Last time we gave Volk some medicine and in return he gave us some (shity) dating advice. After that we met with healer Anca and went to her former convent together. It was a cursed place full of zombies nuns who could not stay dead. So Coen and Anca hid in one house. Then Anca told us the story of her past. After she started practicing witchraft and blood magic her best friend Leonica betrayed Anca and she was kicked out of convent. So now Anca wanted to know if what is happening in the convent is her fault. We left Anca in a safe house and used our vampyric powers to travel around the convent without being noticed by undead nuns. We had to find some keys from locked buildings so we could open the path to library. While looking for the keys we found some saint's relic. And saw Brencis men who were hiding from zombie nuns. Their task was to find the saint's relic. We told them that we will not give it to them so they got so angry that their forgot the fear of nuns and came out from their hideout. We defeated them all and returned to Anca. Now we were able to get to a library. But inside the secret section of the library we found out that most valuable books had been stolen. So we went to a catacombs and in their end we found out that books were taken by no other than Anca's former best friend Leonica. She used blood magic to stop nuns from dying from plague. This turned nuns to undying zombies. After that Leonica tried to end the ritual and stop this curse. After we defeated Leonica, Anca wanted to finish that ritual in Leonica's place. But we did not let her. Instead we burned the ritual's notes. Then Coen and Anca took some books with them and retreated to the abandoned inn close to the convent. There we flirted with Anca and found that one book contained clues where we can find a super powerful magical sword. If we could find it this sword would likely help us slay some vampires. Perhaps even Brencis himself.
This time we visited the old yapper Volk again listened to more stories about our father Pieter. It turns out that in their past both Volk and Pieter were quite ruthless- Volk told us a story about how some rich person told them to get out of his way. So they jumped and beat him up. After that Pieter took rich guy's horse and used it to trample the rich guy to death. After that Pieter gave the horse new name- Conscience.
After that Coen went to a big city for the first time and soon enough we found weird signs of fights on top of some houses roofs. We followed those traces into one building. There we saw another vampiress who was torturing a horned creature. She attacked Coen almost on sight. We beat her ass and this calmed her enough for her to be willing to talk. Her name is Lacra and she also wants to kill Brencis? It is interesting that Coen is not the only vampire who wants to see Brencis dead. So this Lacra could prove to be a great ally...Assuming that we can trust her. And manage her wild temperament. Lacra told us that Brencis has a weak spot- his sire (not sure if this means father or just some ancestor) vampire Isbrand. The problem is that neither Coen nor Lacra had any idea where to find him. But the leader of that captured horned creature's clan should have this information. So Lacra was torturing Nish(the horned creature) because she wanted to him to tell where we can find his village. Coen tried to get this information as well. We tried to play a ..good cop'' and ask Nish nicely and politetly. This did not work so Lacra took over the investigation and naturally assumed the ,,bad cop'' role.
Sadly Lacra was a little too good at being a bad cop- she killed Nish by throwing him through a wall into the street. It seemed that neither of us will get the answers we want. But Coen's blood magic was a solution to this problem.
After that started messing with another Brencis general's(Bakir's) operations. We found one of his alcohol distilleries and destroyed it. After that we saw another captive who was held in some torture device(I don't remember how that blasted thing is called...). We killed the guards and Coen freed the captive. Then the captive told us a story how he lost everything he had. But he was still able to promise Coen a reward-some time ago he placed an order at some merchant and did not collect it yet. So we can collect that order in his place and keep it for ourselves.
Then we questioned Nish body and he revealed where we can find his village. This really impressed Lacra. And we agreed to later travel to that village together. But now we are facing a serious dilemma- could we romance both Anca and Lacra? That would be really awesome but I am not sure if we have enough time for one romance let alone two...Up to this part I was pretty much decided that we will romance Anca. But Lacra seems like a really interesting choice as well. Too many options can also cause troubles it seems. But maybe it will work out and we will get both of them(preferably at the same time...) and to overthrow Brencis and save our family...if were will be enough time.😛
