Hello, there! **@saydie** here, playing **Splinterlands** everyday!
As I was writing this post, there is an ongoing game maintenance to bring Brackets in Modern Format, and given its duration, once the maintenance is over, the new set of Voucher cards will be on sale. That will make it more difficult for me to get the final voucher sales for the previous Voucher cards, but I have some workarounds in mind that will, which will bring us as close to the total sales.
But while waiting for the maintenance to end, I want to share the results of the Black Foil auction for Vethos Spineclaw and Taark Nightbloom.
Black Foil Arcane Vethos Spineclaw Winners
Unlike the GFA Fortune Draw, the Black Foil Auction for Conjurer's Hubris only lasted for a total of 5 days since there are only 5 Black foil copies of the card that will be auctioned, making it an incredibly scarce card. Also, unlike in the Fortune draw, where anyone who submits their entries has the chance to acquire the card, the only way to win the auction is to be the highest bidder for the card. In short, it's a whale's game, and here are the winners of the auction as well as how much they spent for each card.
| Date | Mint# | Total Entries | Winners |
|---|---|---|---|
| 14/09/2026 | 5 | chiefquimbysdad | |
| 15/09/2026 | 4 | vugtis | |
| 16/09/2026 | 3 | bravetofu | |

| Average Auction Mark/Card |
All in all, the winners for the Black Foil Arcane Auction event have spent a total of 810 Auction Marks, or an average of 162 Auction Marks per card. Using beaker007's Resource Converter, an Auction Mark costs 3005.53 DEC or 377.88 SPS. That was the price for 1000 Aura and 50 Vouchers, including the 500 DEC fee to craft each Auction Mark. So a copy of Vethos Spineclaw would cost around 486,895.86 DEC if we based it on the average Auction Marks per card.
Compared that to the 11,500 Vouchers that you will need to have a max copy of Vethos Spineclaw at regular foil, which is equivalent to 381,282.5 DEC. The Black Foil Arcane cards from the auction cost more than their regular foil counterpart, but not so much as double the price, which I think is a huge win for BFA holders given that their card gives 20% bonus rewards in ranked battle.
When it comes to the winning bids, the player who won the lowest bid was chiefquimbysdad, with the mint #5 for only 148 Auction Marks. While the highest bid went to michealb, who won the mint #1 of the card for 177 Auction Marks.
Total Auction Marks Used For Each Card Mint.
Now, let's go back to the requirements needed to craft an Auction Mark. Each Auction Mark needs DEC, Aura, and a Voucher to craft the token in the Artisan Quarter, and for the Auction Marks used in the Conjurer's Hubris Auction, here is the breakdown of the resources and tokens that were used.
| Aution Marks Total | |

| Vouchers Used | |
| Aura Used | |

Through this auction, we burned a total of 40,500 Vouchers, which is only enough for a days worth of the Vouchers we minted. Also, the Auction has burned 810,000 Aura, which is good for land, and with the 405,000 DEC that was used to craft the Auction Marks, the company and the DAO get 202,500 DEC each.
Black Foil Arcane Taark Nightbloom Winners
Since there were only 3 Black Foil Arcane copies of Taark Nightbloom, I was expecting to have a piercer competition to bid for this card. But the sales for the card have turned out to be lower than what I was expecting.
| Date | Mint# | Total Entries | Winners |
|---|---|---|---|
| 23/09/2026 | 3 | dafiz | |
| 24/09/2026 | 2 | bravetofu | |
| 25/09/2026 | 1 | ducecrypto | |

| Average Auction Mark/Card |
So, in this auction, ducecrypto bids the lowest Auction Marks for mint # 1 at only 252 Auction Marks. While, the highest bid was on mint #2 for 270 Auction Marks, which was won by bravetofu. In total, this auction has used up 707 Auction Marks, and if we based on the average number of Auction Marks used per card, a card would cost 778,432.27 DEC.
Now, let's go back to the requirements needed to craft an Auction Mark. Each Auction Mark needs DEC, Aura, and a Voucher to craft the token in the Artisan Quarter. For the Auction Marks used in the Auction, here is the breakdown of the resources and tokens that were used.
| Aution Marks Total | |

Through this auction, we burned an additional 38,500 Vouchers. Also, the Auction has burned 770,000 Aura, which is good for land, and with the 385,000 DEC that was used to craft the Auction Marks, the company and the DAO get 192,500 DEC each.
Closing
As I finished writing this post, the maintenance had not yet concluded, so I am sure that by the time it concluded, we will see new Voucher cards. Looking forward to how the next batch will sell, given the new abilities that they bring to the game.
Thank you, and see you on the next post!
