¡Feliz día para todos!
Estos días quería realizar un pequeño proyecto inspirado en esos animalitos que tanta alegría nos brindan: nuestras queridas mascotas. En esta ocasión creé, amigos, una parejita de perritos decorativos tejidos con nylon reciclado. Los invito a que me acompañen a conocer el paso a paso de estos pequeños cachorritos.

✨Modo de confección
Antes de comenzar a tejer, cortamos las bolsas de nylon en tiras finas y las enrollamos alrededor de un cartón, formando pequeños carretes con los que trabajaremos. En este caso preparé los colores negro, blanco y rojo.
Pasos para la confección de la cabeza
En la segunda vuelta subí con dos cadenetas y realicé dos medias varetas en cada punto de la vuelta anterior, formando los aumentos. Cerré nuevamente con punto deslizado.
En la tercera vuelta trabajé una media vareta y un aumento, repitiendo esta secuencia hasta completar la vuelta. En la cuarta realicé dos medias varetas y un aumento. La quinta vuelta la trabajé con una media vareta en cada espacio y continué de la misma forma durante las vueltas sexta, séptima y octava.
Al terminar la octava vuelta cambié al nylon blanco. Cerré con punto deslizado, rematé y corté el nylon negro. De la vuelta nueve a la trece continué tejiendo una media vareta en cada espacio, manteniendo la misma cantidad de puntos.
En la vuelta catorce comencé las disminuciones, trabajando dos medias varetas y una disminución sucesivamente. En la vuelta quince realicé una media vareta y una disminución, y en la dieciséis continué con las disminuciones hasta cerrar.
Antes de cerrar completamente la cabeza, la rellené con los restos de nylon que fui obteniendo durante el trabajo. También coloqué las piedrecitas para los ojos y bordé la nariz y la boca con aguja de coser. Finalmente terminé las disminuciones, cerré y rematé.
Pasos para la confección de las patitas
Realicé cuatro patitas por separado. Luego uní dos y dos por uno de sus lados con dos puntos. Después uní ambos pares mediante una cadeneta de tres eslabones y comencé a tejer alrededor de las patitas para ir formando el cuerpo.
Pasos para la formación del cuerpo
Con las cuatro patitas unidas, continué tejiendo alrededor hasta completar siete vueltas.
A partir de aquí comencé a diferenciar la parte delantera y trasera del cachorrito. En la octava vuelta seleccioné la parte delantera, donde irá colocada la cabeza, y conté catorce puntos entre las dos patitas. En esta zona realicé las disminuciones y continué tejiendo alrededor.
Dejé abierta la parte donde irá la cabeza y fui cerrando el resto del cuerpo. En la parte trasera, entre las dos patitas, quedaron seis puntos, que fui uniendo mediante disminuciones hasta cerrar esta zona, donde posteriormente coloqué la colita. Terminé con punto deslizado y rematé.
Por la abertura rellené el cuerpo y las patitas con los restos de nylon. Luego acomodé la cabeza en posición vertical y la uní al cuerpo con aguja de coser e hilo, procurando que quedara firme.
Pasos para la confección de la colita
Ya con el cuerpo formado, realicé la pequeña colita con nylon blanco. Tejí una cadeneta de cinco eslabones y la cerré formando un aro. Dentro tejí seis medias varetas y continué durante cinco vueltas, manteniendo seis puntos en cada una.
Al finalizar cerré con punto deslizado, rematé y corté. Después fijé la colita en la parte trasera utilizando nylon del mismo color.
Pasos para la confección de las orejitas
En la siguiente vuelta hice una disminución para trabajar cuatro puntos y continué otra vuelta con cuatro medias varetas. Para terminar, subí con dos cadenetas y realicé tres varetas.
Dejé una pequeña hebra de nylon para fijarlas a la cabeza y coloqué una a cada lado, aproximadamente a la altura de los ojos.
Una vez terminado el cachorrito, podemos personalizarlo a nuestro gusto y darle ese pequeño toque que lo haga aún más atractivo. En este caso quise colocarle un pequeño lacito tejido con nylon rojo, que le aporta un toque de color y hace que nuestra parejita luzca aún más encantadora.
Y así terminamos nuestra parejita de pequeños cachorritos tejidos con nylon reciclado.
Podemos utilizarlos como adornos, llaveros, para decorar, regalar u obsequiar. Además, al estar elaborados con nylon, son fáciles de limpiar y pueden conservar su forma.

These days I wanted to create a small project inspired by those animals that bring us so much joy: our beloved pets.
This time, friends, I created a little pair of decorative puppies crocheted with recycled nylon.
I invite you to join me and discover the step-by-step process of making these little puppies.

✨Making process
Before beginning to crochet, we cut the nylon bags into thin strips and wind them around a piece of cardboard, forming small spools that we can use for crocheting. In this case, I prepared black, white and red nylon.
Steps for making the head
First, I started with the puppy's head. Using black nylon, I made a chain of six stitches and joined it to form a ring. Inside the ring, I crocheted nine half double crochets and closed with a slip stitch.
For the second round, I chained two stitches and worked two half double crochets in each stitch of the previous round, creating the increases. I closed again with a slip stitch.
For the third round, I worked one half double crochet followed by one increase, repeating this sequence until the round was complete. In the fourth round, I worked two half double crochets followed by one increase. The fifth round was worked with one half double crochet in each stitch, and I continued in the same way through the sixth, seventh and eighth rounds.
At the end of the eighth round, I changed to white nylon. I closed with a slip stitch, fastened off and cut the black nylon. From rounds nine to thirteen, I continued working one half double crochet in each stitch, keeping the same number of stitches.
In round fourteen, I began the decreases, working two half double crochets followed by one decrease throughout the round. In round fifteen, I worked one half double crochet followed by one decrease. In round sixteen, I continued with the decreases until the head was closed.
Before completely closing the head, I stuffed it with the leftover pieces of nylon collected during the project. I also added the small beads for the eyes and embroidered the nose and mouth with a sewing needle. Finally, I completed the decreases, closed the opening and fastened off.
Steps for making the legs
Once the head was finished, I continued with the legs. For each leg, I made a chain of six stitches, joined it to form a ring, and crocheted eight half double crochets inside. I continued working eight half double crochets in each round until completing five rounds.
I made four legs separately. Then I joined them in pairs along one side using two stitches. After that, I joined both pairs with a chain of three stitches and began crocheting around the legs to form the body.
Steps for forming the body
With the four legs joined, I continued crocheting around until completing seven rounds.
From this point, I began to distinguish the front and back of the puppy. In the eighth round, I selected the front section, where the head would be placed, and counted fourteen stitches between the two front legs. In this section, I made the decreases and continued crocheting around.
I left the section where the head would be attached open and began closing the rest of the body. At the back, between the two legs, six stitches remained. I joined these stitches using decreases until this section was closed, leaving the area where the tail would later be attached. I finished with a slip stitch and fastened off.
Through the opening, I stuffed the body and legs with the leftover nylon. Then I positioned the head upright and attached it to the body with a sewing needle and thread, making sure it was firmly secured.
Steps for making the tail
Once the body was formed, I made the small tail using white nylon. I made a chain of five stitches and joined it to form a small ring. Inside, I crocheted six half double crochets and continued for five rounds, maintaining six stitches in each round.
At the end, I closed with a slip stitch, fastened off and cut the nylon. Then I attached the tail to the back using nylon of the same color.
Steps for making the ears
Finally, I prepared the ears. For each one, I made a chain of six stitches, chained three stitches to begin the next row, and crocheted five half double crochets.
In the following round, I made a decrease, leaving four stitches, and continued with another round of four half double crochets. To finish, I chained two stitches and made three double crochets.
I left a small strand of nylon to attach each ear to the head and positioned them on both sides, approximately at eye level.
Once the puppy was finished, we can personalize it according to our taste and add a small detail to make it even more attractive. In this case, I decided to add a small bow crocheted with red nylon, which brings a touch of color and makes our little pair look even more charming.
And with that, our little pair of puppies crocheted with recycled nylon is complete.
They can be used as decorations, keychains, for decorating, or as gifts. Since they are made with nylon, they are also easy to clean and can maintain their shape.
