Saludos querida comunidad, feliz #needleworkmonday 💜, este fin de semana para mi fue de trabajo bajo presión, pues me llamaron el viernes en la mañana haciéndome un encargo con urgencia, se trataba de un amigurumi para una quinceañera cuya celebración sería al día siguiente, es decir, el sábado 😱, nunca he tomado un pedido con tan poco tiempo para la elaboración pero las clientes eran mis tías así que me sentiría mal si lo rechazaba, mi reacción fue casi inmediata, pregunté de que color el vestido y el cabello para saber si los tenia en stock y resultó que sí, por eso comencé el trabajo fe inmediato a las 11 am de ese día, esperando tenerlo listo para la tarde del otro día.

Greetings, dear community, and happy #needleworkmonday 💜. This weekend involved working under pressure for me; I received an urgent request on Friday morning for an amigurumi for a girl celebrating her quinceañera the very next day—Saturday 😱. I had never taken on an order with such a tight turnaround, but since the clients were my aunts, I would have felt bad turning it down. My reaction was immediate: I asked about the colors of the dress and hair to see if I had the yarn in stock, and it turned out I did. So, I started working right away at 11:00 a.m. that day, hoping to have it finished by the following afternoon.

Proceso / Process

Usé hilo acrílico y ganchillo de 1.25mm, trabajé con tanta prisa que no tuve tiempo de anotar el patrón, sin embargo, para el cuerpo hice algunas modificaciones de uno de mis patrones anteriores, para la pierna comencé con la suela del zapato con 6 cadenas, hice dos hileras con aumentos en las puntas para obtener 20, cambie a hilo lila e hice dos hileras de puntos bajos, luego hice 2 disminuciones en la punta, cambié a hilo blanco e hice 2 disminuciones en la punta, luego una hilera con 4 disminuciones en la punta. Hice 12 puntos bajos por seis hileras, hice 2 aumentos y 14 puntos bajos por dos hileras, hice 2 aumentos y 16 puntos bajos por tres hileras.

Hice las dos piernas iguales y las uní por 2 cadenas, en la siguiente hilera hice 2 aumentos ubicados en los glúteos, hice 6 seis hileras sin aumentos y en la siguiente 2 disminuciones en los glúteos para obtener 36, hice 6 disminuciones por dos hileras para obtener 24.

I used acrylic yarn and a 1.25mm crochet hook; I worked so quickly that I didn’t have time to write down the pattern. However, for the body, I modified one of my previous patterns. For the leg, I started with the shoe sole using a chain of 6, worked two rows with increases at the ends to reach a total of 20 stitches, switched to lilac yarn and worked two rows of single crochet, then made 2 decreases at the toe; I switched to white yarn and made 2 decreases at the toe, followed by a row with 4 decreases at the toe. I worked 12 single crochet stitches for six rows, then 2 increases and 14 single crochet stitches for two rows, followed by 2 increases and 16 single crochet stitches for three rows.

I made both legs identical and joined them with a chain of 2; in the next row, I made 2 increases positioned at the buttocks, worked six rows without increases, and in the following row made 2 decreases at the buttocks to reach 36 stitches; finally, I made 6 decreases over two rows to reach 24 stitches.

Cambié a hilo lila para el tronco, continué con 8 hileras de puntos bajos, en la siguiente hilera hice 2 aumentos dobles para cada seno, aparte hice los brazos con 8 puntos bajos en un anillo y 18 hileras, uní los brazos por 2 hileras de puntos bajos , hice una hilera con disminuciones en los senos obteniendo 36, hice el borde del escote tomando solo le lado del frente de las puntadas, cambie a hilo color piel y tome el lado de atrás de las puntadas de la hilera anterior, hice 6 disminuciones por tres hileras obteniendo 12, hice 3 disminuciones y continué con el cuello por 12 hileras más, para los brazos introduje alambre por dentro.

Para la cabeza hice 6 puntos bajos en un anillo y 6 aumentos para obtener 12 y trabajé puntos bajos por 12 hileras, hice 6 aumentos por 6 hileras para obtener 42, hice 14 hileras sin aumentos y luego 6 disminuciones por 7 hileras coloqué los ojos antes de cerrar completamente. Borde los detalles de los ojos, la nariz e hice las orejas.

I switched to lilac yarn for the torso and worked 8 rows of single crochet; in the next row, I made two double increases for each breast. Separately, I made the arms by working 8 single crochet stitches into a magic ring and continuing for 18 rows. I joined the arms over the course of two rows of single crochet, then worked a row with decreases across the breast area to reach a total of 36 stitches. I created the neckline edge by working only into the front loops of the stitches, then switched to skin-colored yarn and worked into the back loops of the previous row; I made 6 decreases over three rows to reach 12 stitches, performed 3 decreases, and continued working the neck for another 12 rows. I inserted wire inside the arms.

For the head, I worked 6 single crochet stitches into a magic ring, followed by 6 increases to reach 12 stitches, and worked single crochet for 12 rows. I then made 6 increases over 6 rows to reach 42 stitches, worked 14 rows without increases, and followed with 6 decreases over 7 rows, inserting the eyes before closing the piece completely. I embroidered the details for the eyes and nose and made the ears.

Para la falda levante los puntos altos desde la cintura. Hice 24 aumentos, luego 48 aumentos, 96 puntos altos por 11 hileras introduciendo cuentas brillantes, por ultimo hice una hilera con puntadas tipo abanico.

Para el cabello con hilo negro hice una base circular de 30 puntos, y 30 mechones de 36 cadenas y 36 puntos bajos sobre estas. Levanté los puntos de la corona desde la base del cabello. Con hilo lila hice lazos tantos para el cabello como para la parte de atrás del vestido y por ultimo cosí algunas cuentas brillantes para los detalles.

For the skirt, I worked double crochet stitches upwards from the waist. I made 24 increases, then 48 increases, followed by 96 double crochet stitches over 11 rows while incorporating shiny beads; finally, I worked a row of fan stitches.

For the hair, using black yarn, I created a circular base of 30 stitches and 30 strands made of 36 chain stitches topped with 36 single crochet stitches. I worked the crown stitches up from the hair base. Using lilac yarn, I made bows for both the hair and the back of the dress, and finally, I sewed on some shiny beads for detail.

Resultado / Result

Definitivamente creo que rompí mi propio récord de tiempo haciendo este amigurumi, lo entregué justo a las 6:40 pm del día siguiente 😄 me encantó hacerlo pero creo que no volveré a tomar un pedido con tan poco margen de tiempo.

I definitely think I broke my own speed record making this amigurumi; I delivered it right at 6:40 PM the next day 😄. I loved making it, but I don’t think I’ll take on an order with such a tight deadline again.
