The rules to make this different from my original let's play of Wither 3: 1. I will try to roleplay as Geralt and make choices I believe he would make. 2 I will try using photo mode more.
Last time I defeated the wraith that was hunting near the well. I also found a bracelet that was tying her to the living world. Then I burned the bracelet and the wraith's remains. After that I got a wraith trophy and collected my reward. After that I helped a person find his missing brother. It turns out that this brother was saved by a nilfgaardian deserter. The brothers took the deserter in. After that I found a temerian soldier who attacked a cart that was transporting a box with medicine. We let the soldier go and gave him the medicine. Then I met with my mentor Vesemir again. And we slew the griffin near the mill.
This time I went to see nilfgaardian garrison commander and told him that the griffin is dead. He in return told us that Yen is in Vizima(capital of Temeria)
After that I traveled to the inn again. Vesemir told me that some local bandits may star trouble soon. So we intended to leave as soon as possible. But we were already too late. A peasant woman attacked the innkeeper and beat her head to the table. We tried to stop her but then bandits got involved and attacked me and Vesemir. Needless to say they were no match against two witchers- we slew them all within a minute. After that innkeeper turned out to be really ungrateful. She told us to leave and never return. We walked out of the inn and saw a group of nilfgaardian soldiers. They were together with...Yen. We were finally reunited. Yen was also glad to see me. Also she told us that someone very important wants to meet me. Nilfgaardian emperor Emhyr var emreis(who is also biological father of my and Yen's adopted daughter Ciri). I say goodbye to Vesemir and started riding with Yen to Vizima. After a while we noticed that we are being chased by riders of the Wild hunt. They slaughtered nilfgaardians who were escorting us. After that Yen blew a bridge and prevented Wild Hunt from following us.
Then we arrived to Vizima. There we were got shaved. After that some general appeared and started questioning about my past adventures. Then I went to see emperor Emhyr. He told me that Ciri has returned and Wild Hunt is after her. So the emperor wanted me to find Ciri and bring her to him. It seems that emperor has lost his mind if he really thinks that I will do that. In fact I will do everything in my power to make sure that Emhyr will never get close to Ciri.
After that I wnt to see Yen. She told us that Ciri has been seen in Velen (also known as No man's land) and Novigrad. In Valen I will get information about Ciri from some spy. And in Novigrad I will get help from our friend Triss. Yen also said that she will travel to Skellige islands and investigate another lead on Ciri. So we will meet again there once I will learn anything.Yen also suggested that I should speak with ambassador if I want to learn what is happening in the world. So I did just that. To summarise he said that things things are really shitty in both Velen and Novigrad. Just for a different reasons. Velen is a land ravaged by war. So nilfgaardians for a while allowed someone called Bloody Baron(a former temerian soldier) rule in Velen. And in Novigrad fanatics of eternal fire are using nonhumans and mages as scapegoats and blaming them for everything bad.
After talking with the ambassador I I beat some nilfgaardian noble at Gwent. Then I traveled to Velen and found the hanged man's tree. I guess that is just shows how ,,pleasant'' and ,,inviting'' this land will be. I hope that I will find Ciri soon and then travel to some nicer place because I have already seen enough wastelands destroyed by war...
