Rain, Driving, Session, Tree Felling and Schlepping, Sore, Spider, Trailer, LPs - Tuesday

Woke to it still raining yesterday morning. I went and unhooked the trailer to make the trips to drop off easier.

Took @stryeyz to work then headed back home.

Emptied the gauge of the prior 24 hours rain. Then took the boys to school.

Hooked the trailer up, loaded tools, then went to my session. Had to park across the road in the big parking lot. Once done headed down Mill and under the 395 to go to my client's house by the golf course.

Where I hiked down the hill below his house with my chainsaw and cut down a bunch of pine trees.

I then had to carry/drag/schlep each section of tree up the hill and over to the trailer. It was one hell of a work out and very humid after the rains and the golf course proximity. I was sweating heavily.

I got the trailer loaded with as much as I wanted to temp towing and made a run to the house to drop it off.

I just pulled it all off quickly then headed back for the remaining sections.

Which I got loaded fast enough and then picked up my tools and headed for home. I dumped the load atop the prior pile. I will run it all through the chipper sometime.

My window spider rebuilt her web and was having a mid afternoon treat.

I picked up J from practice then headed in to pickup @stryeyz from work. After dinner I got the trailer hooked up for this morning.

J got his new record player and we laughed our asses off at the dd 1/3 and 45 rpms with the standard lp. Will have to check out thrift stores for some various old lps.

Been to town for grain, a huge load, and unloaded it in the pen already. Boys to school soon, it's foggy out, might go for a ride if my body feels up to after the 3k lbs of grain I loaded and unloaded and tree hauling, and in general trying to rest my sore body.

Sounds like quite a workout my friend, and a lot of rain almost a half inch, and you are on the dry side of the mountains!!😅
