a candle close to the paper hidden message was revealed. It turns out that we are not the first to fight with vampires. And a pagan who did so before us had a really powerful magical sword. We also learned that a body of this vampires hunter Foe is buried in the location called Svartrou. Perhaps Dragon Vampire Slayer sword is buried there as well? Anca believed that a monk Albertus could know exact location of this grave. The problem is that this Albertus person apparently went really mad long ago. Still the news about a magical sword seems like our best chance to defeat Brencis and his vampires. So Coen celebrated this promising new lead by flirting with Anca more. We don't have unlimited time to save our family but if we play our cards right maybe we will succeed to save family, deathrone Brencis and perhaps even try having a romance as well? For now that sounds like a plan.
