Hello ladies, it's been a while since I've been here, I've been a bit out of focus and lost consistency in several things but here I am.
Saludos ladies, tenía tiempo sin venir por acá, había estado un poco fuera de foco y perdí consistencia en varias cosas pero aquí estoy.
What is one “luxury” that you think is completely overrated? It could be anything people see as a symbol of a comfortable or successful life — like a designer handbag, a huge house, expensive holidays, fancy restaurants, or even something much simpler. What’s something you wouldn’t spend your money on, even if you could afford it? And why?
There are several things, but for now I'd say a huge house. I remember wanting things like that before, until you actually LIVE your life! If I have a small family and don't usually have many visitors, I feel it would be unnecessary to pay for, maintain, and clean rooms I'll hardly ever use. It's not that I'm a minimalist or that I don't like a beautiful, spacious house; I simply think there comes a point where having more space doesn't necessarily mean a better quality of life. I prefer a comfortable, functional house that I actually use.
¿Cuál es un “lujo” que cree que está completamente sobrevalorado? Podría ser cualquier cosa que la gente vea como un símbolo de una vida cómoda o exitosa, como un bolso de diseñador, una casa enorme, unas vacaciones costosas, restaurantes elegantes o incluso algo mucho más simple. ¿En qué no gastarías tu dinero, incluso si pudieras permitírtelo? ¿Y por qué?
Son varias cosas pero por ahora diría que una casa enorme y recuerdo que antes yo deseaba estas cosas, hasta que realmente vives de verdad. Si tengo una familia pequeña y no suelo recibir muchas visitas, siento que sería innecesario pagar, mantener y limpiar habitaciones que casi nunca voy a usar. No es que sea minimalista ni que no me guste una casa bonita y espaciosa, simplemente creo que llega un punto en el que tener más espacio no significa necesariamente tener una mejor calidad de vida. Prefiero una casa cómoda, funcional y que realmente utilice.
