Hello, Splinterlands fans. We’re back with a new installment of this special series, where I’ll share my latest “adventures” in this amazing video game on the Hive Blockchain. This time, I don’t have any progress to share with you regarding Ranked mode—I just focused on collecting more cards to add to my deck so I can move up a division in Modern. However, it hasn’t been easy to find the cards I needed, so I had to put off writing this post for a bit until I could get them.

34th Starter Pack Opening
But before I show you the cards I managed to get to improve my deck, I want to share my usual Conclave Arcana Starter Pack opening. This has already become something of a tradition in these posts, so skipping it feels a little empty or strange, to be honest. This time around, I didn’t get a surprise as fascinating as the ones I’ve had in previous openings, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t get anything at all.

Another thing I've been doing lately is spending—or rather, investing—a good portion of the GLINTS I've been earning by playing Ranked/Modern on buying cards in the Shop/Rewards section. I’m not really sure if this serves any purpose, other than getting multiple copies of certain cards that I’ve noticed haven’t turned up for me before in Starter Packs, for example. But other than that… I don’t know, at least it helps me complete these chapters.

More Cards to Upgrade My Deck
Now then, the most important part of this chapter is the purchase I made here of some cards I needed for my deck. After playing in Ranked/Modern for almost a week following the latest changes, I’ve realized that I need certain cards that are essential to at least be able to play in some of the available Brackets. As some of you may already know, before the recent changes, I finished the previous season at the Silver rank. So with all the changes and new rules, it’s become harder for me to play in Modern.
So I decided to take my time to get the cards I need to improve my deck and play more in the divisions I’m currently in. Among the cards I bought are:
- A RARE Unit of the Neutral element called Lady Stealthfire (Human).
- Another COMMON Unit of the Earth element called Living Berm (Elemental).
- Yet another Unit, of RARE rarity and the Death element, called Grimshield Hexpriest (Leonide).
- Yet another Unit, of COMMON rarity and the Fire element, called Emberscale Invoker (Drakoshan).
- Yet another Unit, also of COMMON rarity and the Life element, called Godsnot Sorceress (Bruteborn).
- One more Unit, of EPIC rarity and the Life element, called Lady Amara (Elf).
- One more Unit, of RARE rarity and the Death element, called Necrulencian Thief (Human).
- And one more Unit, of COMMON rarity and the Neutral element, called Steelshield Arbalest (Human).
Ahora sí, lo más relevante de este capítulo es la compra que les tengo aquí de algunas cartas que necesitaba para mí mazo. Luego de jugar en Ranked/Modern luego de casi una semana de los últimos cambios que han hecho me he dado cuenta de que debo de tener ciertas cartas que son indispensables para al menos poder jugar algunos de los Brackets disponibles. Como ya sabrán algunos, antes de los cambios que han habido, terminé la temporada anterior en el rango de Silver. Así que con todos los cambios y las nuevas reglas que hay se ha vuelto más difícil para mí poder jugar en Moderno.
Así que decidí tomarme mi tiempo para conseguir esas cartas que necesito para así poder mejorar mi mazo y jugar más en las divisiones en las que me encuentro ahora. Entre las cartas que compré se encuentran:
