Just a little background story: Pantera was formed in the same year as Metallica, back in 1981. Their generation was the luckiest to witness so many Ah-mazing metal bands like Motley Crue, Slayer, Anthrax, and so on. Imagine being part of that generation and seeing them all play live? Damn.
I like jamming to Metallica when I'm locking in with some tasks. Their songs symbolize relentless thrash endurance...which help me focus for extended period of time. Ah critical thinking: last week i read some very interesting discussions how AI is slowly turning us into morons, giving us short attention spans' coz, well....we ask and we talk to AI more than people, perhaps??
Hetfield's guitar skill is an absolute outlier, however, i feel like his downpicking is too soft (subjective) for my rough summer schedule, so I'll go for Dime for my #ThreeTuneTuesday this week. Thanks to @ablaze. Cheers to this community! I noticed this is one of the most consistent communities.I just love the energy and the time people put into their music posts. Been obsessing over this song lately.. in fact, I set 'it as my alarm, nothing compares to waking up with an exhilarating voltage shock you get from Dime's dope riff skills. Lol.
Mom would knock on my door,'everyone in the neighborhood is already awake except you,' she said Lol. My phone is on the table far from my bed, and it is connected to the speaker, so... yeah... lol.
Don't get me wrong, I love my students and how they bring sunshine to my day, they just love cracking me up with some of their upgraded dry humor ... damn, my nose drips from laughing so hard. They are seriously driving me unhinged, but it's just that I am not really a morning person. I hate waking up early so much that not even the idea of money can convince me to get up... Ah, five more minutes turns to 10, turns to an hour... the struggle to get outta my bed iz real..

This actually has almost the same vibe as the riff intro of Metallica's 'For Whom the Bell Tolls,' but of course, Pantera's heavier and more aggressive (at least to me, as my bro said) was it really subjective?
The video uploaded in #3speak is up there.. right in the beginning of this post, up..up... scroll up (I don't know how to bring the video down here, thought it stays there.. so) I recorded it back then because my asshole cousin and his friends would die fighting for Hetfield, lol. I love him too, but obviously, you know who has the edge. C'mon, you can't lie.

I'm not a lazy bum.. once I'm already up and out of bed.. I go really hard. But there's something about rainy days that drains my energy these days...that's why I'm not a fan of colder weather, it juz looks so sad.. especially now that it has been raining for two months, every.SINGLE.fucking.day. I'm zoning out, like a lagging PC. Lol.
I wanted to actually extend my tender tunes to a male version, I already have my list of songs last week, but i just realized it's a good idea to have some good bangers for this week. Dime's signature groove-metal iz so effective i'm bangin' while making coffee!
