I just woke up. Oversleeping is seriously the best thing in the world.
How is your weekend going?
My phone suddenly notified me that my "Storage is almost full." I still have a bunch of pictures waiting for some writing, so I figured I'd write a post so I can finally delete some.
These pictures and video were taken last week..
"I noticed the rain stops when you step out, It seems to refuse to fall when you are out, Ellie. It's like nature loves you so much... the sun smiles every time you're out, haha" my sister in law said.
"Can you stop the rain? you ain't getting enough sunshine, hence the delirium. I think the sun is finally peeking ..let's join them in their practice today," I said.

As you can see, some people were still using umbrellas because it was still drizzling. It rained the whole morning, but look at the sky....the sun finally showed up, and you can even spot the moon. It was almost sunset when I took this shot.
Did you see the moon too? How cool is it to capture the sun and moon in one frame!
Let's zoom that in ..

That's my sister in law sitting there. A little glimpse of what home looks like. Yeah, we only hear birds, horses, goats and frogs (when it rains). I don't mind the noise really..such as children playing in the clubhouse or playing football. But intentionally shouting in a high-pitched voice?... beetch (to some who haven't read the previous blog in the highlands.. juz don't) I have forgotten her face, but her shrill voice lingers. I can hear it when the kettle whistles. She left quite an impression... it takes a deep husky voice for me to forget that .. damn.
The rain finally stopped late in the afternoon, making way for a group of young gentlemen and their football practice.
This is actually a 7-hectare (70,000 square meters) polo club, tho' it's sometimes used as a pitch for football, golf, and other sports. (Obviously, not basketball.) It is a wonderful venue for polo and equestrian events during the summer, but last Sunday it was for the kids.
The children were thrilled to receive a message from their head coach: 'Rain or shine, we have to practice, it can no longer be delayed.' So they didn't seem to mind this little one running around with them at all. They’re actually so gentle and careful with him.

Look at that superstar, running in the middle of the field...unbothered. Haha.
"You saw how tolerant the boys are of the dog?" my big brother said as he continued to poke fun at my previous tantrum in the highlands.
Unsurprisingly, I am far more tolerant of animals than humans. My brother, his wife, and their friends were coaching these young lads, including my younger cousin in football and he's one of the best goalkeepers.
"Nice block, Nigel, proud of you" I told my cousin.
"Thanks, the coach from another school is surely hitting on you" Nigel said.
"Oh... really?"
"My friend told me while we were playing on the field earlier, 'And he was complimenting your hair?! seriouly? dumb, haha."
"Oh... listening to other people's convo, eh? that's impolite! Well.. I think he got me with that hair talk in there, got me spilling my hair secrets. You think he's smooth? Lol"
"Lol, duh! I know he's not your type. I told my friend too, so he'll probably tell his coach later" He grinned.
He's younger than me, but he has these protective instincts about his girl cousins. Actually, I find my cousins way stricter than my uncles and father.

As they ran through their drills, waz just chilling on the sidelines watching. And don’t mind the water bottles and trashes scattered everywhere ..bro and the other coaches made sure their post-game routine included cleaning up the pitch, followed by a quick team huddle and some chitchat before we all headed home.
Thank you, nature, and thank you, sun. Tho it lasted only for a few hours, that afternoon sunbath honestly made me feel so much better. Sun and warmth truly have a way of helping us thrive.
Be sure to get some sun, too!
