This is the time that I gave in to the temptation, I just thought I deserved it and I can do it because I want to! Haha. But seriously, its a last minute decision and I just merely copied Mama. I am not even hungry coz I just had breakfast. But you see, after finding this cheap Maja, for only 15 pesos, I just grabbed them coz its cheaper and if its cheaper then I can have it! But I also know that the seller sell a delicious maja because mama often buy to her...so I trust Mama's taste. Hihi. Man, the way I made a it a big deal, anyone would think I decided to buy a hundred dollars snacks or something,, lololol
So this was from last week, Sunday morning and its tiangge-an day. We just run some errand here then bought some ingredients for lunch. Mama was akso looking for a cheap cassava but couldn't find any. As for me I am just following mama coz I already got all the items that I need.
So Mama look for something else, then her eyes landed on the side where all the kakanin vendors are. I am sure thats mama's favorite is Maja because whenever she crave for a kakanin, she always ended up getting a Maja. Lol. As for me I love rice puto than maja, the Puto made with rice flour and just just regular flour. And sooo, after paying for two Maja, we then left to go back home and so that ee cab finally eat the maja.
Its really hot that day! Crazy hot! We used this route here coz we had to stop by somewhere. Also, its Sunday but there's not much people that we encountered that day. Good for me coz i'm allergic to people..lolol
When we arrive home, ee feast on our Maja first because I'm kinda excited to eat it again. Here's Mama, she already eaten half of it. Lol. And this Maja always come with a crispy toasted Latik, Maja taste even better with it. But to be honest, I can just eat all the Latik coz it is too addicting, lol
Here it is...its color yellow coz they used a literal ground corn in it, not the sweet corn I think but just white corn. It is far from the Maja Blanca that used corn starch I think. I prefer this one to be honest. I like Maja Blanca but it is just too much sometimes, it us too creamy sometimes it become too overwhelming to my mouth. Anyway, I topped this Maja with the Latik and enjoy its soft and crispy combination. Nyommm ♪ \(^ω^\ )
Now, that's not all guys because mama also decided to buy a kilo of Lanzones. We got lucky coz we found a cheap ones and mama grabbed the opportunity. She said it is sweet and that she likes them very much.
Of course I tried some too. I love Lanzones when it is sweet coz I can enjoy them. But this thing I think has a mix of sour ones in there. When I open one and tasted them sour, i'll give them to mama and complain about it..lol. but mama said it is not sour. Ehhhhh? Why it is to me (≧▽≦). Good thing the next lanzones I grab was all sweet. And so I enjoyed them too. Yayyyy ƪ(‾.‾“)┐
