Hello and greetings to everyone! Today I want to show you how I made a case to store my new scissors, which I bought because I didn't have any fabric scissors. The ones I was using couldn't cut fabric anymore because I used them so much for cutting paper. Then I found a very simple, small pair of scissors, and I thought I'd make a case for them so they wouldn't be damaged by moisture and so I could take better care of them. One of the best ways to make this case is by using recycled materials, like the fabric I used, which is from my mom's previous sewing projects. She gives me scraps of fabric so I can continue making useful things. The fabric is from a pair of overalls—that's what we call them here—and there were a lot of scraps left over. I think this fabric is good because it's resistant and seems durable. In addition to that, I'll be adding a detail to give my case some personality so it doesn't look so plain. This case is easy to make and doesn't require as much fabric as it seems; well, that depends on the size of the scissors. Since I like to do easy sewing projects, today I decided to share the step-by-step instructions with you so you can also make your own scissor cases.

Paso 1/Step 1
I started by making the shape on a sheet of paper, I took the measurement of the size of the scissors, leaving more space than normal because I wanted the space to be a little free since it is used to store thread and needles, so I made it like that, I folded the sheet on its side to form a triangle and left a part to function as the lid, and that's how the case turned out which looks like an abstract figure.
Paso 2/Step 2
I traced the shape I made on the paper onto the fabric, then cut out the shape and pinned it in place so it wouldn't come loose.
Paso 3/Step 3
The orange fabric scrap had a Velcro pocket, which I used to add to the case. I marked where each side of the Velcro went and sewed them together with a straight stitch.
Paso 4/Step 4
After the scrap of black mesh fabric, I made the bias binding for just the lid and the opening of the case, and then I sewed the case.
Paso 5/Step 5
Finally, I sewed on a patch I made with seed beads. It's of Pompompurin, a character from Samrio.
