Me trae momentos del viaje anterior y los mezcla con el último viaje, lo sé por ese sombrerito que me compro mi hija en el último viaje aparece en el último cuadro y el cabello se ha vuelto blanco, he dejado de pintarmelo.
A veces quisiera tener impreso estas fotografías pero me doy cuenta que serian otra foto más en el álbum de fotografías en la biblioteca, ya no hay niños pequeños para enseñarselas. Simplemente me toca disfrutarlas a solas.
It brings back moments from a previous trip and blends them with the most recent one—I can tell because that little hat my daughter bought me on the last trip appears in the final frame, and my hair has turned white; I’ve stopped dyeing it.
Sometimes I wish I had these photographs printed out, but then I realize they would just be one more set of pictures in an album on the bookshelf—there are no small children left to show them to. I simply have to enjoy them on my own.
