[Movie] I Watched The Idea of You for the Outfits

When I first started watching this, I immediately fall in love with Anne Hathaway's outfit as Solène Marchand. I wanted to snatch all of her look because if I could characterize her just based on the outfit, it is so me. If I were older with more money, I'd definitely buy all of her looks including the one she wears during the coachela scene. I found all the outfits in shopyourfavoritemovies including the totebag that would fit an entire house. ( I'd replace all of my current one with that exact totebag).

The idea of you is a movie that I solely watch for Hathaway's performance and outfits. I don't think the story captures my attention enough other than it's actually exploring a socially interesting premise, the age gap relationship but reversed gender. Sometimes I watch a movie because of its story, character, and even music or outfit. This time, I am watching it and instantly hooked with all the wardrobe. It creates such an effortless look throughout the film and somehow elevates the already effortless beauty of Hathaway’s.

Hathaway's playing as Solène really gets the characterization of it. The way she dresses, her name and all the elegance that comes to it was elevated through the well-curated outfits. Even when she rolls with the duffel bag, that scene looks so elegant.

Oh and there's another movie that I exclusively watch for its outfit, which is Upgraded, for its business-like outfit ideas and style that certainly is timeless and elegant. If you're into fashion, that is also a movie you should check out.

So, you see sometimes you can enjoy watching a movie not only for its story but outfits or maybe the playlist. I'll share a movie that I solely watch for its playlist next.

Do you have that kind of film/movie that you simply watch because of its outfit?

I pay a lot of attention to girls' outfits... and I look at them even more 😍😍

I think guys don't really pay attention to other men's outfits... UNLESS THEY ARE SUPERHEROES!! \🤩/.... AND VILLIANS!! \😜/

Yo me fijo mucho en los outfits de las chicas.... y mas aun me fijo en ellas 😍😍

Pienso los hombres no nos fijamos mucho en los outfits masculinos... A MENOS QUE SEAN DE SUPER HEROEEEEES!! \🤩/.... Y Villanos!! \😜/

I can see that what caught your eye most about this film were the dresses; if we had loads of money, it would be a piece of cake 😂

That’s interesting; the idea of watching a movie just for the outfits intrigues me—especially since this film isn't set in a historical period—but I suppose seeing Anne Hathaway and her costumes is always appealing.
