Enjoying corn in a different way is sure to make you love it. The subtle hint of corn, combined with the savory, sweet, and tangy flavors of all the ingredients, comes together in a single serving bowl.

Corn has always been a special ingredient that tastes delicious no matter how it’s prepared. Whether it’s fried as a snack, made into porridge, baked into a cake, or even combined with a few other ingredients in a simple dish, it becomes something truly special. To be honest, corn is one of those natural foods that tastes great even when simply boiled. And it’s even better when prepared and served this way.

Grilled Corn with Cheese is a combination of corn and spreadable cheese that makes it even more melt-in-your-mouth and incredibly delicious after it’s grilled. This dish is a great alternative for those of you who want to enjoy corn in a way that’s anything but ordinary.

Ingredients

2 ears of corn 100 grams of spreadable cheese 20 grams of grated cheese 1 tablespoon of butter 1 teaspoon of chili powder 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise (optional)

Cooking Procedure

Remove the corn kernels from the cob, then boil the corn until tender and cooked through. If you want a little flavor, you can add just a pinch of salt while boiling. I used two ears of corn to make a larger batch.

Add the butter and stir until well combined—do this while the corn is still hot—then add the grated cheese and sweetened condensed milk and stir again.

Add the mayonnaise and chili powder, stir again until well combined, and once the flavor is just right, add the corn to a heat-resistant bowl.

After adding it to a heat-resistant bowl, top it with cream cheese until the surface of the corn is covered. You can also add mozzarella cheese to taste. Then bake under the broiler at 100 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes. It takes a while because I cooked it on low heat. Just adjust the time according to your oven.

The final result is absolutely beautiful—roasted corn that’s melt-in-your-mouth tender. It tastes incredibly delicious, savory and sweet, with a hint of spiciness from the chili powder. The flavor is truly extraordinary; even my husband said this is the best corn he’s ever had—it really is that good.
