There are experiences that can only be understood by going through them personally.

We know that life is not easy; there are no simple ways to bypass fear and the feeling of being unprotected. Every time I feel a lack of confidence or hesitate about sharing something personal, I think twice before saying it. Because I believe there is nothing sadder than expressing in words what you might be going through, only for it to mean nothing—left feeling even lonelier than if you had hoped that, by opening up, you might find more empathy or genuine support.

I know there are many people who likely go through life without sharing much of what they experience, perhaps to avoid burdening others, especially if they have already faced negative reactions or rejection when doing so. I think that is why I feel such a strong sense of purpose with the degree I am pursuing, and I believe nothing happens by chance. Maybe I rely too much on intuition, or simply let myself get carried away by things, connecting the dots to make sense of what lacks a clear explanation.

Being able to share something personal is a way to build a bond of trust with someone else, especially with a loved one. However, I believe that no one, including myself, is truly prepared to hear the truth others have to say. I don't know if I am making sense, but it is like wanting to speak while knowing it won't change anything—in fact, it can be much worse than keeping what you feel or are going through in silence. It isn't for show or drama; I just think many of us live through things that might never seem believable.

Intuition may not always point us in the right direction, but I trust it deeply and listen to what it tries to tell me through my relationships and experiences. It is strange to think how someone can be misunderstood after having been completely normal, without any social or personal issues. I think a lot about those who lack the capacity or strength to release what they have kept hidden, sometimes for years.

I know some things cannot be changed, but finding someone who listens without judgment—and who takes the time to reflect objectively on what they are told—would make a world of difference in the society we live in. I will have to keep learning from what I experience; there is a saying that "God squeezes, but does not choke" (every cloud has a silver lining). Sometimes it feels that way, but we have to keep moving forward because nothing can destroy us more than our own thoughts.

I hope to become capable enough so that, when someone approaches me with trust to ask for support or help, I can open-mindedly listen and reflect deeply on what they share without any negative reaction. I believe there is a desire in the world to listen and be listened to, but very few people actually want to be there to face the dark spaces of human existence. I suppose time will eventually put everything in its place, even if the wait can cause profound pain. Still, I am a firm believer that everything eventually falls back into place, and that nothing lasts forever—neither the good nor the bad we go through.
